The hotel and room were very clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Our evening meal and breakfast were both delicious. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Lovely boxing Day lunch served by Jinni and her staff. Would certainly recommend, and we will certainly be coming again! ☃️

Great hotel, no phone service, very little 3 or 4g Wi-Fi very weak.

Been today for the first time to use the spa facilities. Disappointing! small pool sauna/ steam. Lovely outdoor hottub whuch unfortunately only fits 3 people in! And my treatment that I was looking forwards to was very short! (glad it was half price as 30 quid for that would have been ridiculous! ) Questioned by staff on way out about paying even though id paid 3 weeks ago! wont be returning.

Saw these people on Four in a bed. Hotel looked nice but the hosts were awful. Played a game throughout.

Great rooms and spafacilities thoughtful touches like robes and slippers to make your stay even more relaxing would recommend.

In need of TLC. Dirty walls, doors, cobwebs, switches. Bathroom floor wet all the time, radiator leaking. Hotel right on the road. Door key continually didn't work.
Spa staff nice helpful and good treatments. Pool warm. Restaurant ok, booked six months ago but no table ready for us on arrival.
Due to cleaning being below par wouldn't stay here again.

Good meeting place with nice food, coffee and lunch menu. Also had an evening meal here and it was good quality food. Spa facilities were also good when I used the 4 years ago but can’t comment on how they are now.

The hotel is nice, quite modern and OK for an overnight stay. Greeted on arrival by a friendly and helpful receptionist. The room needed a good clean, with the light fixtures covered in dust/cobwebs and toilet floor still having bits of paper on it from previous occupants. The bed looked like a child had made it and unfortunately was very uncomfortable. The room needed some maintenance too, with a window that wouldn't shut and a toilet roll holder loose in the wall. The bath/shower was good, as was the Wi-Fi. The spa and pool facilities were decent and a nice bonus. The location of the hotel is good for walks in the forest, but not close to any other amenities. A taxi was hard to locate. Parking available on site. Overall, good for a overnight stay, but disappointing as a 4 star hotel.

We stayed here Sunday night for the nearby classic car show on Monday.
The two staff on duty (one male, one female) were miserable, un-helpful people. Not the sort of reception to welcome you.
The rooms were very clean, comfortable and warm.
We went down for evening meal, the restaurant staff were better than the reception staff.
But the food was horrible. People knock McDonald’s as cheap and nasty, unhealthy junk food, but I’d rather have had a McDonald’s than the rubbish they served up as steak and chips with peppered sauce.
The steak was gristle and tough, I’ve had better from Lidl. Chips were microwave type chips and sauce was a dirty brown tasteless liquid. Worst meal I’ve had anywhere.

Sadly other guests combined with an uncomfortable mattress made for 3 very poor nights sleep. The spa is acceptable with reasonable prices. Decor throughout could do with updating and attention to detail.

Hotel was in a picturesque area, rooms were clean, with a mini fridge that had complementary refreshments and snacks. Pool area was lovely, Food in the restaurant was delicious. A better class of choice, reflected in the price.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Traditional style well preserved throughout. I loved the carpentry in the entire place. The room was big, clean and with comfy bed and bedsheets. The bathroom modern and clean. Free Wi-Fi. We wanted just a few hours sleep; but ended waking up 7am in the morning totally rested and ready for continuing our trip. We totally recommend it. We couldn't try breakfast or walk around, but the hotel has areas to sit down outside and gardens.

Nice hotel. Booked spa weekend but wasn't told at time of booking that half the spa was shut! Gave feedback and was told manager would be in touch but no contact. On the plus side restaurant is lovely-food was great.

Absolutely disappointed, there was a powercut which led for the electric to be off for nearly 2hours which led to no hot water for a shower no hot breakfast and no tea or coffee, receptionist promised some kid off refund, rung up next day to get back some kind of a refund for the room and breakfast which I payed £20 for and received nothing, for such a high profile chain this is awful.

