First vist to The Crown and we was not disappointed. Walked in after a wet dog walk and was greeted with a blazing wood burner and smiley, happy staff. Amazing fresh food and large portions for our lunch ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Beautiful building with lots of interesting history
Very welcomed by staff and got to know the locals, all very friendly and chatting. Our two dogs was very welcomed too and that made our vist even better! Shame we had to leave but had a long drive home. We will definitely be returning soon! Thank you to all who made our vist a perfect afternoon.

We moved to the uk and had to quarantine for 2 weeks. The staff were great and very accommodating. They would bring dinner right to our hotel cottage and were very attentive.

Just had Sids Birthday meal here and once again great food Brilliant service. Love the pub. Cannot fault anything. Clean and social distance put in place. Would recommend and definitely my favourite place for that special meal or even just for a lunch. Thank you to all the Staff xxx.

I've haven't stayed overnight but the food and service was great, Becky behind the bar was professional and friiendly.

Stayed at Center Parcs for a weekend of celebrations and visited The Crown as a party of 23 to celebrate my daughter 18th Birthday today. Absolutely lovely food and service and staff were excellent. I would thoroughly recommend this place. Thank you very much.

Found this brilliant place today while visiting the area. Sat in the back bar 3 adults any 9 year old son and our little dog was welcome to. Very friendly place and the food was brilliant.

Let down by a booking in a big self catering rental house in area for a Golden Wedding family celebration this weekend, The Crown came to our rescue, so hospitable and genuinely friendly, nothing was too much trouble as we booked into one of their self catering cottages, smaller kitchen than we had envisaged for family, cooking us a very special meal but they provided for our every need so graciously. We can’t thank them enough. Sunday pub lunch was to be recommended too.

Just back from a lovely weekend stay, we had every need met, the staff really were excellent, food was delicious, we greatly enjoyed it, we have stayed many times, and will return soon.

Lovely place. Thought we were getting a family room and it turned out to be a massive family house. Brilliant.

Rooms a bit small and warm. But cozy and family orientated. Great breakfast and pub attached.

Local village pub, with B&B accomodation. Rooms in the stable house are well furnished with plenty of space, and good showers. Quiet in the evenings as well, as not attached to the pub itself. Restaurant was nicely decorated, with a small but reasonable selection of cereals and full english breakfast on offer.

I stayed in room Just want to say how nice the restaurant staff where, the waitress and cook where very polite, efficient, very professional. I was kept awake until 12.30am on Wed 18th because of some men drinking outside but overall really enjoyed my stay,

Beautiful place. Stayed in their holiday house… Claire House, had a fantastic stay, breakfast at the Crown was delicious. Would not hesitate to return there and to reccommend it.

Stayed in room 10 which was nice and clean and has rustic charm. There is a nice big garden connected for dogs and the staff are friendly and helpful. However although the breakfast was very nice with a good selection, we did not enjoy the dinner we had last time we visited and chose to eat in the fish and chip shop opposite instead. Overall a nice hotel to stay… especially with a dog.

We moved over to Norfolk 5 years ago. We found this gem straight away, we used to own a very similar pub, all fresh food etc. My partner was the chef, and I was out front, we know what we are looking at! This place does fabulous food, the bar is always a hive of chatter and locals meeting contractors, upstairs is the quieter dining room which we prefer.
Never had a bad meal there in 5 yrs. Not many places do a proper fillet steak but they do here. The one thing we say they could improve with? Do as we did, proper homemade chips, no one does them in Norfolk! Yes its more work peeling etc, but we had the customers come especially for them!

The crown is a rustic hotel with comfortable rooms and well priced drinks and food. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They had a good selection of drinks all at fair prices and beijg able to charge to the room made the process quicker and easier, food was of good quality with a wide selection catering for various dietary requirements.

Fantastic place. The locals are extremely friendly, the food delicious and room was lovely. I will definitely stay there again.

I used to get digs in mundford in the crown and along the rd at clare house… great staff and friends especially. Megan Caroline and beth the whole crew were top class. Some of my best nights are in the crown at 2am on a Tuesday morning. Dint know how Barry out up wi th us crazy Scotsman…

Ate here last night, we'd never visited before even though The Crown is only 10 minutes from home! We were greeted with a warm welcome and shown upstairs to the restaurant. Both the bar and the restaurant had a good atmosphere and the restaurant is tastefully decorated.
The menu offered plenty of choice with good vegetarian options and the food was beautifully cooked and absolutely delicious. The service was efficient and attentive.
We will definitely be back!

Food and staff excellent. Room was a bit small as we were in a room with two double beds and the eaves of the roof. 1 very small bar of soap, one small sachet of shower gel, no flannels and bath towel small. At night you were either very hot, or couldn't sleep due to noise of people leaving the pub, shouting outside, slamming of car doors and the revving of car engines. The bar seemed a bit smaller than the pictures. Small Restaurant only accessed by stairs and due to an argument/fight in the bar downstairs our evening was ruined. Would recommend for food but not for accommodation.

Food was excellent. Beer was excellent the rooms are OK and service was really friendly.

Meals good. Bars too small and restaurant is very old and dated. It's is a quirky old coach house so you get what it suggests. Staff nice. Limited parking in the street each time we've been but we will go again because of the food. Good value.

I love this public house. It is welcoming sells good beer, the food is great both in the bar and also in the restaurant. They offer a very of choice and us very well presented and prepared. Just wish I lived closer.

Lovely old village pub serving excellent food in a separate restaurant. Would have been 5* if the portions hadn't been quite so big. Food waste is a big no-no for me.

Traditional, busy village pub. Good menu catering for all tastes. Good, clean rooms. Highlight must be the staff, who are friendly and welcoming, making for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Dogs welcome in rooms and the public bar.

A great little find we will be back, the ploughman's was amazing.
