So, my room… bathroom light flickers for at least 10mins. No bathtub. No mirror in room that you can sit at to do makeup. The blind is broken and won't roll down. The aircon /heating doesn't work. Windows don't open wide enough to compensate for like of aircon. There is no remote control to work the tele. The desk doesn't have a light and is too dark to work at as the room has no main / central light. No telephone to contact reception. Two night stay and the coffee sachets were not topped up.
Spoke to reception on first night — apparently fully booked so couldn't give me a different room, but said would sort bathroom light and remote control next morning, but they didn't. No offer of recompense! The hotel in general…
Breakfast — restaurant too hot, wouldn't open doors (did evening before when I was having dinner), apparently the breakfast buffet will get cold — disappointed especially with COVID still around and ventilation being so important. No Nutella for toast / croissants. Limited cereals — no coco-pops, porridge or granola. Couldn't soft boil an egg. No bananas. Lots of signs around hotel to sanitise hands, but most dispensers had nothing in them. The pool and gym — no signs to help find it. Lots of Steps to get to pool from changing room. Sign in pool area to dry off before returning to changing room, but nothing in changing room to advise to take towel with you. Pool too warm to swim / train, no cold shower for after the sauna or steam room.

The hotel was of a good standard. Breakfast was very good and helpful staff.

We stayed here in 10th December 1988 for our wedding night best hotel in Nottingham so we was delighted when our daughter booked us a night here for my husband birthday very disappointed our room was very small could hardly move in the restaurant we was ignored by staff when waiting to be seated at a table and food wasn’t brilliant steak and gammon very tough hard to cut and at breakfast the sausages and bacon seemed as if it had been reheated but good points room was very neat and clean great TV bed big and comfortable very inviting also a member of your staff called John who we have known for over 30 years really looked after us well.

Good hotel for the price. Beds were comfy, breakfast was plentifull and delicious. Staff were very friendly. I would like to personally thank Lukas for making my family's experience so exceptional. He is very kind and a hardworker. When I travel back to Nottingham, I will stay here to see Lukas, and enjoy the comfy beds!

Stayed for business. Excellent location, lovely restaurant and food. Staff very good. Will definitely stay there again.

Very well located for shops, restaurants. Comfortable and efficient. Pleasant breakfasts. Good location if you are having to visit University Hospital. Ample parking. Recommended.

This is an older hotel block that's had a makeover. Decor is contemporary but the rooms are small. Friendly front of house staff who did their best. Adequate parking, don't limited security. There is a small pool, gym and restaurant. We didn't eat there but wish we'd tried it as the pub across the road unfortunately offered badly cooked prefabricated food presented by friendly but fairly hopeless staff. Not a great night at the hotel. Poor soundproofing means noises through the walls (TVs. Mobile phone conversations) and noisy plumbing from the floor above. Quite a LP of late night activity in the corridor Friday night. I'm not a picky reviewer normally but this stay was no better than OK.

One of the few hotels in Nottingham with an A/C, not very fancy but very cost effective if you are staying here for long time and your prefer hotels. Staff are very friendly and helpful with things inside and around the hotel, they would do anything to please the guest. The negatives in my opinion are the lobby is a bit small and when it's busy it gets loud and really hard to hear whom ever you are talking too, the wall paints in my room looks a bit outdated.

Nice hotel, good price. Was within walking distance of city centre (about half hour) or cheap taxi if you're feeling lazy. Asked for additional pillows and they were brought up quickly from reception which was great. Only qualm was that one towel was provided for a double bed room, it was only replaced with one as well which was strange.

Staying here for 4 nights. Nice to see Asian staff at the reception. Room is really clean and spacious. Enjoying my stay here.

Good value deals to be had. Gym n pool small but OK. Highlight is the breakfast, John and team do the best one ever full range naughty and nice foods.

Car park tiny, double rooms are tiny, a superior is basically a double? Breakfast needs improving — no fried eggs, Pool not working for the past 3-days… Staff are ok, room keys are super sensitive to mobiles… But there is a pub across the road, with cheap drinks… double JD+coke, change from £5…

Clean, double room with decent amount of space for the price so very pleased. Everything you'd need for a short stay including iron + board, laundry & dry cleaning services, TV with free view and radio and even a personal safe which was a nice addition. Parking was convenient and easily accessible from the entrance and included in the price and looked to be covered by CCTV cameras. The bar and menu were reasonably priced. Others within our party made use of the gym facilities and said they were happy with the facilities and services offered. Public transport was easy enough to access and private hire to and from the city centre was reasonably priced. Overall a pleasant stay.

Staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Rooms were clean and do was the bathroom. It was also really quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

I and most of my family stayed here from 25 December 2017 to 26 January 2018. Arrived in the evening having travelled from Western Australia. We were very weary and although we had liaised with the hotel over many months we were alarmed that reception had not anticipated our party of 8 arrival. The person on reception that evening was totally lacking in customer service skills and we were very disheartened! The rooms were very tired looking with grubby carpeting and well worn and dirty drapes. However we were grateful that the bathrooms were o. K and beds were comfortable. Having said all this we were extremely impressed with all other staff who were courteous and professional and engaging. The breakfast was great and set us up for each day we were in the U. K. Pool was a great bonus although too much chlorine!

I stayed for one night for a work meeting. The venue was comfortable, the food was good and staff were friendly and helpful so all in all a good trip. One minor point: the soap dispensers are not particularly well designed and a lot of it can end up on the floor, true for both dispensers in the rooms and also the communal bathrooms.

Very nice place. Havent stayed overnight for the full experience but was great for a work event I attended a while back. The staff were very friendly and had set up the room professionally. No job was too big for them. They helped with peoples parking and questions and greeted clients with directions of where to go and where to get refreshments.

Just outside the city centre with access on foot, tram, bus or driving. Parking available. Many conference rooms available. Helpful friendly staff. Building and reception are very nice. Corridors and stairs are a bit old fashioned.

Great place to stay easy walking access to city centre. Several eateries within a minutes walk from the hotel too. I recommend The Cod and Scallops Fine fish and chips restaurant across from the hotel. Great food fast service and great ambience.

The reception staff were polite and helpful. I know this is a budget hotel but the mattress was absolutely shocking… The one in the second room I was allocated was slightly better than the first! I work away alot and wouldn't choose to stay in a park Inn again because of this. You could feel the springs… Awful! The pillows were sub standard… Much better at travelodge/premier Inn and best western. Saving grace is that the staff I've encountered so far have been helpful.

Nice and clean hotel. I had issue with room warm but they took a day to correct it. Breakfast could have improved little bit more. Small things but overall the place is excellent.

Comfortable apart from the rooms near the boilers, impossible to sleep looks like a dinosaur that snores.

I attended to do some market research. Easy to park, reception staff were helpful. Areas of the hotel I saw were clean and well furnished.

Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. If you go to get a meal, the food is not consistent, the first day I had dinner the food was great, but, on the second day although we ordered the same thing it looked completely different and tasted different and not in a good way, when we asked why the reason was was 'well it's a different chef's then they walked off! Almost like well love with it. Other than that all was good.

Worlds smallest room and worlds smallest bed! Won’t be staying again. Also there was minimal toilet paper and no spare so it ran out in middle of night, same for our friends in next room. Breakfast wasn’t great and the hot food had mostly run out at 9am when we tried to eat. A friend booked this for us all and felt really bad, especially as it was nearly £120 for the ‘room’. I’ve stayed in many double rooms and never seen one so small. Feel ripped off.

Like all hotels in this chain, very well within the functional. No frills. Very clean, good deal, very good breakfast.

I attended a meeting at the inn and was impressed by the clean, smart building and interior, with friendly staff and great food. The room we were in had great views and was very spacious. I haven't stayed here so I can't say if the rooms and facilities are good, but for meetings it is a great venue to use.

Stayed here lots of times. It's a bit dated but we'll positioned with great facilities. Often available at good prices on comparison sites — if I was reviewing at standard rates I would rate as 3 stars.

The noise and bass vibrations from a function downstairs kept the whole family awake at night. The rooms could have been cleaner on arrival and the TV remote was missing a battery. Breakfast was disappointing. Although they say they do a Vegetarian cooked breakfast, they didn't have anything in stock other than eggs. Every member of staff we spoke to were very polite, friendly and helpful. But unfortunately because of the above we won't be staying here again.

Attended an event in the hotel. Great location on a main road into Nottingham, near the goose fair ground. Reception were polite and helpful in directing me towards the car registration machine for parking. The meeting room was well furnished, however did get a bit stuffy after a few hours due to an issue with the air con. Bar facilities seemed good, however service was slow in my experience. I'm inclined to forgive this, however, as this was likely due to the influx of patrons from the meeting breaking the mid-afternoon lull in customers. In general, I would recommend The Park Inn.

A very nice place to stay! I visited Nottingham with friends for a gig and we decided to stay here as the price was very good indeed! The rooms were very nice — clean and large enough for 2 to share. The bathroom was also nice and big with a very good shower too! We chose the breakfast option and it was well worth it — a cooked 'full English' buffet, cereals, continental and fruit options with tea, coffee and various juices seemed to satisfy everyone. Highly recommended to all!

Lindsey the revenue manager (I think thats her title), fantastic! If you are staying here she is the one to speak to, had few issues with the company I booked through, she was straight on the phone, kept me updated throughout the whole process and ended up saving me a hell of a lot time!

Good breakfast, however room had not been properly cleaned (bin not emptied, items from previous occupant not disposed of). Though overall, decent hotel with friendly and helpful staff.

The gym is nice and friendly, if a little small. Can get busy, but good value.

