Had a beautiful take away Sunday Carvery today. Ready when I arrived and all still hot when I dished up at home. Everything was really tasty especially the beef and the red cabbage. My husband rarely gives 10 out of 10 but he made an exception here. Currently no kitchen in place so very happy this was available to us.

First class service, been here a couple of times. Food (pre Covid) was fab, reasonably priced as are the drinks. Mid Covid, booked a room. Stunning room, made all the better and safer by contactless check in, food was made available to order and dropped at your door which also included drinks. As a frequent traveller to Corby, bar far the best hotel compared to the big chains (cheaper too) will be back.

We had a couple of your takeaway/carvery roasts today. It was fantastic. Good portion sized also cooked brilliantly. We shall definitely be having one again next week thankyou.

Massive hair in sandwich. No ice. Over an hour for mediocre food and some of the food missing. Shocking service. Cleared own tables. Never go back. Shocking.

Took my little girl for afternoon tea today. It was absolutely delicious thankyou so much and the service was excellent. Definitely will be back xxx.

Had a lovely family meal, really reasonable priced too. Lovely surroundings to enjoy a meal afternoon tea or just a drink.

What an amazing venue for an Event. We used the Raven function hall for our Annual award ceremony for our cheer and tumble club and what a beauty it was. The staff were extremely accommodating allowing set up time not to mention helping with the process. Very polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect place for Sunday lunch, even though we had not booked we were accommodated. Food was excellent as always.

I was stood up here, I was livid! But there was a GENUINE reason, a literal death in the family, I can't be bad about that. Alcohol is massively overpriced, staff seem pleasant. Avoid when the football is on.

Went here for afternoon tea and I cannot recommend it highly enough! The sandwiches were well filled and the selection of handmade cakes were fantastic! The staff are incredibly helpful. Very patient with toddlers running around and creating havoc lol.

Great location. The staff were attentive and friendly but a bit rushed off their feet as it was very busy. We had afternoon tea and it was good. Fair choice of sandwiches — tuna, ham, egg, and cheese. Great choice of cakes (although some of the slices were too big to fit on the cake stand! Would have preferred a wider choice of small cakes) and scones with jam and clotted cream.

Service was quick and friendly. Food reasonably priced. Enjoyed the pie and a burger. Overall it's a nice place to eat for a reasonable amount of money. Decent pub grub.

Cheap but you get what you pay for. I didnt realise you share 2 bathrooms with all the other guests. The bathrooms are very clean and modern but the rooms and hotel itself are dated. Beds were comfy and have a sink in the room.

Came here today for a lovely cream tea for two with my mother-in-law and what a pleasant afternoon it was, cream tea was lush but there was enough there to do three of us… so we couldn’t eat it all… but they did bring us a box to take the remainder of cakes back home with us… would defo be back…

Rooms are quite good, very clean and quite nice. The only bad point is that the Restaurant closes at 10pm but I guess you can live with that.

Was here for a wedding reception, great venue and staff. Both the public house and function room are stunning, with good accommodation for guests available upstairs.

Christmas meal was delicious. Vegetable soup and warm bread. Buffet lunch with goats cheese and onion flan as vegetarian option. Staff friendly and efficient. Room was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Chandeliers reflected the decorations and the lovely Christmas tree. Entertainment was good with the singer.

Birthday celebration: From the moment we entered the building, we received the highest standard of service. Staff were welcoming and very attentive — nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed pre drinks by the fireside.

The event I attended was awake from my mother following the families recent bereavement. The Raven staff were great. Really helpful in planning the event giving a clear indication of costs and options and on the day the staff were all lovely and the Venue prepared as we had agreed. I highly recommend The Raven Hotel. The whole is an excellent venue, it was great for our week but it would be great also for weddings parties etc.

I was here last night for my christmas works party. The staff were lovely & pleasant, however the food I had last night was appauling. The portions were small and cold. The John Barrows band were okay though.

An aesthetically pleasing and the staff r very helpful. Unfortunately the Christmas dinner I had there a few weeks ago, was not up to par with the rest of the place. A great evening with the John barrows band. The was a let down though.

1st time visiting the restaurant and we were very pleasantly surprised. Small menu but everything cooked perfectly. Would definitely recommend it.

Stayed here last night! On arrival the bar/restaurant looked lovely, so was very hopeful about the room.
I’d booked two rooms, after a little bite to eat & a few drinks we went up to our room! I was aware of the shared bathroom/shower before, but as we were only staying for one night I wasn’t too fussed about that.
Walked in to our room & wow, it looked like a hostel, stains on the curtains & carpets! The curtains were two different colours.
Some of our other friends had stayed in the upgraded rooms with the on suite bathroom & said it was lovely,
Seriously think they need to upgrade the other rooms. Bedding was clean, but the actual room was dirty! Would not stay again.

Stayed the night and it was good, friendly staff especially James. Room was cold but got a free breakfast as a result. Looking at some of the other reviews I would say that some spoilt brats are about. I would recommend this place and stay again. Can't complain about a cheap sausage when it £4.95 for breakfast? The rest of it was very very good.

Came in for drinks — bar staff were quick and friendly. Drinks well priced and great selection.

