Quality hotel drinks food service is amazing and nothing is to much trouble.

Lovely hotel in perfect location. Great views from every window. Big rooms very comfy beds, had really good sleep. Buffet breakfast was good, slightly limited choice (could be due to Covid). Friendly, helpful staff. Overall, hotel really good value — would recommend to anyone!

The rooms are comfortable with everything you need. If there’s something you’ve forgotten e. G. Toothbrush they provide one. Very comfortable bed. Staff warm and friendly and excellent breakfast. They have adapted brilliantly to the pandemic and every effort has been made to ensure your stay is safe. Lovely dock view from our room with iconic buildings on the horizon. Will definitely be staying again!

Really clean and tidy room with everything we needed. Lovely old building in great surroundings! Only negative would be the strange smell that seems to be everywhere in the building. Great stay though, would stay again.

Situated at the Albert Dock. Very close to shops. Rooms were lovely and clean. Breakfast was really good and plenty to choose from. Very helpful and friendly staff. I will definitely return to this hotel when in Liverpool.

Stayed here for 1 night whilst visiting Liverpool. Great location directly in the Royal Albert docks. Our room had a great view directly over the water. The family room we had was simple and requires everything you need for a couple of nights stop over. Spacious with storage facilities. Comfortable beds. TV, tea and coffee making facilities. The usual. The breakfast downstairs in the morning was of a standard quality for such a hotel. Nothing to write home about but all the basics for English breakfast and continental breakfast were all there. A perfect start to the day. Only reason not to give it 5 stars was that it was not stated that parking is off site in the q park car park for the Liverpool One shopping centre. Which wasn't to the end of the earth however not so practical for an easy quick checkout. At £11 For the 24 hours found it reasonable for a city centre. All in all. Would recommend this hotel. If your after luxury go elsewhere however the standard here is high. And you could do alot worse.

Good location on the waterfront and a sympathetic conversion of a Victorian warehouse building. Staff friendly. Room ok but bed a bit on the small side. Bathroom tired and an unpleasant smell of drains from the sink. Breakfast was truly dire — the cheapest, nastiest ingredients badly presented and served. For a 4 star hotel charging in excess of £200 per night I expect much, much better than this. I would not stay here again.

Great staff, room and location. Conveniently located in the Albert Dock the rooms at this hotel are really nice. The brick walls and ceiling set them apart from most other hotel rooms. My room also looked out over the dock which looks lovely first thing in the morning or lit up at night. The staff were fantastic, nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The breakfast was nice with a good choice and the lovely view out the window made for a relaxing and nice experience. I would recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Great location. Friendly staff. In an ideal location to get the multiple places of interest. Our twin bedroom was massive. Very clean. We were offered fan at reception. It reached our room before I did. We were asked if we needed help getting tickets to a major sold out on line attraction. They rang up and then called us with the info minutes after we got to our rooms. We got the tickets! We ask for restaurant recommendations for a fish meal. We were given three with two discount vouchers. So within 30 minutes of arriving we had 4 different staff, making us feel special. Fabulous hotel. Fabulous staff.

Stayed here for a local wine tasting evening. Quite quirky for a "chain" hotel as the original brick, domed ceilings are everywhere and they have retained the original exterior, dockside. The staff were incredibly helpful, and very knowledgeable about the docks and the locale. Amazing view (see photo)! Our room was clean and bright. The reason it only scored 3 stars? The mattress was pretty uncomfortable, breakfast was mediocre at best and the extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work, making for a very slippery floor after we had both showered.

Where do I begin? Beautiful rooms, Amazing views, great breakfast! We had the misfortune of catching a fire drill at 1230 am which was not fun with two kiddos let me tell ya! But the staff were anazing and helped us out through it all, and even gave us warming blankets and drinks after! They also pushed all of our check in times back a bit so we could sleep in a bit! If I could give 10 stars I would! Deff coming back here again :)

For what we needed it is in a great location with views across the Mersey. Breakfast is included. The hotel is built in an old warehouse with spacious corridors and rooms. There is no mini bar or safe but there is a bar in reception. The Wi-Fi worked well and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. All good.

Room and breakfast was lovely, but unfortunately ever time we returned to the room neither of our cards would open the door so it was a trek back down to reception which was really annoying as we were in and out a lot. Great location.

My husband and I visited Liverpool in Feb this year and although it was a cold time of year we where warmly greeted at the holiday inn albert dock Staff where first class and lovely people So much so we are going back to Liverpool in June and no s uprising as to whitch hotel we will book Thanks to the holiday inn for making our stay perfect.

