Overpriced food and terrible service.
We came for Sunday lunch and first impressions were that we were impressed with the look of restaurant inside and outside — it really is beautiful.
However, despite not being busy, me and my partner were ignored by staff for most of our visit. We waited for ages for our drinks and then our food. We were treated like an inconvenience when I flagged staff down to request condiments as we were not checked on after our food was dumped down.
Finally — after requesting the bill we had to wait over 20 minutes for it to arrive.
Really bad and disappointing service, considering how expensive and mediocre the food is. We did not enjoy our visit and would not recommend.

Great suite, good restaurant and excellent beers.

We booked to be inside and yet they had us right next to the doors which were wide open! It is absolutely freezing! No warning at all. However, when we asked for blankets they did provide them. Food was lovely but went cold very quickly.

Lovely outdoor meet up with others for a birthday get together and crimbo presents swap, well thought out with heaters, hot water bottles and festive decorations, loved the look of the ‘sheds’ or pods, fancy a flask of their hot chocolate in one, looking forward to Christmas Eve there too. Brilliant for tier 2 meet ups, staff great as usual.

Good gluten free choices I was able to have fish and chips and a hot pudding.

This hotel is lovely I highly recommend the bar staff are so friendly.

What an incredible visit! Was personally a little nervous getting out and about again, however, the safety measures that are being used here soon restored full confidence! You can definitely tell the staff are extremely happy to be back, all were very friendly, there definitely was a smile under the masks! Service was excellent, quick and safe! Food was just fabulous and drinks were a great reminder of the summer that used to be! The menu is a little smaller, however still an amazing choice of food! The app was a little confusing at first, but the staff soon, happily helped! Book, order and pay using the app, or pay by card. P. S. If you think there is something missing, e. G. Napkins, items are request only! Just wished we had room for desert!

A perfect way to celebrate our anniversary. Had drinks outside — huge garden — lovely atmosphere. We then moved inside to have dinner — an absolutely delicious meal.
The staff were on point and very friendly. We will definitely be back. Thanks for making our evening special.

Large family gatherings for 40th birthday. Quite cramped at table for meal for 20 people. Meals looked ok. Mine personally was very small portion. 2 small pieces of ham 2 eggs and a handful of chips for £10.75 the child's meals were larger. Very nice outdoor area so accommodated another 20 people that arrived after meal. But at 7pm the birthday person was asked to leave after he was jostling around with his 6 yr old son. Which caused a disagreement and they were then informed that a diner had complained about the kids. We had been there for 7 hrs and spent a large amount of money. The 15 + kids had been well behaved all day. My opinion is that they wanted us out as the evening clientele would be arriving. They took our money then wanted us gone.
