A beautiful place. Friendly staff, and immaculately clean.

Best food I have had in a while. Enormous steak, not for the faint of heart but tasty and so tender. Well worth the money.

It's beautiful, I was killed on the stairs, because our room was too high. Very good service. We did not use the restaurant services because the prices were a little high for our budget.

We had a great stay at the French partridge. A lovely small hotel. Food was great. Good service. We would go back again.

A small hotel with loads of charm. Forgive the lack of "Slickness" because this place is a "home from home" with a dash of loveliness… Beauty on Reception is really great!

Lovely place! We stayed in a great room and staff very friendly! Only thing was the TV in our room, we had a wonderful room with a big free standing bath and massive lovely bed however in the room was a small black TV on a black little stand with wires running across the floor, it really didnt fit in with the style of the room or the boutique feel! If u both lay on the bed to couldn't see the TV properly either, I don't understand why the TV wasn't slightly bigger and just put on the wall? That would make all the difference! Other than that it was lovely place. Xx.

Very pleasant staff. Lovely rooms with all the little extras. Squeaky floor boards that go with an old house. Very nice dinner, huge steak. Very tasty. Food a bit pricey but totally worth it.

Was good but a bad smell from the drain made the second week unpleasant but the food is good.

Fantastic service from Ayobami, he was extremely polite and hospitable, he cooked us a very nice breakfast and would return again solely due to him. Thank you very much.

Dated needs some upgrading especially the plumbing and noise after every flush in the CAMPION… oh and got locked into the bathroom and the Chef and Waiter had to break the door down to let me out BUT the very same Chef and Waiter gave me AND my Partner SERIEN the Best Ever Meal in the Restaurant the Night Before… Really Great Food! Would stay here again because it was Extraordinary Elegance! Steeped in History!

Lovely looking place from the outside but lacks the finishing touches inside could do with a makeover especially the abundance of white paint but it has good points, dinner was surprisingly good as we're all the staff, nice room with all the usual things, has the potential to do really well if more thought went into the decor, bar is very disappointing, completely lacking any style or atmosphere and no draught beer, it is a bit remote.

Beautiful building, we had family room suite which was amazing spot on with that, minor problem with the shower was blocked and smelly! The only negative was the service at breakfast and the breakfast itself after seating ourselves no staff member was seen for around 5 mins after getting ourselves drinks we asked for a breakfast menu staff member came with a breakfast template and cook our orders the breakfast came out wrong and it looked and tasted like very cheap and burnt not worth the money from your room doesn't include breakfast, lunch I think they should introduce more simple things like sanwhiches instead of paella, seabass etc…

Lovey, clean, very spacious family room. We were shown to our room when we arrived by a very helpful and polite lady. We had a lovely stay and would defiantly return, Would of happily stayed longer and breakfast was delicious.

Fabulous I stayed their in Monday with my 4 month old son and my boyfriend, night staff are very polite and breakfast was delicious plus I loved my room very clean and beautiful I recommend x.

Our party had an awful experience here a couple of weeks ago. The food was very poor and the service was dreadful. When we politely complained the owner said we were only trying to get a refund and told us we had no justification. But we had not asked for a refund so why did he mention tit.

Beautiful old Hotel. Food was delicious and the service was excellent.