Went to Clumber Park hotel for a spa package for my best mates hen do and can honestly say they excelled themselves! Every member of staff from reception, catering and beauty were fantastic and made us all feel extremely welcome and accommodated a lot of our specific, fussy needs without it feeling like it was an issue. I would highly recommend this place for a function like we had. The private suite was perfect, the treatments were great but it was all topped off by staff that actually cared about us having a good time. Thank you to all at Clumber Park Hotel for your hospitality. It was a blast! We will be back (prob need to warn the rest of guests thou next time) xx.

Ok Attended a convention there. Oozes the desire to be top notch and is obviously working hard to achieve that reputation. They will get there but at present I thought their pricing exceeded their current service level.

As a member of this lovely spa always find it a relaxing couple of hours in the day. Had a back massage yesterday with Rachael she was excellent if you have any tension knots that girl can find them. All the staff are lovely 10/10.

Fantastic service. We arrived slightly early and the room wasn't ready, so we got upgraded for free. Lovely restaurant, food was fantastic. Bar staff were friendly.

We have children and do not get much chance to get away without them and, having organised babysitters we booked the Clumber Park hotel for its Spar facilities especially the pool (as we are both swimmers) for the night of the 9th Feb 2018. We arrived at the hotel and were welcomed by lovely, friendly staff and a beautiful hotel. Unfortunately, on entering the room we were overwhelmed by the heat and I switched off the radiator and opened the windows immediately. We then found someones dirty boxer shorts in the bottom of the wardrobe (which made me question the cleanness of the room) there was also dried on toothpaste on the sink in the bathroom. We grabbed our costumes and went down to the spar hoping that the room temperature would drop while we were gone. Once at the spar we were informed by a member of staff that the pool heater had broken and that the pool was at a lower than normal temperature and that it was more like a leisure centre pool temperature. The pool was empty so we gave it a go (we are both swimmers and our children competition swim and the pool was the same temperature as a 50m pool not a leisure centre pool). If we had been informed of this on booking in we would not have stayed as we were at the hotel because of the pool. We left the spar quite disappointed.

Stayed here for a meeting in the locality. Overall good. The room I stayed in was average (unfortunately next to road). The staff are helpful and service is good.

We arrived at 10am was met at the spa reception by Maria, she was so lovely and helpful the treatments (hot stone back massage) we checked in early the rooms where spacious clean and nicely decorated the breakfast was really nice the only bad thing was the bar was expensive I would definitely recommend this lovely place.

We did not have a good experience here, unfortunately. We went for afternoon tea, having been assured they could cater for me (a coeliac). The room we ate in was not pleasant, more like a big hall with tables in it, and wasn't a nice environment for a cosy tea for two. The food my husband had was not great but our real gripe is with mine. I had 3 sandwiches, 2 scones and 2 pieces of shop-bought (or so it seemed) brownie. One of my scones was identical to my husbands (ie not gluten free) so I asked for it to be changed. The scones I could eat were horrible — they literally disintegrated into powder and tasted unpleasant. We ate what we could and left pretty sharpish. The only reason I've given 2 stars is the waiting staff who were doing the best job they could. I honestly will never go there again and wouldn't recommend it based on our experience.

Stayed here on a spa experience with friends. The decor is a little tired but the evening meal was great. We all chose different meals, duck, chicken, steak and we all enjoyed them tremendously. Breakfast really good too. Great value for the price.

Really lovely hotel, clean modern and comfy. Staff service was excellent and main reason I would give 4 stars. The spa is lovely but be warned if you have children, they can only go in between 4 and 6pm. Even of you are an overnight guest they have no times for children to swim in the morning which was a great shame and disappointment but if you go knowing this it's not too bad!

Fantastic hotel with good facilities and very friendly staff. Good additional party facilities and catering. Across the road is the beautiful Clumber Park National Trust Park with great walks and beautiful scenery and gardens.

Absolute shambles from the minute we got there. Upon arrival we got asked to pay even though we had already paid. The ‘heated pool’ in the spa was freezing, they had issues with maintenance but wasn’t informed of this when we checked in, we waited an hour and half for food and we couldn’t have robes because we wasn’t having treatments until the next day so we had to walk through the hotel with towels around us baring in mind we paid to stay overnight. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. The manager is the spa needs a lesson in how to speak to not only customers but staff. Absolute nightmare. Currently on our way home and for sure we won’t be ever coming back. A formal complaint is definitely going in. We paid to sit in the room all night. From start to finish, a nightmare experience.

