The Hotel is fantastically located for everything Liverpool has to offer. Upon arrival staff were extremely friendly & helpful. We were given a free late check out which was amazing. We left early after one night of our stay. Terrible night, noisy and very uncomfortable bed, old and cramp, dirty walls in the room. Overall not a nice environment. Have complained to the Hotel with two emails. But no reply 😔

Absolutely loved staying here for the weekend, so much we’ve booked for November again, staff around the hotel where brilliant, Julie on breakfast couldn’t do enough for everyone, highly recommend.

We had a fabulous couple of days at the hotel celebrating my 50th birthday. Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely staff. Food at the mpw restaurant was fantastic — would highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

Great staff friendly and helpful. Great rooms fantastic restaurant Marco Pierre White, food and service is outstanding and it’s pricey but it’s value for money and the portions are good. One of the best hotels I have stayed in for a long time. There’s a few small issues but overall this place is excellent and well located in Liverpool city centre.

Just finished a three day stay at this beautiful hotel and I couldn't fault it in any way. The staff were all helpful and polite and the breakfast was first class. Our room was very nice and plenty of space and had hair dryer & iron and ironing board. Hotel is very cool and professional without being pretentious. Our new go to hotel the next time we visit liverpool. Thank you Indigo ❤👍

Just got back after spending a few days for Christmas, absolutely fantastic staff all friendly and very happy to help to make sure you enjoy your stay. Food is amazing and price is fair, breakfast is a must.

Went for our 20 th wedding anniversary, had a lovely time, great atmosphere, helpful staff… only downside we got charged £25 for a pint of beer and a large wine, quickly put right after speaking to manager.

Visited Liverpool this past weekend for a quick city break and stayed at the Hotel Indigo. One of the nicest hotels we've stayed at. Very unique decor, clean rooms, well stocked (free) fridge. Extremely helpful and attentive staff who couldn't do enough for us to make sure everything was not just "OK", but great! Whilst we didn't eat in the hotel that night, we did have a very hearty breakfast the following morning. We'd certainly stay here again if we find ourselves back in Liverpool and has opened our eyes to the Hotel Indigo chain! Thank you for a lovely weekend!

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Indigo Liverpool. The staff were we very friendly and helpful. The rooms spacious well serviced with little treats of chocolate, crisps and fizzy drinks if you wanted them. Placed a step away from the waterfront this is well worth a visit I plan to stay again.

Loved the hotel. Beautiful trendy bedrooms, relaxing restaurant and attentive staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening main meal, sirloin steaks… unfortunately desserts were a let down… Eton mess without fruit and with ice cream and cheese plate with slice of cheese and malt loaf but no butter/chutney etc. Continental breakfast brilliant choice but cooked breakfast quite greasy. Maybe Judy a little unlucky with this. Would stay again but not sure would eat.

Fantastic hotel. When we first arrived we were greeted with a warm genuine smile and attentive staff. The room was excellent too everything nice and clean and comfortable too. The bed for me and my wife was really comfortable and I would say we are fussy. It had a boutique feel but a budget price. We had a quick cocktail night cap which was very well made. I highly recommend this hotel for a liverLive stay. I always take time out to praise when it is deserved but equal happy to point out any short comings if that helps anyone reading this.

Good location, good prices, good breakfast with multiple hot meal options. Walking distance to the docks, city centre, various museums and the train stations as well. Definitely recommend for stay.

Lovely modern little hotel. Very well placed for everything, and just round the corner from Moorfields Station. Very comfy beds, and well designed bedroom with everything you could wish for in it. All the fittings were really nice quality and fantastic rainfall shower with a separate hand shower as well. Not huge rooms but very functional, cheerful colours, and 2 easy chairs as well. Would stay there again as very good prices as well. All the staff were lovely and so very helpful.

Very nice hotel in central location in the Cotton quarter so hotel rooms have cotton theme and are bright + trendy. Easy walk to city centre and Albert docks. Good transport links nearby as Liverpool underground just around the corner. Good quality breakfast. Some great restaurants, pubs and bars nearby. Would recommend The Old Bank for food and Slaughterhouse for music/dance.

First time staying here and I’m sure it won’t be the last. Absolutely lovely hotel couldn’t fault it. Good location for what we wanted and a good price for the centre of Liverpool. Complimentary snacks in the room, amazing shower and one of the comfiest beds I’ve slept in in years. Lovely breakfast also, whilst we stuck with the continental it was nice to also have the option the order a full English if we had wanted. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Liverpool.

IHG platinum member, so used to the brand. First stay in a Hotel Indigo. Chose 'boutique' for my wife's birthday.
What can I say… It seems like very little went right for us.
First room (411) had a broken fridge (no idea how this wasn't known about as the contents were room temp), a chipped and cracked sink (totally visible to anyone with eyes) and no complimentary drinks or snacks (a minor detail).
We were moved to another room (404), which initially seemed to resolve our issues, but a shortly afterwards developed an air conditioning fault (it was muggy outside).
After getting ready for the evening, we reported the fault before going out. We returned, merry, to a warm room but resolved to persevere. The night was warm, but who wants to move after midnight?
The next morning we soon felt the heat in a South facing room with no working air conditioning. Waking us earlier than expected.
We had chosen to lounge with breakfast in bed, which arrived on time but without milk for the cereal or coffee! This was resolved by calling room service who fixed it by bringing up a cereal bowl filled with milk.
All in all, this was not on a par with stays in lower bracket IHG hotels, despite the premium brand.
We were given a partial refund for the room, though as the payment was already taken, I wait to see if this is done.

