Well where do I start, Sherbourne House is just beautiful, stayed in the Junior Suite and cannot fault anything, cleanliness amazing, bed really comfortable, bathroom lovely, tea/coffee facilities everything you need and more.
Hotel Manager is really welcoming and nothing was to much trouble.
Breakfast beautifully cooked and plentiful and all lovely and hot.
Will definatley be returning.

Lovely stay this weekend, dog friendly welcoming helpful staff a little anniversary treat left in our room. Came with friends & there dogs too beautiful place highly recommended x.

We hosted a training event for 40 people today and Heather and her team were amazing. Initial enquiry through to leaving was faultless. The food was far superior to what you normally receive at big hotels and Heather adapted our menu to suit us and it was plentiful. Tea and coffee was served at exactly the right time which whilst sounds minor when you are running to a schedule really matters.
Some delegates stayed that night and remarked at how fantastic check in was, the rooms and breakfast. I will be holding future events here and would highly recommend to all.

We had our wedding afternoon tea here on Thursday 25/4/19. It was amazing would like to thank Heather and her staff for a wonderful day. The food was great. Beautiful setting for a wedding staff great so helpful. Nothing was to much trouble so friendly. Clean tidy. And great for photos. Would definitely recommend for small intimate weddings party's. Recently had my partners 30th birthday party at this venue and I highly recommend to everyone. The service that all my guests received was 10/10.
They made the planning and party its self so stress free and went above and beyond in their customer care. Genuinely lovely people and place.

Such a peaceful location with great staff.

Am sorry to say, checked in about 3.30 on 1st September, was just handed the key no direction as to where the room was, asked if bar was open, not normally coz only for function, but the young lady did open it. NO draught beer, 20 mins later got a couple of bottles of beer, asked if we could book a taxi only to be given a card to call them oursleves! Doors were all open. To rooms, they looked lovely. To be honest, was well disappointed with room number 7, 2 single beds zipped together, walk way round them was probably a foot and a half each side, TV on wall probably lucky if it was 20 inch or maybe smaller? To be honest that room should be a single after looking at the others, so no wouldnt stay there again coz looked at tariff for the rooms, all the same.

Beautiful hotel. Very helpful and polite staff. We had booked here for an afternoon tea for my mother in laws 60th. All the guests commented on how lovely the hotel is. A few guests also stayed and said how comfortable the rooms were.

We choose to have the Sherbourne House Hotel as our Wedding Venue, Heather the manager was very professional, approachable, accommodating from the very first meeting to the wedding day, her team are fantastic from start to finish. The food was lovely, drinks reasonable price, very relaxing venue, some guests with ourselves stayed the night and the breakfast was lovely with the breakfast room set up with one long table to accommodate us, great finish to a lovely wedding. If you are thinking of having the Sherbourne as your wedding Venue, don't hesitate book it, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Heather and your team, you should all be very proud of yourselves. Lovely hotel and staff are very welcoming and friendly Great value for money.

Really bad accomodation. The bedrooms are stuffy and smell like old people. The showers are bad as the pressure of the water is really low and the water is cold. The bed was bent and the matress was dipping. The bathroom door also does not fully shut and the architecture is bland. The food was alright but not great. The whole place is very small and overall not worthy of being called a hotel. At most it is a 1 star B & B.

Fabulous afternoon tea to celebrate mums 90th birthday. Staff very friendly and attentive to everyone needs. Thanks for the football for the littlies to play with on the lawn and for rescuing the toy off the roof!

In room 8 really nice room very clean and comfortable would recommend. Staff very polite.

Seemed good to me. The food was a simple buffet for my Aunts funeral. I haven't stayed here though.

I've stayed here around 4 or 5 times now. Most recent stay was disappointing. The rooms are nice enough and clean, but the shower didn't work (scolding hot to freezing cold) and the bath also didn't work (cold and little flow, or scolding hot again). I overheard another guest making the same complaint. Nobody asked about my stay so I didn't offer any feedback. The Mulberry Tree is a better option imo.

Great location lovely rooms shame it's b&b but plenty of great dinner opertunites.

This is a small quaint little hotel. I attended a professional event here, and the room was light and comfortable. The provided coffee was nice if a bit week for my liking, and the provided lunch was nice. Wouldn't have any problems coming here again.

Lovely hotel — had room 8 which is big, airy and light. Breakfast was delicious and the staff very helpful and welcoming. Just be aware that they no longer open the restaurant in the evenings and the website hasn't been updated to reflect that, however lots of good options within easy walking distance. Will definitely return.

Comfortable small hotel with good size rooms, and nice breakfasts. The staff are very friendly and the lack of evening meals isn't an issue as there are several excellent options within walking distance (book first! ), plus the owners are happy to provide plates etc if you want to order take away. Beds a little soft for my taste but this wouldn't stop me coming back.

Very nice old place for meetings and events has some parking just outside the town. Staff were friendly.

Attended a business meeting on Thursday and Friday, staff were very friendly and refreshments were spot on.

Stayed at the Sherbourne House for a business trip and what a lovely little place. The home is full of character, the staff helpful and friendly, and the room I was in was very clean and a good size. Being next to a busy road it is not loud at all, and I was able to have a great nights sleep on a very comfy bed. Breakfast in the morning was a treat; it is made to order and hats off to the cook! It was hot and delicious. Would for sure stay here again.

With the exception of the shower there was nothing wrong with the room. Clean, welcoming and real coffee for the morning. Shower cubicle was large, clean and again welcoming, but, I assume, a low powered electric shower as the flow was very weak, but it served its purpose. Staff kind and friendly. Would stay again.

The staff are friendly hotel was lovely and clean and they looked after us, they catered for my mum's wake it was very tranquil and peaceful. The food was nice and they did a wonderful job under the sad circumstances it was very pleasant would highly recommend the sherbourne house.

Went there for a wedding reception, food excellent, staff super friendly and extremely helpful. Highly recommend!
