Very nice country pub, beer, food and service very good. Great garden too.

Enjoyable dinner, good and varied menu.

Excellent food and beverage. Looks like it's had updates since the last time I visited admittedly years ago and massive beer garden. Definately one of the nicest pubs in the area.

Popped in for late lunch and drinks. Aspalls cider served in a ale/beer glass which will go flat very quickly so had to ask for a larger/ cider glass. Menu said bucket of Goujons. What we actually got was 3 bits of chicken on a plate. Miss sold at its best although it was lovely we were left hungry. Lady that served us needs to wear her face mask over her nose as well as her mouth. School girl error. Lovely place but wouldn’t rush back. No I’m not having a bad day.

Had a lovely time at the Feathers for Mattys 40th family meal. The staff were fantastic and very hospitable for our large group. We will definitely be coming back! Thankyou.

Lovely food, just spoiled by the load mouthed homophobic, racist local at the bar. It would have been nice if the bar staff told him to keep his views to himself — it spoils hat is a lovely village pub.

Terrible service, rude bar man& very rude service by a woman who said she was too busy to bring salt, pepper & sauces. The garden’s are not maintained. Definitely gone downhill.

The food was lovely, could not fault it but in the present covid awareness circumstances I think more could be done, although there was a sanitizer table inside, no one cleaned our table outside, no one took our details for track and trace and there was no sanitizer by the children’s play area.

Best meal I've had in a while. Delicious doesn't even cover it! Very generous portions too! Would certainly be glad to come back.

Menu was very plain and boring. Once we ordered the chicken came out uncooked. The roast was very boring and very cold. Chips were over fried and service was terrible. Bar staff were slow and rude and manager did not even apologise for terrible food. It is 2* food rating for a reason!

Visited for the first time to attend a wake for my uncle. Staff were very respectful, friendly and helpful, buffet was impressive. The place itself seemed clean, and the decor and furnishings encourage the visitor to be comfortable and relaxed. My Aunt and Uncle live locally and this place was a favourite of his. Just a shame I never got to share a meal with him there.

Absolutely wonderful, lovely food, great service and even gave our puppy a treat. Fully recommend, have a good vegetarian menu.

A wonderful pub in a delightful setting. The food is excellent with good vegetarian choices too as well as a good childrens menu. Very nice childrens play area in the beer garden, it is positioned at the back of the garden so gets good shade and doesn't disturb others using the beer garden too. Small bar area inside which is very nice and has around six large tables too. Pleasant and helpful staff too.

Popped in last night as it was our 21st wedding anniversary. The owner was chatting to another couple at the bar so had to wait until he’d finished his conversation before acknowledging us. Ordered food and sat outside. When the young waiter came out with our food he put it on the table told us cutlery was up the top there and pointed then walked away! So only 2* food was lovely (although my husbands salad was in a bowl it was planted in his risotto so the bottom was covered in food) service was not so good.

This is advertised as a dog friendly pub, but if you love your dog you won’t bring them here! Popped in here with my other half and his family for a few drinks before heading home. I had brought my dog up from London for the weekend. He’d been fine with other dogs all weekend. There was another family sitting across from us with a black Labrador minding their own business, when the owners dog, a huge afghan hound, goes over to the lab and attacks it for no reason. It actually bit the lab, and the family on the table had to hold it back until the owner could be bothered to come in. About half hour later, I was sat at the table near the rear entrance in a circle with my dog in the middle of everyone on a lead which my partner had hold of. Out of nowhere the owners dog comes out of the pub and straight away starts snarling at my dog and finds his way through the chairs and is snapping trying to bite my dog. My partner pulled my dog back as his face almost got bit, and his dad pulled the owners dog back by the collar (who was still trying to bite my dog). The owner came out saw this, and had a go at my partners dad telling him not to pull his dog like that! At no point did the owner apologise and just headed straight back in. This was the second incident within thirty minutes where the owners dog attacked another dog and the owner is oblivious to how dangerous their dog is! Won’t be returning here ever again and will be reporting them.

Make a point of stopping here when we go to Norfolk. Great friendly service. Well kept beer. Food is above average. Real veg! Loved the steak and kidney pudding. They also have super size beer garden and a huge gin selection. Not stayed overnight but I suspect rooms are as nice as the bar and eating rooms.

Enjoyed visit to feathers staff very pleasant, the pub had an area quite large for functions and the pub itself seperate. 2 large outdoor seating areas. We enjoyed wonderful weather that partiicular day.

Lovely place to stay all staff very polite and respectful. Only problem stairs were difficult to manage for someone of senior years.

We celebrated my Grandma's 90th birthday here on Sunday. Despite being a very large group (21) on a busy Sunday lunchtime we were looked after really well and had a lovely afternoon. We were allocated a whole room to ourselves and the staff had kindly decorated the table with balloons for us. The service was excellent. The bar staff were very professional and helpful. Our waitress was very patient and thorough about taking our orders and was happy for us to order separately as couples/family groups. The food all came out very smoothly so no one had to wait too long. We had a delicious meal; the Sunday roast was excellent and the portions were very generous. Nothing was too much trouble. Very impressed with the whole experience and my Grandma had a wonderful time. Happy customers all round! Thank you.

Staying at Sandringham Caravan site to visit family who live in the surrounding area. Walked through the woods looking for a dog friendly pub for lunch and found the Feathers… amazing food, wonderful ambience, friendly staff and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

Come to this pub every year. Always amazing food. But yesterday we had Sunday roast. It was barely edible. The beef was dry and overly chewy. And the pork which I had was extremely salty, frozen then reheated. The potatoes were so dried out and hard we couldn't even get the fork in to cut them. It seemed the roast dinners had been cooked the day before and simply reheated to order. For £12.50 each, this was unacceptable quality.
One of our group had the gammon steak which actually looked like crispy bacon. He couldn't even cut it.
However, you cannot fault the staff. They are all very polite and helpful.

Lovely little pub and restaurant. Amazing and friendly staff and delicious meals to boot. Stopped with my 2 children and they loved it too especially the park and the puddings.

Nice, old, building. Great bar and food. Large beer garden with kids play area. Comfortable rooms and great breakfast. By no means luxury but ideal place to stay in North Norfolk. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Friday 11th August, we had a wake for the funeral of Uncle Bob Steel. The food and service was the best! Thank you so much. Special thanks to the young lad who was serving the food and making sure we were comfortable, he was so nice and helpful. Top marks all of you.

We arrived at lunch time and found a table in the bar quite easily. It filled up soon after though. The food was average pub quality, but generous options for hungry ones.

Always have a good experience here. Great summary lunc. The specials are also great.

Restaurant. Good pub grub, genuine service. Nothing special but called in on Route to holiday.

We searched on line for somewhere to stay in North Norfolk while we were exploring possible places to live. We arrived at The Feathers in the pouring rain and we were a trifle despondent when shown to our room which was very cold and somewhat dated. However the warm welcome and help with our luggage soon made up for this. By the time we had unpacked and turned the room heater up we were much happier, the evening meal was superb and the atmosphere in the bar very friendly and congenial. The staff appear to be doing everything they can to generate more trade and in these times of economic gloom we feel they are doing a grand job. Please don't judge this pub by it's "cover" try it and you will be pleasantly surprised! We would however suggest they call themselves a pub with rooms and not a hotel.
