We’ve just had an amazing stay at The Dial House, Reepham, a fantastic dog friendly room, with gorgeous bathroom. The food was second to none, served by friendly staff. All in a relaxing historic house.

WOW, wow, wow! We have just returned from a two night stay in this fabulous boutique hotel, the rooms blew us away, they are beautifully decorated and so clean. There are so many hidden gems in this hotel, we loved the quirkiness, it is truly magnificent. The staff are some of the best we have ever encountered they are so friendly and helpful, they could not do enough for you, it was a pleasure to talk with them. Breakfast was amazing, only high quality produce was used. Will definitely be returning to discover and stay in one of the other rooms. ❤

Our 1st visit with friends and it won’t be our last. Fantastic staff with very good knowledge of the whole menu. Fabulous food and all in our own private dining room. Will be back in the near future and would recommend to anyone who is in the area.

Great night with great company food very good although stick to a good cheese board and leave the seed infested crackers off, normal crackers and butter are much better on the board. as a whole, very nice night with very pleasant friendly staff.

Stayed for one night last week in room 'day of the raj' booked it for my fiances birthday. Room was beautiful, so spacious and clean. Also had food in the restaurant which we couldnt fault at all, same for breakfast the next day. Staff were amazing and so friendly. Honestly the best place I have ever stayed.

We had a fabulous meal this evening at the Dial House. We loved the room in which we enjoyed our meal, nicely spaced tables painted in subtle Farrow and Ball colours. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The meal was outstanding, I had the lamb dish and my husband the pork, followed by a sharing dessert of Apple Tart Tartin with vanilla ice cream. Very sticky but so delicious. Just when we thought it was all over a wooden platter of petit fours arrived such a treat and a lovely way to end our meal. We will be back. Thank you to all at the Dial House.

My husband, myself and our dog went for lunch today and the whole experience was amazing. Wonderful, friendly and helpful waitress, fantastic building and interior design and delicious food. Very dog friendly which was great for us and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely atmosphere with a lovely wood burner which enhanced the ambiance. Highly recommended. You certainly won't be disappointed.

Poor food and poor service. Lovely setting but an uninspiring front of house and waitress who provided a lack lustre and disjointed service. The food was mediocre at best. Not quite sure what happened here as it was a simple breakfast. We did leave email feedback on your request but no comment was made. It's a shame about the impending lockdown but to a customer that wanted to come back time and again to ease that strain, you gave the wrong impression.

I visited on the 25th October 2020, 3 course meal for 2 plus pot of tea, at a very acceptable price, especially for the quality of food and service. The staff carried great manors, and humor — Chris. Unfortunately I couldn't experience their draft beer at the time due to lack of gas. But they had fantastic alternatives. The interior of the building is very adventurous, a little something for everyone, and what you see is forsale! Despite having a later table, the service was very welcoming, without the '' I want to go home'' attitude. I am a naturally hard to please person, and I was more than happy to pay the service charge for this experience. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for an experience you deserve.

We enjoyed a delicious Sunday roast and stay in the Africa room. I could not fault anything, the staff were so welcoming and the food exceeded expectations.

Cracking Sunday lunch, I had the beef which was excellent. Very good value with three courses being £25. Attentive service and kids loved their roast as well. Lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon for the wife’s bday.

Really lovely birthday breakfast at The Dial House on Saturday 4th July (opening morning). With vegan and vegetarian dietary requirements they couldn’t have been more accommodating even making a special veggie breakfast off the menu for us. Jonno our server was fantastic! Always like it here. Felt lovely and spacious during the current COVID times we’re in. We will be back. Thank you team.

Well I came here last night for the first time… it was my first date night in forever & oh my god it was beautiful! Food was unbelievable & service was fantastic. Will be returning! 100% recommend to anyone ❤️

Had a excellent afternoon tea there yesterday, friendly staff but a bit of constructive criticism. Odd crockery very quirky but the cup I was given was to thick to compliment the excellent, lovely tea and a chipped plate is unhygienic more attention to detail needed. I telephoned to book and asked if it was wheelchair friendly and was assured it was. Staff need to advise there is no disabled toilet and getting through to the toilets was not easy, had the lovely room we were in had other diners we would have had to ask them to move and there were steps getting down to the toilets. Would love to go again but can't because of this.

Thoroughly enjoyed a late afternoon tea yesterday. Lovely building and quirkiness around every corner! Pastries were delightful! Choice of teas is good.

Beautiful location, great staff, The Green Room is worth a visit with with their lovely clothes shoes and bags.

