It's been several years since my previous visit and I have to say there has been a vast improvement. We visited on Monday evening and there was a very nice atmosphere and it was warm and welcoming. The food was delicious and very reasonable priced considering the huge portion that you get.
We had 2 mains with a side order, 1 soft drink and a bottle of Wine, all fur under £50, well worth the money.
We stayed in the hotel next door for three nights and were of course able to enjoy the excellent food in the Pub & Grill.
We were thrilled with the food and the preparation. It is recommended to reserve a table on Fridays. We were a bit disappointed that evening because we were ignored by the staff. Nevertheless we give 5 stars.
Having to work away from home is always a pain but this is the second time iv stayed here it’s always been clean today, the staff are always very friendly the food is second to none and even after a week of it I wasn’t sick of the same stuff as there was a good variety of choices the breakfast options are good too hopefully I’ll get to stay here against some point.
