Lovely staff allowed me to bring a large group of people to the pub following my Dads funeral service and allowed us to play some of his favourite music which they kindly put together for us. Me and my Dad enjoyed going here in the afternoons for food which was always spot on every time. Thanks again to all of the staff who helped make a difficult day much easier.

Food is great, staff are friendly. Everything is reasonably priced. Will go back.

Don’t let your children do a job trial hère they make them work on a busy weekend leave them on their own for six hours and then don’t even pay them.

Friendly staff and good Wi-Fi. Dinner was well-proportioned and quickly served. The room was well-equipped but a little shabby. The walls and floor are not well sound-proofed, so I didn't stand a chance of getting to sleep until very late. Breakfast was too late to be of any use to me.

Food took ages. My husband's and children's meals were cold. Though hot my stew had been in the oven so long that the dumplings were rock hard on the top. This was a blessing in disguise though as when you ate the softer underneath they were really salty with near while size pieces of peppercorn in, this was knocked off our bill. Such a shame as the kids loved playing outside but we'll only ever return for drinks and for them to play.

Nice pub with reasonably priced food and huge portions. Lovely, big garden with a little play area for children including toddler swings.

Better at night as I prefer not to be surrounded by children. Good food. Good service. Bit pricey for pub grub.

What a lovely little pub, the new land lady is fantastic and trying very hard to up grade but these things take time, it may not be fancy enough for some people but it's very clean and comfy has everything you need in your room, the food is hot, fresh and good value for money and the staff are fantastic, I would recommend this place and look forward to seeing the coming updates.

Great atmosphere for a casual drink with friends & family, great quality food as well if you fancy a decent meal. Be sure to check out the beer garden in the summer!

By far one of the best pubs/ Inn/ restaurant I've been to outside of Norwich city centre food fantastic staff friendly and chatty fantastic range of food both bar and hotel staff are very welcoming keep up the high standards!

Reasonably priced beer and good selection of wine's/sprits. Can get very busy and noisy due to being a family pub. The staff were friendly however as mentioned above you may have to shout for a conversation when busy.

Great service, great food, and a good selection of draught beer. The food portions are generous, with plenty of burgers to choose from, as well as the usual pub grub, and an adequate selection for vegetarians. There's a large beer garden with children's play area and a patio with heaters.

Very polite and friendly, go every year for Xmas dinner, thought this year was not as good as last but very competitive prices. Good atmosphere.

Went to the Blue Boar for a Christening, had private use of an area just as you go in to the location. The food provided was tasty and fresh, drinks were reasonably priced. Nice location would consider using it in the future.

Sunday lunch, service was excellent, good generous portion, I had chosen the roast turkey, (very wet)! Yorkshire puddings and vegetables were great. Daughter had chosen the nut roast, with all roast trimmimgs, all very good. We had the fruit crumble for dessert, again generous portion and delicious.

Good communication with staff beforehand when querying a late arrival. Accomodation is above a busy pub, but not much noise travelled through to the rooms. Rooms are spacious, with tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge in the room. Rooms where a little cold on arrival, but radiators are controllable. Excellent breakfast. Staff very helpful all the way through the stay, always friendly. Large car park. Would definitely stay again.

Nice pub with good food. Fried halloumi and chips were amazing, our group also got the veg burgers and pies — all of it was really good — would recommend for veggies.

Ate outside in the beer garden which was lovely, we then moved inside for a very drinks. The bar area was nice and relaxed and the ladies behind the bar are lovely! Lovely place to eat and drink.

Good location, large car park & very large outside dinning area c/w kids play area. Large selection of drinks & the food was excellent. Would highly recommend for a bite to eat.

Went for a quick lunch, and the food was amazing! Average pub prices, with very quick service. Not a long wait for food either. I had the joker burger, which contained slow cooked pork belly, and it was cooked to perfection. I would definitely return, and recommend this place to friends.

The Blue Boar is a pub with restaurant facilities; the pub is situated on the Wroxham Road in Sprowston, it has parking (although not the best laid out spaces! ), A large outdoor space including children's play area, and it serves premium beers and local ales. It's a nice place for a family meal.

Garden was fantastic. Nice and big, nice little kids play area. It's the 1st time I've visited but will definitely be ginger back.

Great night, food was lovely, polite staff. Although smoking huts roof leaks straight through so got soaked.

We went along on a Sunday evening in the sunshine and sat outside with a couple of drinks. It was reasonably priced, good customer service (I wanted to pay by card and under £10 they give you the difference back in cash, normally places like this don't let you pay on card with that amount). A pleasurable way to spend half an hour.