This place is special. The attention to detail is incredible, whether it be the decor of the room or the way your drink is served. I didn't have any food so look forward to returning.

Absolutely amazing place. The food was fantastic, the room was stunning and the staff went out of their way to make it extra special as was a surprise for my mum's birthday and parents wedding anniversary. Highly recommended.

The Dial House presents good quality, and appetising food and drinks to break the day — on a journey, or market shopping, perhaps. Prices are the upper end of reasonable, and the whole provides a pleasant atmosphere for friends or family groups. The outdoor tables, overlooking the Market Place are suitable for 'outdoor' parties, such as hikers, or ion my case, motorcyclists, where the chance of coffee and cake enhanced a tutorial ride and debrief session.

We ate at The Dial House in Reepham last night as a birthday celebration with friends and had a very enjoyable evening. The food was excellent and the service exceptional. All of the staff were extremely polite, observant and attentive but not intrusive. It's also a very nice property, with lots of interesting furnishings etc, most of which are also available to purchase. We'll be back.

We found this by pure accident while away in our caravan very friendly staff and the food well thank you for a wonderful night.

We had a super lunch at the Dial house today, would definitely recommend the BBQ carrots and the roasted salmon. You have to leave room for the wonderful desserts, as my friend said the Lavender brûlée with rye, blackberries and yogurt was the best dessert she has eaten, and the strawberries with chai were very tasty. Will definitely be going back! Staff very friendly and helpful. Thanks.

Fairly good service (glass of wine was forgotten about) and delicious food are a good start. I would recommend ordering side-dishes as portions are a little mean (4 Jersey Royals is a ridiculously small portion in my book) or going for as many courses as are on the menu to avoid the need to stop for chips on the way home. Venue is beautiful, tastefully decorated and everything is for sale, should you wish to take the table home.

Having been to Farmyard in Norwich and experienced a decent meal in terms of both service and food. A trip to The Dial House for lunch was to be expected with the owners of this Norwich based recently taken over the space. 3 of us dined, including my sister who has various allergies, all of which were very looked after during the meal. With both the waiter and manager coming over to double check that dishes were explained correctly etc. Service in general was good, if not slightly slow and a little flustered at times. As could be heard when passing the kitchen with orders going slightly wrong (all to be expected with a new kitchen and team). In terms of food, the menu is of a classical Norfolk pub/restaurant fare. With tasty sounding meat dishes, fish and a vegetarian option. As with the Farmyard hints of creativity seep through with the inclusion of such roots as kolrabhi. Though the menu rarely inspires, apart from the dropping of excellent produces of meat. The starters were nothing to jump at with the crab dish being simple, yet fairly tasty. Can't really go wrong with such being so close to the coast. However, we all felt that the mains were nothing more than average and far too expensive for what was presented on each of our plates. My mother opted for the chicken dish, which came with a slither of vegetables, and a rather sad potato rosti underneath. My lamb dish, which priced at over £20 was finished in a matter of mouthfuls.

Nice place and food nice too… but you don't get very much of it… so if you're very hungry order a starter. Could be pricey though. The pinot grigio rose was too dry so avoid.

Was so looking forward to this evening. Four meals came out my lamb was not edible very tough and chewy. My potatoes where under cooked and cold agreed by management. My wife's meal had to be returned steak was not cooked as required well done it came out red. I chose steak for my second meal well done it came out red so I had nothing to eat all night whilst my wife had half of a meal. Staff where helpful as for the cook well if he was in my restaurant he would no longer be. Won't be visiting again.

Slightly expensive but good service. Deco is interesting & you feel that you've had an experience with lunch not just lunch. Do not miss out on the toilets! The cloth shop upstairs is a lovely addition very reasonable. The hair dresser is excellent. Xx.

Pleasant place for a quiet tea or coffee. Was put off by everything having a price ticket on it. Slightly worried might have to move if someone bought the chair I was sitting on!

Had afternoon tea at The Dial House with my wife. Easy free parking right outside and stepping through front door is like going back in time. Excellent selection of very fresh, very tasty sandwiches, scones and cakes and, despite skipping lunch, both of us were stuffed by the end, even leaving a few morsels we couldn't manage.