Great stay, really nice hotel. Clean rooms, fab shower and quite really nice staff. Breakfast is delicious. Great location. Highly recommend. Only tip Don't eat in restaurant, Marco steakhouse is expensive and food does not live up to expense.

Room decor is simple but nice with all the essentials you would need. Complimentary snacks and drinks in the room are a nice touch. Lovely shower! The bar area downstairs has a nice feel to it. The breakfast was simple but nice, a few more options on the buffet would be advisable. Location was perfect for us in terms of the train station and sights such as the international slavery museum.

The ladies on the front check in desk were extremely friendly and a pleasure to talk to. The hotel has modern decor and furniture. I would call it plush and classy. My wife was suitably impressed with my choice. Would be hard pushed to get a more central location midway between the dock and Matthews Street.

A great hotel in the business district of the city. Being close to the waterfront it is a good location for all the attractions at the Albert Dock or trips on the river. The Liverpool One shopping centre is only about a five-minute walk away and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants in the surrounding area.

Great venue with very friendly and helpful staff. Although our room wasn't ready when we arrived, it was quickly resolved and some complementary drinks were provided as an apology. Great customer service. Perfect location near the docks and easy enough to make your way out into the town.

Great hotel. Stylish without being pretentious. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Superb buffet breakfast. Cocktails are to die for even if a little pricey.

Lovely hotel, good rooms, good choice of snacks and drinks for the superior room. Food of a high standard. Only negative would be a 10% service charged is automatically added to the restaurant bill. I would have given a tip as the service was very good, just don't feel it was advertised well enough that it would be added.

Stayed at hotel indigo for 2 nights. The hotel was in a prime spot, close to Albert Dock and the Cavern Club. Stayed in a superior room that was spacious and clean. All staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for my birthday with my partner. Great location, comfy beds. Parking is nearby, on booking it suggests the capital car park (discount is offered through the hotel but it can actually be cheaper to book here online). Excellent, and I mean excellent food. Staff were all really nice, a special mention to Keeley who made us feel very welcome in the restaurant.

What a truly enjoyable place to stay. Plush decor, great atmosphere, but what makes this such a great place to stay are the staff. Everybody goes that extra mile to make your stay really special. I've been back many times. Perfectly located for town centre and the wonderfully refurbished docks and Riverside bars and restaurants.

Perfect location! Short stroll to most attractions and places of interest. Extremely comfortable bed. Spotless boutique design room with dressing robe, nicely stocked free mini fridge, and hot shower, great after a long day sight seeing! Dined in house (Marco Pierre White) for evening meal which was both delicious but nice attention to detail. Our server was Fab too! Breakfast was varied and beautifully presented buffet style, with the added option of cooked breakfast too. This hotel is organised with friendly well trained and informative staff, nothing too much trouble for them! Only slight negative, drinks are pricey! But will return. Highly recommend ☺

I am staying at the Hotel Indigo in Liverpool for a business trip and couldn't recommend it more. The hotel and the rooms are unique and finished and kept to a very high standard. The food in the restaurant is fantastic and I cannot compliment the staff enough. They are extremely friendly and approachable. I am not used to travelling on my own and the staff have made me feel so comfortable and at ease. 10/10

Just had three great days at the Indigo Hotel. Breakfast had everything you could wish for. Daniel (Scottish waiter) was lovely. Nothing was a bother to him. The mini bar was full of soft drinks, crisps and a couple of chocolate bars, which was free and restocked everyday… Handy for the midnight munchies. All the hotel staff were very friendly and most helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for a work week — excellent service, great rooms, delicious food! There's no old carpeting in the rooms which gives them a cleaner feel. My room was very nice and comfortable, and I particularly loved the water pressure in the showers — great after a long day! The staff are all very friendly, particularly the breakfast team. It's really nice getting down to breakfast and starting the day with nice coffee, great food and smiley faces around you. There's also hassle-free Wi-Fi everywhere, which means you can sit in the fancy lounge and enjoy your fancy tea and relaxing music while working away on your laptop. Will definitely come back!

A lovely hotel. A great feel to the restaurant very nice rooms with a great shower and comfortable beds. The food was also great and the small gym is clean tidy and well laid out. A very nice stay!

Stayed 2 nights clean room beautifully decorated. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast with hot and cold options. They easily accommodated our eating requirements as Muslims in a very friendly manner. Central Liverpool so you can easily walk. Parking close by with reduced rates because your staying at the hotel. Just ask at the reception.

