We had a wonderful few days at the Hotel, would thoroughly recommend it. Good Food, friendly staff cannot fault anything. We will be back. Thank you so much.

I booked this hotel for a weekend break for my partners 50th birthday. We arrived on the 4th of June and was greeted by becky at reception. She was so lovely and we soon learnt that the rest of the staff were equally as lovely. Nothing was too much bother and although they were young the team were very polite and friendly. The food was amazing and the place was spotless! The grounds are very well kept and the pool was fab. Cannot fault anything with the rectory and would definitely recommend it infact it was so nice we have spoken to becky about holding our wedding there next year!. Only there for 2 nights but felt like we were part of the family. We will definitely be returning before the year is out. 10 out of 10 for everything!

Booked because it had an outdoor pool. When I arrived with my kids, we were met by friendly staff. They were so organised with COVID regulations. Room was clean and perfect. Swimming pool was amazing and heated. But the food, wow, every meal we had was spot on. Definitely booking there again and for longer next time. Owner and his dad were friendly too.

Wow, just stunningly beautiful, friendly staff and excellent service, food was outstanding and would certainly consider coming back, loved it here.

We had our wedding at The Old Rectory on July 26th 2019. We cannot recommend this venue enough. Massive thank you to Ian and Becky who were absolutely superb throughout our two years planning and who were even more amazing on the day. The venue itself is beautiful and all of the staff there on the day helped make the day that extra bit special.

I celebrated a big birthday just recently and it was a tremendous success all down to the venue, choice of food, attention to detail and the lovely staff. Would recommend this place highly.

A truly delightful countryside hotel. With just 16 bedrooms, it punches well above its weight in terms of comfort, amenities (there is even on outdoor swimming pool set in gorgeous grounds) and all round charm. The staff are enthusiastic and cheerful — nothing is too much trouble. A true 'hidden gem'.

Comfortable room, huge king sized bed. Great food in restaurant and reasonably priced. Breakfast individually cooked and delicious. Try the fresh fruit medley before the cooked breakfast.

What an amazing place with amazing staff! My husband and I had our wedding reception at The Old Rectory Hotel on 26th May this year and it was more than we could ever have expected. Right from the very first time we set foot in this hotel while looking for venues, we knew this place was the one. Ian and Becky made it feel like we were coming home each time we went to visit in the lead up to the wedding and were the most helpful and friendly people I’ve ever met! On the wedding day all the staff made us feel like royalty and nothing was ever too much to ask! The food was absolutely to die for and the bedrooms are just gorgeous! Especially the bridal suite! The rooms were a lot bigger than I had imagined also. The resident dj was amazing too! I already miss being at The Old Rectory so much and will definitely return to stay again one day soon. Thank you all SO much for making our wedding an absolute dream come true! Xxx.

5* still isn’t enough for this amazing wedding venue, what can we say everything was absolutely perfect and our special day ran so smoothly all because of you Ian and Becca and your staff that work here we can’t Thankyou all enough. The whole day Ian and Becca were on hand making sure we were okay, bringing tea and coffee to our room whilst getting ready, making sure we knew the run through of the day and where to go when, turning the room around in between the events of the day, and being on hand for anything extra we needed. The cleanliness of the venue was excellent and the food delicious. Becca you are an amazing woman and your help and support gave us the best day of our lives and memories we will treasure forever, can’t wait to come back next year! Happy smiles all round love the new Mr and Mrs Harrison xxx.

Went to a wedding there — close friends with the couple. Rooms outdated, décor outdated, bar is too small and blocks through fare, catering was terrible, like a kids party, and gardens were small and terrible for photos as there was very little space other than the overcrowded flower archway in the driveway. Pool was covered over which looked awful. Conservatory was cramped and felt outdated and in no way stylish or top end. Bride and groom were on a budget, and it showed. Would not recommend for weddings.

Had a wonderful time, at the St Faith lodge dinner with good friends great food, excellent staff very friendly Nice room with a super king size bed.

Nice venue made better by the weather which allowed us to enjoy the nice setting outside. Would recommend as a venue for any special ocassion.

It was nice. Food was good they kept bringing out more. Clean any tidy with little lights hanging in a tree. Looked fantastic at night. Enough room to park a good few cars. Most of my family attended and there was more spaces. I think I would recommend the old Rectory yes.

Room fantastic especially the fridge but neighbours a bit noisy. Breakfeast disorganised & unenthusiastic. Would stay again if in area just improve service at breakfeast?

Family business with a great team of staff that understand the needs of their guests, friendly polite and helpful. Great location with an excellent restaurant and bar and swimming pool lovely gardens maintained to a high standard, pet friendly and good value for money.

Beautiful grounds, warm welcoming staff who are incredibly friendly. Food is delicious x room is spacious with a lovely large shower. The outside pool warm and it's great distance to local attractions.

We came for our anniversary meal as we got married here 16 years ago.
The food is absolutely amazing, so delicious and they cater so well for my husband who is gluten free.
The service from the staff is great and they are so happy to accomodate any request if the can, even providing me with a plate of cheese and crackers even though it wasn't on the menu.
Thankyou so much for a wonderful evening and we will be back again soon.

My sister in law had her wedding ceremony there and we decided to have an overnight stay. The hotel although small, was very nice. The staff were pleasant and the facilities were good based on price. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Quiet family run hotel. Service was excellent at breakfast with plenty of choice. Extremely friendly. The room was really comfortable and spacious, A good location to see the sites of Norfolk. Definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to others.

We had a lovely stay in this hotel. Lovely grounds, fantastic swimming pool, surrounded by beautiful countryside. Our meal was first class & the staff were very accommodating.

Really friendly helpful staff, clean and tidy rooms made for a great stay. Add a comfy bed and great food all which made for a hotel I will book again. Recommended.

This hotel is a little gem Very welcoming and a great nights sleep in a very comfortable bed.

Firstly the staff are amazing. Extremely friendly, helpful and made our stay something special. The hotel has very lovely gardens and a small but pleasant heated pool. Breakfast was usual standard, chips were world class, drink selection good for a small place. If there was a flaw it would be the decor. The rooms were very comfortable and the bathroom/shower good but areas like the lounge could do with an update. It's really picking hairs and made absolutely no difference to me for 1 night. Would go again, would recommend.

We spent 10 days here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was excellent, staff extremely friendly and helpful, rooms all very clean, the gardens absolutely beautiful. The criticisms I would mention are that the whole place is in desperate need of redecorating, the wallpaper in our room was dated and scruffy. Also, the bathroom had an awful antiquated shower, no storage space; would suggest a small cupboard on wall above loo paper holder and bigger towel rail above radiator. The TV reception was very bad and a clock radio would have been much appreciated. Finally, whilst I mentioned to a member of staff that it was my husband's birthday and could she tie a ballooon to his chair, which she did, at dinner the balloon reappeared + blue crystals on the table and a cupcake with a candle! We were delighted until we checked out and found that he'd been charged for it all! We were disappointed at the somewhat mean attitude when I'd only asked for the balloon. We would stay there again but only if the rooms were redecorated and the pictures on the walls showed a bit more imagination! Very good hotel, let down by scruffy decorations.