Food was so lovely, I had a medium rare rump steak and it just melted in your mouth, chips are amazingly cooked and nice home made taste. My boyfriend had the chorizo chicken burger which he really enjoyed. The onion rings were huge and very crispy and tasty.

This place was like staying in a hostel. Rooms are basic and you have to share a shower and toilet with the rest of the other rooms. At £50 it is a rip off! Stick with the Premier Inn, at least it is cheaper and you even get the luxury of an en suite bathroom.

Looking at the reviews some said it was good for money others said it was dirty and no good. Me and my partner decided to go for one night for a change of scene. We went this sat night just gone… no advertisements about shared bathrooms and showers wasn't impressed. Some showers where awful but I found one that was ok. We added a cooked breakfast. It was nothing special cheap sausage and bacon rashers again nothing special I could of make better myself. And as for the room due to there being a wedding on they where fully booked so they couldn't upgrade us. Our room looked like a hostel room drab, dirty carpets, plain and dull very un inviting. Very basic and on top of that we got charged £78 we could of stayed at the Marriott for that price and inc bed and breakfast should of come to £60. Having to send a bank statement as been over charged! Won't stay here again.

Afternoon tea is certainly a must! Lovely food, good service and excellent value. A real treat not to be missed.

I received a very warm welcome when I arrived, however I was a little disappointed with the room. Clearly no-one had attended to the tea/coffee-making tray, as there was no cup & saucer to drink from, together with two empty milk cartons left by the previous guest, two empty coffee sachets, a dirty teaspoon & no biscuit. The room itself seemed shabby in places, with bits of damaged furniture present & utterly awful stained curtain linings. I felt a bit mislead into thinking a cooked breakfast was included in the price of the room, being told on arrival it was £4.95 extra. So whilst the initial impression was great, the final impression was less so : — (

Great service, friendly bar staff. Did not eat here but they have Brewdog Punk IPA on draft and that is the main reason for our visit, and it was very very good. Would definitely revisit.

Me and my partner haven't been to the raven for dinner in a while, we won't be returning! The main menu has changed not sure when, you used to have a better selection and the food was worth 5 stars, tonight we were very disappointed, I had the cajun chicken burger the burger was edible but the chips were greasy and disgusting worst home cooked chips I've ever tasted, saw lots of people's plates looking the same hadn't eaten the chips! The coweslaw was warm, the onion rings tasted too greasy just like the chips. My son had chicken nuggets chips and beans, the chips were curly fries to which he didn't like, the beans were really mushy like they'd been sitting there since breakfast. He used to have sausage mash and gravy on the old menu now its limited to 4 basic choices. There was one member of staff on the bar, taking drink orders, food orders and checking people into the hotel so as it was dinner time and contractors were also checking in you were left waiting at the bar. The tables outside had lots of empty glasses left on them. The park has seen better days, not really aimed at small children so could do with an update to cater for all ages a toddler area and area for bigger kids. It's such a shame another good family pub with lots of potential and a decent garden going to waste.

Great food at great prices and the roasts there is also outside space for children it is a good place for sport and it is really clean the staff at very friendly.

The Raven can thank the quality of the serving staff for 2 of these stars, the third is totally about their ability to do a rare steak. This said, the rest of my main was mediocre to poor and my partner was served a mouldering jacket potato. The deserts were even more disastrous. I had the Raspberry Brulee and couldn't taste or find the raspberry, the sugar was burnt to bitterness that was unpleasant and the presentation was awful and compounded the errors by putting the ice cream on top of the Brulee destroying any crispness of the sugar top. A real faux pas. Others deserts in our party were equally flawed including a cheesecake that was supposed to have strawberries but the smear that was given was clearly raspberry. As mentioned however the serving staff were much better than the chef quality. I had bad indigestion for the day after. Not impressed.

Been there on a Saturday after participating in The Suffering obstacle course race. We were advised by locals that they would serve food there by 5pm, but once there were told kitchen was not open until 7pm. We had to leave so not a very pleasant experience. The place was quite nice though.

The room I had did not look like the picture on the web site! Someone had spilt a cup of coffee on the carpet, the shower was so slow you had to find the water! The continental breakfast was put out the night before and when I asked for some bread to toast I was told it would take 10 minutes. Thankfully the towels and bedding was lovely and clean.

Went for drinks before a meal. Only 1 member of staff around (who was very friendly and professional) however service was slow for this reason.

Took my daughter there for a "date night" thing (she's 7), we had desert because we'd already eaten and my daughter wanted a "grown up drink" so the girl at the bar did her best to make a mocktail for her… We sat outside ate our desert and watched the sun go down… Was a good night.

We had our Goldies over 50's lunch meet here today, The food and staff were excellent. There was 21 of us and all enjoyed the venue.

Service was good. The pint of Coors I had was one of the worst tasting beers I've ever had. I normally like Coors so there was something wrong with the way it was stored or served etc. Surroundings were OK. The beer was also overpriced.

Had an enjoyable Sunday lunch. Don't get the whole plate size option but probably handy for kids.

I stayed there once never again the rooms are bland and cheap and the woman I dealt with wendy was rude and her room was outrageous how clean is your house should be in there food was not uo standard and every other cheap hotel I have stayed in was the hilton compared to this bomb shelter.

Good food at a great price. Probably the best place to eat in Corby.
