Brought my Mum here for an Afternoon tea to celebrate her birthday. The food is delicious and just the right amount. The staff are very friendly and helpful, l would definitely recommend.

Clean, well run characterful hotel. Friendly service and great food. Perfect for a few nights stop for us.

This hotel is fantastic. The food, the staff, the rooms, everything was perfect. Huge compliments to the chef! Our first stay away in a long long time and we loved it.

On arrival a very pleasant welcome. Attentive and interested (in you) personnel. Comfortable rooms and extremely Warming on a Chilly Day. Great Location for Blenheim Palace. The Breakfast is Brilliant and Cleanly Presented. Our dinner last night was superb. Nothing to fault because it’s just too nice to fault.

Its our first time here and weve so far loved it. The staff have been amazing, very friendly and helpful and couldnt do enough. We ate at the hotels restaurant after seeing the reviews and wow we werent disappointed … the food was gorgeous

I have stayed at this hotel twice, it has one of the largest ranges of gins in the country and food is of a very high standard the rooms are well presented however this hotel is so hot it's untrue I was the first time and the second with the current heatwave was unbearable. I have two young children and needed 3 fans on all day and night to keep the temperature at a normal level. Something needs to be done we are reviewing if we stay their again next year because of this.

Lovely evening in the garden with some live jazz. Friendly staff. We didn't eat but food on other tables looked great. Will be back.

Came here for my grandmas 80th birthday, lovely 3 course meal, amazing staff.

We had a meal in the restaurant rather than the garden, which looked really nice and relaxed. The selection of gin was crazy and I would love to try them. The food was good and well priced. However do not go if you are in a rush as the service was slow, not in a don't care fashion just a relaxed way. The food is worth the wait and we had a really relaxing time. Definitely worth it.

This was a really nice 3 night stay. I had been slightly concerned at the mixed reviews but everything was excellent. Accommodation was traditional decor, modest sized rooms with modernized bathrooms. Complimentary tea/coffee, water in rooms and Wi-Fi. Service was excellent with reception staff v helpful including guiding us to local riverside pub for dinner. Courtyard restaurant also good and we had lunch, afternoon tea and dinner on different days. On the doorstep of Blenheim Palace and the weather fantastic to make a great weekend.

We were there yesterday. 3 of us ate sirlion roast. 3 of us are sick. Headache, vomiting, diaherrea for £72. My daugther ate cheeseburger, she is fine.

Charming old building but the downside to that is people walking up & down the stairs can be a little disruptive to sleep. Other than that, we had an excellent meal and the staff were very friendly & helpful.

Visited yesterday as I was treated to afternoon tea by a friend. It was quiet when we visited but I imagine you would receive the same great service has they been busy. We were shown to our table and the food was absolutely beautiful. On the stand was 4 sandwiches each (which was plenty), 2 latge warm scones each and 4 cakes each! As I don't drink hot drinks I was able to change my option to a cold drink. The interior is furnished beautifully and they are the home of over 400 different brands of gin! The afternoon tea was bought using a Groupon voucher but we would have happily paid full price for it. Staff were really accommodating. There is a small amount of parking outside but if that is full there are plenty of side streets to park in and Woodstock is small enough to walk around in a matter of moments anyway!

Afternoon tea really excellent. Only one very small complaint — no tea cosy, so the pot didn't stay hot. The location is great, the service was friendly, professional and made for a lovely afternoon.

Nice hotel to spend one or two nights… excellent location and quite good cuisine.

We live locally and booked a meal in the restaurant. A relative had kindly purchased a £150 gift voucher to perk me up after I had undertaken a year of chemotherapy including a stem cell transplant. We had a nice meal, the bill came to £107. I presented the voucher in payment and asked for the difference of £43 to go on a voucher so that we could come back and use this remainder. I knew I would not be offered cash or a refund because it set this out on the back of the voucher, the total value had to be spent at the Feathers. The restaurant manager refused to provide a voucher for the balance, spending a good 10 minutes arguing this point, before then eventually providing the voucher! This experience totally ruined our evening, we really don’t feel like going back at all now. His attitude was so petty! Family and local friends have been outraged on our behalf!

Polite staff, very helpful, clean and beautiful cosy rooms, beds are like sleeping on a cloud, breakfast was perfection. Once again thankyou for having us :)

Genuine english experience. Room quality is unconsistent from one to another but globally great place.

Really nice service, excellent food, was great to enjoy the BBQ grilled bavette steak outside on the terrace.

We had a delightful overnight stay with dinner and breakfast last week, wonderful food, lovely clean and well fitted bedroom, super comfortable all round. Staff very helpful even brought up complementary tea or coffee without being asked. Nice touch. What a lovely place to stay enjoyed very much, will return in the autumn.

Stayed here so we would be near Blenheim Palace Battle of the proms. It is only 5 minute walk to the gates. Fantastic location, room, staff really friendly and accomodating. It is a must to dine in the restraunt superb. Will definatley stay here again.

We were disappointed. It was my wife's birthday. We rang and booked it with a voucher which had been given to us by our daughter. Dominic didn't appear to know we were coming. The food was average. Scones rock hard, which were sent back, replaced with warm ones, which as they cooled, were almost as bad. Very poor P R. No one asked if we enjoyed the meal. After sitting for almost half an hour, no one around, we got up and left.

Popped in for a Sunday brunch on Father's Day without a reservation. Lovely courtyard with great service and food on a brilliant sunny day.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We tried a huge amount of different gins, had a very tasty three course dinner and stayed in a lovely room overlooking the courtyard. Would defintely recommend going there to check out their Guinness world record collection of gin.

If you like Gin you need to visit. The food is also very good. The rooms also very comfortable and stylish. Coffee brought to your room in the morning was a lovely touch. It's all part of the good service.

Nice hotel, but it ended there. Service was terrible and inattentive. Food was nothing special and quite standard fare, unremarkable and not memorable.

What a lovely hotel! Comfortable, well appointed, individual. Friendly, helpful staff; terrific food — and as for the bar, well, what can you say? All those amazing gins, it's quite surprising we managed to get to Blenheim at all.

My family and I just went for lunch last weekend at the feathers. The decor was nice but the meal was disgraceful. Some of us had mushroom soup and it was very bland and not very nice, I didnt finish it. For my main, I had beef with vegetables, roast potatoes and a yorkshire pudding. The veg and potatoes were very nice and were the nicest part of my meal. The beef came out rare, thin and in a pool of blood, some people might like it this way (not many) so the staff should give the option of how you might like it cooked. Another member of my family ordered crab cakes and they came out cold in the middle, it was sent back and heated. It was taken off the bill. My main was really unpleasent and I didnt finish that either. I wasnt even going to try deserts so we got the bill. It was very expensive.

We had a nice evening here, but there was no steak on the menu and I really really wanted steak. Steakless.