We stay here a lot. The staff have always been very friendly and the rooms clean. We had our 13 year old son last weekend and they upgraded the room and supplied the extra bed free. Easy access to the city either a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute bus ride. Great pubs on the walk into the City.

Unhelpful staff from the time of booking to uncomfortable beds, noisy heating, faulty sockets and a shower that requires goggles, not to mention drunk 'guests' shouting past our door at 2.30 in the morning. I can think I can safely say we won't be coming here again. Shame really, the Bedford venue was excellent on our previous stay.

Nice, clean, very helpful staff and great service. Decent breakfast included in what was a very good price on the advance deal (less than £60). Air con in room didn't work to heat the room, only cool. I'm sure this would have been sorted but it was late when I arrived and I couldn't be bothered going back to reception and asking. A little noisy but nothing that kept me awake.

Hotel super easy. With just enough to be comfortable. The room is very small. To spend a night or two for business or to rest without more. The cleaning could be improved, and the restaurant very poor. The area is not easy to park, although parking is available in at hotel.

This place actually improved as the day went on but the staff at check in were as useful as a chocolate tea pot. Clifton must be singled out for his total ineptness and behaving like a rabbit in the headlights, unable to process each person in fewer than 20 minutes despite being warned with plenty of notice. Rooms are basic and pretty dismal. Night manager excellent and lady at the bar was great too, however come the morning the hopeless woman was back on reception and managed to cancel a pre-ordered taxi resulting in a scramble for the train. Not an enjoyable experience!

Very average. Nothing wrong, but bland, boring and aging. Ok to spend the night, but don't expect much.

Excellent room. Had room backing onto rear car park. Did not hear a noise. Clean rooms bathroom looks great. Shower is excellent. Restaurant food was very good and breakfast the same. Bar is a bit expensive but stayed open until we went to bed. Friendly bar staff even asked if we would like some left over food from the function room. To top it off a pool, sauna, jacuzzi, gym and pool table. There was even an xbox 360. Would stay again!

Couldn't wait to leave. Cold food. Hard bed. Poor cleaning. Rude staff at the bar. Toilet seat broke. Didnt bring tows. Drinks rip off £4 for a coke. Beer was flat. Smell of piss down stair. Can't see out of windows as there dirty. Fan in the bath doesn't work.

Great breakfast to start with. Spacy room, friendly staff, good place to chill out at the pool, sauna, steam room or gym if you want to get away from everydays worries! Helped me for 3 days! Noisy? Not that much. Depends on the meaning of noisy! There is some background noise at the back rooms from some fans working but I can bare with that. You can also close the window and turn on the air con. Great en suite! Free Wi-Fi and free parking! Don't forget to register your can at the reception tablet, takes only 2 seconds! Cons: No mini bar.

Lovely room, bathroom, breakfast and staff. Missed out on 5 stars as the walls are rather thin and tends to be loud and raucous on Saturday night.

Very impressive and friendly staff always willing to attend to your needs. A very good breakfast to add.

The room for both of us was fine. Yes Mansfield Road is very busy but if noise is an issue (which it wasn`t for us) then you can close the window and use the air conditioning unit to keep cool (which wasn`t noisy). The accommodation was clean and everything worked. The bed was also very comfy. The staff were very attentive and helpful and we had dinner on the first night which was excellent. The breakfasts for our weekend stay were substantial and a really fine choice of hot and cold food. Again service was very good which for a hotel of this size is gratifying. There was a swimming pool and spa pool, sauna and steam room as well as a gym. Made use of all facilities and it was most enjoyable. I would certainly recommend the hotel. There were a number of parties staying over for hen and stagg do`s but they certainly didn`t keep me awake. The Park Hotel is well worth a stay and the bus services from outside run every few minutes into town. The Grosvenor pub across the road is also well worth having a pint in and they serve reasonably priced food too.

Accommodation ok but van window smashed in car park and items stolen.

Spacious room but dated and tired. Furniture has seen better days and also the carpet. Room noisy as large fans outside (that are running 24/7), this will apply to all rooms on the back of the hotel. Overall this hotel is very tired and shabby in room and public places. Would not stay here again.

I need information about prices.

The price were ok but I was very disappointed with the location distance from the main town. They said 1 mile from city centre which is a lie its a long way from the train station about 40mins drive.

Most unhelpful attitude. I called the hotel to request a change of date for my stay as an event that I was attending had to change the date. I called the booking company to explain and they advised that this would be fine. This was 1 month before my booking but the hotel staff advised even though there was availability they could not make the change due to the site I had booked the stay under. "Computer says no" attitude.

We stayed at this hotel twice in one week, the first time was on a Friday and the second on a Monday. We found this to be an excellent hotel, very smart and comfortable rooms (recently decorated). Very friendly and effecient staff at all levels. Great bar serving even after midnight without hesitation. Excellent breakfast and free newspapers. Gym and pool a little small but adequate. Secure parking and close to City Centre. Fantastic value all things considered. Would return and have no hesitation in recommending to others.