Fantastic stay as always. Lovely location for walking and nice spa for relaxation. The spa facilities are limited but enough for us. We had a delicious meal in The Normanton with plenty of choice on the menu. Comfy bed and quiet room for a good nights sleep and a yummy cooked breakfast in the morning. I am sure we will be back soon.

Stayed as overnight guest, room very comfortable, bath in bathroom, free mini bar with soft drinks and snacks. Excellent spa and gym, some equipment could do with updating but overall nice selection of equipment. Staff really friendly and helpful, lovely pool area with nice sauna, steam and jacuzzi. Tasty breakfast with nice selection of food. Overall reasonably priced, excellent hotel will definitely stay again. Highly recommended. Well done.

Hotel room clean, staff were friendly but the overall feel of the hotel was tired. Flaking paint in a lot of places, even though some areas had been recently painted there were loads of paint splats that had not been removed all over the Windows in the dining area. Food was okay, bread stale. Gin menu but not served in gin glasses or no effort made with drink. Went for breakfast at half 9 when it closes at 10, not much left. Coffee and tea were served in the smallest of pots. Can't use the swimming pool after 11 which is check out time, which we didn't realise. Seems a bit excessive for a 4 star Hotel. Would not go back or recommend it. I'm sure it's great venue for a works doo.

Good value for money on a spa package. Spa is small but has everything. In cold weather, outdoor hot tub was not really hot! Massage was very good, nice decor in treatment area. Restaurant service and food was a bit of a let down. Good gin menu but food failed to impress and service a little haywire. Overall, nice stay.

Overall an excellent stay. Rooms are decent value for money. The hotel restaurant and bar are very cosy and serve an excellent array of gin cocktails. Breakfast portions are not huge but tasty and what is lacking quantity can be made up from the extra self service buffet. (The blueberry muffins from which are superb). The service from the staff is very good also. The outdoor hot tub is must but the spa does get busy over the weekends. A few minor faults… one evening we had no hot water to shower and the fire alarm went off during the day.

Had superior room. Good size, comfortable beds, clean, good facilities. Made use of spa facilities. Decent sized pool, sauna and steam room. Hot tub outside small and not enough water in it. Also had a facial and massage which were great! Good food in restaurant and spa cafe but had to wait 50 minutes for dinner in evening had booked for it. Complained to staff who were very apologetic and helpful. Saw manager who also apologised, so happy with results of complaint.

4 if us visited Clumber Park and choose the Girls Night In package for one of my best friends 30th birthdays, it was brilliant from start to finish. The spa pool could be bigger and have more than 1 jacuzzi’s outside but it didn’t put a dampener on our day.
We opted for the Tea wrap which was very relaxing.
The clumber room was a fantastic space which we chilled out in later on the night and had a bit of a slumber party.
The courtyard restaurant food was delicious as well as being reasonably priced. The breakfast and afternoon tea where also lovely.
Clumber Park is somewhere I would definitely visit again!

Supposed to be a posh hotel but desperately in need of redecorating. Restaurant serves decent food but the menu is not massive. Probably would pick the Lion Hotel in the town centre if I had to pay myself.

Friendly staff. Rooms not amazing. 4 poster room better than the others. Decor main reception is nice. Had a facial which was the worst I'd ever had. Rushed in rushed out and facial was fast and hurried. A facial should be slow relaxing and include ears neck and shoulders. It was so bad we cancelled the massages. I can't say the therapist was friendly either maybe not the job for her? I was made to wait till she had finished all her cleaning. We booked a table for 7.30 then was told no tables free. Ate our main dinner in the reception area. The manager was lovely however and if it hadn't have been for him being so nice we would have left. I dislike cleaning of breakfast tables whilst guests are eating as you can taste the spray they pump on the tables. That needs to stop along with the loud clearing of plates at breakfast. Food was good. Would we go back? No I'm afraid we wouldn't. Reception staff were lovely though and sort out what they can best do for you. A few people checked out whilst we ate dinner. Shame this place could be amazing with a few adjustments here and there and correct staff training. It's expensive at 115.00 a night and in my opinion a 3 star rating not a 4.