Stayed for 1 night, great location close to everything we stayed in room 405 room a tad small but very clean, free mini bar with 2 bottles of wine, 2 bottles of beer, water, chocolate & crisps (just the pillows were a bit hard) we did eat at the Marco Pierre resturant food was good but wasn't worth the money (little disappointed) but have to say breakfast was excellent & lots of choice! Staff were very friendly & helpfully.

Great hotel, we'll be returning there for sure if we find ourselves way back to L'pool. Only issue is loud AC in room and no parking within the area of a hotel (public parking proposed by Hotel is £8 per day after 'special offer discount' applied by hotel)

It was a disappointing stay. I've been at Hotel Indigo in Hongkong and it was most of the memorable hotels I've ever been to. So I guess, I've had high expectations. My room was small, dark and unclean. There was a stain on the pillow and some hairs too. I reported this to the reception and they were very apologetic about it. I appreciate the effort they made and I was promptly moved to another room. I also received complementary drinks vouchers. Sadly, the new room was only partially better. First impression was okay but a closer look revealed the well used state. There was peeling wallpaper, chipped paint, damaged floorboards and a rug that looked like it had never been hoovered. I did sleep well and I enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Staff was very nice and I'm sure they are doing their best. But the rooms definitely need some attention to detail.

Staff really friendly, easy check in. Our room was clean and quiet even though it was at the front of the building. Staff in the restaurant morning and evening efficient and the food excellent. Everyone helpful and would stay here again. Thanks to Sam on reception who helped my daughter booking our stay.

Great location although parking was confusing. Ended up at the "Capitol Parking" which is a short walk. Comfortable rooms and top notch staff. Room service was tasty except for the penne arabiatta, I would give that one a miss. I would happily stay again.

Located near to the waterfront, walking distance to various bars and restaurants. Well decorated and appointed rooms. We were given complementary proseccco as we went away for a special occasion. Bar area is very nice and was quite lively, serves a good breakfast.

Lovely hotel, staff very welcoming. Had make over since the last time we stayed. Breakfast is no longer buffet style, but ordered and brought to table, very nice. Rooms are quite large and include safe and small fridge, which is a bonus. Location wise you are two minute walk away from Pier Head and Albert Dock, also town centre, so very central for all attractions.

Nice boutique hotel. However for the price I thought the room and bathroom were very compact. Room was quiet and staff pleasant. Good selection for breakfast. Some snacks and soft drinks provide for free within the room. Bed was very comfortable.

Hotel Indigo is on Liverpool's near dockfront Chapel Street and provides a good compromise of location to being relatively "in town" while remaining far enough away to be quiet and inexpensive. The rooms themselves are light, colourful and fun and ours was particularly clear. The restaurant was a highlight, with good food, if perhaps at inflated prices. Perhaps the hotel room itself is a little over valued at £80 a night; but deals can be made in advance. One thing of note is that the hotel itself has no parking, there is a car park close buy but at £12.50 a night, this could easily add up the expense.

One of the nicer hotels I have stopped in. Only flaw was parking was a 5 minute walk away. However it's in the centre of Liverpool so what do you expect. Great rooms. Nice touches. Good food. Nice bar. Excellent.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. The staff are second to none and without question the friendliest and most amenable I've ever had the pleasure to interact with. The design of the hotel is really nice and contemporary, without being too out there. I highly recommend eating in Marco Pierre White's restaurant inside as well — I last ate here two years ago and the portions were tiny but not this time, this time everything was delicious and extremely filling. Hotel Indigo is definitely one of the best hotels in Liverpool, bar none.

Only stayed for one night but was a very enjoyable relaxing stay. Rooms were warm and cosy, with a decent shower as well. Located very well, surprised how close it was to the shopping centre. Would definitely stay again.

Just returned home after a fabulous weekend in a wonderful city. Stayed in Hotel Indigo for two nights. Check-in was easy. Room was more than we expected from a " boutique" hotel (complimentary mini bar was a nice touch). Staff were on the ball and helpful. Dining staff were friendly and helpful (even arranged poached eggs when we asked). Will who works on the bar comes in for a special mention and thanks. He was our unofficial guide who gave us tips on what to do and what to see (and makes a mean cappuccino) So a big thanks to Will from us. All and all, a perfect hotel in a great location for exploring the city. We shall return F and V.

Good value hotel with spotlessly white, cookie-cutter chic design, elevated by truly outstanding service from the staff, who were exceptionally warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. Normally I go out of my way to research great bars and restaurants before visiting a city — and yet upon arrival at the Indigo, found that their concierge's list of suggested bars and restaurants had *every single one* of my ideas on — including hidden speakeasies and top brunch spots. Add to this little touches during our stay such as bending the rules on late check-out and complimentary drinks vouchers, and it's clear that this hotel is staffed by a wonderful bunch of people who really understand their customers needs and want them to have a great stay.

Amazed by all the super positive reviews This hotel is fine, the rooms are a little small, the beds are very soft which can be good or bad depending on your preference. The hotel suggests it boutique which it certainly isn't. Its half corporate half new and trendy and ends up being a bit disappointing on both fronts. If you can get it for £99 with dinner like one poster did it would be a good value stay. Moderate your expectations — its okay.