Fantastic, quirky hotel in a lovely little village. It’s not cheap but worth paying that bit extra for. I was in the “Natural History” room which had a small outside space (ideal for my bike! ). Loved the themed rooms and the extra touches such as the record player, home made cookies and ceiling speakers in the bathroom. Fresh milk in fridge and coffee press in room. Massive comfortable bed and flat screen TV with Sky! Breakfast was delicious — Eggs Royal for me with perfectly poached runny eggs. Great selection of parties and fruit to choose from too. The only thing I’d change would be to make it more cycle friendly — perhaps offer storage for bikes. It’s just off the wonderful off Road Marriotts Way cycle route so I’m sure this place would be a great stop for cyclists after a 15 mile journey from Norwich.

Lovely hotel. Excellent themed rooms. Afternoon tea was nice. Would have got 5 stars but couple of negative points, although disappointingly got one of sandwiches wrong despite in advance of stay twice asking for adjustment. When asked for replacement on serving, none given or any goodwill gesture. 2nd pot of tea offered after 75mins too late. Also, continental breakfast not mentioned and when partner said no to items on fried breakfast no extra given on items ordered so had half empty plate. But overall lovely stay.

Well prepared and presented contemporary British food served in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. A strange mixture between a cafe/restaurant and an interior design shop but surprisingly it works.

Complete transformation of the place. Some lovely quirks (toilets are well worth a visit! ) and fun to explore that place with all it's quirky antiques for sale! The food was full of flavour but portion sizes were slightly small. Altogether a lovely evening spent just ever so slightly peckish after!

What a gem — so pleased to have discovered this Hotel and Restaurant. We had a very enjoyable overnight stay booked as a surprise birthday treat. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. A nice touch to have complimentary tea and cake on arrival. The interior is quirky and interesting as well as very comfortable. We had a delicious evening meal and breakfast. Excellent customer service. Thank you to the Dial House team for making our visit so pleasurable. We will certainly be returning.

An absolute gem, situated in the small market place at Reepham The Dial House is beautiful inside and out. I visited in the evening and the food was impeccable, the quality perfect and the menu has plenty of choice without being oversized. The staff are consummate professionals, attentive, friendly and welcoming. I strongly recommend The Dial House and place it firmly amongst one of the finest dining experiences to be had in Norfolk.

This is a great place to catch up with friends. I would say that there is no need to book in the mornings but lunch times and especially Sunday lunches you would definitely need to book. We had dropped scones which were just. Prices are fair and we used our passport (discount card for all establishments in this group). Lots of items for sale dotted around and fun to look at, many of them are garden/outdoor items. Also lots of glass and ornaments too. Lots of different rooms to eat in and outside seating at the front too. Then there are the toilets…

Wonderful place. Only had afternoon tea and was one of the best teas I had.

I cannot fault this place. The staff are always fantastic and happy to help with anything. I am coeliac meaning I cannot eat gluten, their menu has gluten free options and they are always happy to change bits and bobs if needed. The food is always insanely good and I always leave feeling nicely full! This place is mine and my boyfriends happy place and I couldn't recommend enough!

This is a beautifully decorated restaurant with a nice outdoor seating area. We stopped for brunch and ate pancakes which were delicious! Would definitely recommend a visit here.

In Reepham this morning to take dog to groomers. Had an hour and a half to kill and had been recommended to The Dial House. Called in for breakfast. Only 2 waiting staff and quiet busy. Had to wait 15 mintutes before order taken for 2 English breakfasts which included tea or coffee for £11. It arrived 30 minutes later, pretty average for money. Bacon overcooked, small portion of scrambled eggs and only 1 portion of toast brought to the table. Had to request that but felt guilty as the guys very really busy. When paying the bill we were charged for the tea and coffee that was included in the price of the breakfast! Not sure if we'd go again.

Went for afternoon tea as a Christmas treat from the family. Disappointed after being told what a lovely place this was. On arrival we were seated in a pleasant room and given the menu. We had pre booked afternoon tea for 5 but it was brought out for 4 with no pastrys. We spoke to the waiter who said sorry but didn't realise there was pastrys on the menu. All staff should know the menu when serving a customer. After a 10minute wait they brought the 5th tea which was disappointing considering we had pre booked and wanted to all eat together. A plate of sausage rolls arrived which was all they could offer from the pastry selection. Some of the sandwiches were dry and we were served some end pieces of cake which were not great. Very disappointed considering reviews on The Dial House and would not waste the petrol again to travel to Reepham when there are far better establishments offering afternoon tea of far better quality nearer Norwich. The following day my daughter received a phone call asking if we were going for our booking that day. Obviously got the bookings wrong as well.

Lovely building, quirky features, great food and service. Went here for Sunday lunch and it was superb. Probably best to book a table in advance as it does get very busy. Recommended.
