Fantastic bar staff very friendly.

Booked a room here to attend a party in the town and drink with not have to worry about driving/taxi/getting home.
Clean & comfortable rooms with everything you need… and quiet, which I didn't expect staying at a pub.
Very hospitable and friendly landlady/staff.
Would definitely stay again/recommend if needed to.

Had a really great time staying here. The room was very clean and comfortable and had everything you needed. Lovely staff and Janice cant do enough for you, great friendly customers too. What a great night will be visiting again soon.

If you like a friendly, down to earth pub atmosphere then this is the place to stay. My Husband and I booked in for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The rooms are spot on and the Landlady along with Staff couldn't be more obliging. Will stay again.

Very basic accommodation. Cheap, bed actually comfortable but bathroom tiny. Some reasonable places to eat nearby. Carpark space very limited, was blocked in when leaving in the morning. Staff friendly. Unlikely to stay again, not my kind of place.

We had a great New Years Eve here & a family gathering a few nights before too.

Love the place! Nice food and good pull beer. The staff and locals were all very friendly. Made us feel like we were home.

The room was cosy, but there was a lot of noise from the pub below until very late at night.

Brought back memories of 40 years ago. Much improved over the years with a well kept pint and a decent selection of food.
Still has the skittle table too.

Friendly service with a very comfortable room for the price. I will be back soon and hopefully won't have to leave before Breakfast. Sky Sports a bonus.

Lovely food always a welcome when you go in there.

Good budget room. Heating was not on during the night but I like it cold so didn't bother me. Quiet during the night with no road noise. Plenty of tea and coffee with biscuits added in.

I am shocked at the treatment of the customers by this disgusting rude landlady and family. Disgusting behavior from staff and shouldn't be able to hold a license. The two younger males or her sons even became violent towards a poor female customer. This pub needs reporting. Avoid like the plague.

The manager Sue was incredibly rude and dishonest. She saw my booking on paper and referred me to the next town over, saying "This is a pub, not a hotel. " No Wi-Fi as advertised, dirty rooms, cold, drafty, small. Manager agreed to rebook us for the following day, then invoiced us anyway. Now going to trading standards. A total nightmare. No food available as advertised either.

Not a welcoming feeling. Would not recommend to anyway.