Not to impressed with a superior room. Furniture scratched and worn. Towels had an unpleasant smell of old treatment oil. Bedding had what looked like black mascara or ink stains on. Robe had black stains on sleeve. Yellow stains on cushions on the bed. Mould on windows. Needs attention to detail. Over priced. Carpet stains throughout hotel. Room not ready when we arrived. . Service slow in garden Room waited 20 mins for a tea cake. Treatments felt rushed and wrong details on signing the medical forms after treatments. Was there for my 50th birthday but it didn't feel special. Didn't feel as though staff were very accomodating just there to do a job. Don't think I will be returning.

Just had a weekend at the Hotel whilst rooms are becoming in need of some attention we had a very enjoyable time, Food in Restaurant and at Breakfast was good, Spa area excellent, Staff Professional Helpfull and Friendly. Hotel is good value for money and in a great Location look forward to returning: Chris & Derrick Hartburn Stockton.

Setting lovely next to Clumber park. Rooms comfortable though rather warm (a fan is provided). Pool and spa facilities good, especially the hot tub outside.

Friendly staff, good rooms (including complimentary goodies in our family room — mileage may vary here). Breakfasts deserve a special mention, would've liked to have stayed longer to try more of them, delicious! Small point, the signage / hotel name leading from the car park needs some attention — in fact it was pretty much missing.

I like Clumber Park Hotel for the trails close to the hotel, I enjoy a walking are a nice cycyle ride. The facilities are good (Swimming pool, steam room, hot tub, bar with TV). Food is usually pretty decent and the room is always clean with a comfortable bed.

Came to stay for two nights mainly to visit Cresswell Crags, walking and to enjoy the spa. Had a great time, the hotel evening meal was good the breakfast excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The spa has a lovely 15 metre pool, steam room sauna and hot tub.

Lovely relaxing place. Food great, rooms spacious enough. The staff are the making of this place, friendly, efficient and obviously well trained especially in the restaurant.

Very nice location with good parking facilities. The room was decent however smelt s bit funny. The hotel however where very nice to cater for my request of a late meal as I am fasting although they close their service by that time.

Set in beautiful location, handily a short distance from Worksop and near the main roads. Rooms where well appointed and the Spa facilities where nice. Wifi coverage was good but the internet speed was very poor making working remotely a real challenge. Vodafone coverage was none existant in the hotel. Food was very nice.

The hotel is nice the food was nice and the spa was nice. But we paid £165 for a 4 bed room for my wife 2 kids and myself which was basic. We had 2 kids meals and 2 mains. 2 pints of cider and 2 glasses of wine. And a coke and lemonade which came to £78. We also booked our table for 7 30 and had still not got a drink at 7 50. Nice hotel but overpriced.

The hotel is nice, recently (ish) refurbished and generally clean. The spa has a good gym and a small but OK pool. The breakfast was pretty poor and there was fridge in the room. Clumber park is very close and convenient. But the staff could not give recommendations for dinner (try the Elm Tree pub about 15 minutes drive away).

Walked to the hotel from Clumber Park on Mothering Sunday, refused a table in the bar as we had not booked. About 6 tables occupied the remaining 8 or so were set for lunch or tea. No one came in while what a drink in the bar. We could have eaten in the bar area. Not very welcoming. We'll not go back again.

1st visit. Lovely staff. Great service. Food was of high quality. Would recommend.

Was OK. The function room was a little rough around the edges and Wi-Fi was very poor, however the staff were friendly.

Wasn't worth the money paid. Staff were friendly enough. Very poor phone reception, which wasn't mentioned in any way prior to arriving, and when you have a loved one in hospital and need to be accessable 24/7 It was quite worrying. All in all a very average weekend stay 2/5