We meet with the manageress to gain an understanding of how the hotel operates, and found it was very clean and tidy despite some of the rooms being in the process of renovation. Staff were helpful polite and clear… and the chairs were comfy in the lobby. All round a well kept and welcoming place.

Really nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff. We had a family room overlooking the quay with views of the Liver Building. The room was spacious and clean on arrival. Just a short walk to several carparks (pay & display), the Echo Arena (opposite), the Mersey Ferry, The Liverpool musuem (free entry) and various restaurants. Liverpool One shopping centre also close by (10 min walk). The hotel includes free breakfast which can get busy at peak times so try and get there before 09:00am. Otherwise expect a short wait for a table. We will definitely book again and we loved the area, the hotel itself is lovely and we loved Liverpool.

The rooms are decent size and the building is really interesting. The breakfast is pretty poor though, even if it is free. Parking is absolutely ridiculous though, up to £20 for 24hours with no discount available for guests.

Exceptional value for money. Lovely size room, very clean and a comfortable bed. Friendly staff, great breakfast and surprisingly peaceful location while being at the heart of everything. Already rebooking for our 2nd visit in 2018 along with friends. We've found a gem. Fallen in Love with Liverpool.

Excellent.! A lovely old character warehouse building — Right on the riverside! Very professional and friendly staff. Lovely, warm, clean and modern rooms with a laid back and relaxed atmosphere. Brilliant English breakfast buffet — Yum Yum And you are right in the middle of Town / Albert Dock for nightlife. Would defo recommend to all levels of traveller. Perfect location :-)

This is one of the nicest hotels that I've stayed. Location is excellent and the rooms are really nice. Also, the hotel staff are brilliant and very helpful and polite! One of the best and I'd definitely recommend this hotel!

The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel and rooms were clean and breakfast was good! The only downside for me was the bed was very soft but overall we enjoyed our stay and the hotel was situated in an ideal spot for our sightseeing trip.

Decent holiday Inn express. Had views over the dock and a big room, certainly bigger than the usual HI express. Decent service and the usual basic breakfast.

Cheap and cheerful. Simple breakfast, croissants were good. Excellent location. Would highly recommend staying at Albert Dock.

Recently used the training facilities to deliver Health and Safety Training the staff, rooms and service where fantastic and the price was extremely reasonable. We will booking more courses there in the future and would highly recommend the Hotel for location!

This hotel is in the best area of Liverpool. You get great views from your window for sure. There's a complementary breakfast, which has a good enough selection of food and great tea choices, of course. It's easy to get to anywhere in the city from this area. Very lively and there's loads of restaurants and pubs nearby. Kid friendly too, there's an indoor play center just beside it for little kids.

Excellent location & a great view from our room overlooking the Dock. All the staff are friendly & helpful. Only downside is the carpark is a bit of a walk, best drop your heavy bags off before parking up.

Very helpful staff, good breakfast available to take away. However parking costs were extortionate and the room was roasting with no air con.

My recent stay at the HI Express, Albert Dock was excellent. I stay in HI Express a lot for work and so I am pretty accustomed to what to expect and almost always happy with my stay. The Albert Dock however was a step better than most of the HI Express I stay at. The building is a period dock building and full of character. The breakfast area was very nice and quite cosy with views over the dock and Mersey. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I stayed this time with my family rather than on business and the location was excellent for both shopping and evening entertainment. I would highly recommend the hotel for both value and quality.

Completely rubbish. Room was too hot, could hear everything from the other rooms at night. Got woken up at 7am by the cleaning staff banging around outside are room. Plus noise coming from outside (deliverymen) Don't get me started on the breakfast. The worst selection I've ever seen.

We stayed at this hotel as brilliantly situated for the Echo arena, hotel was clean but the carpets/wood effect lino was a little tired. The breakfast was ok but nothing special the main reason being the selection of the hot buffet — sausage, scrambled egg and beans not really a cooked breakfast… no bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes etc. Couldn't see the point of three items? The main minus was the noise if someone in the next room walk around their room the floor boards creaked in our room (not much good during the night) people in the corridors throughout the night (bar open till 4AM) they may as well have been in our room, in the morning at 7:30 the premier inn below us decided too roll out their dustbins (all 12 of them) across the cobbles just to make them rattle as much as possible and just to make sure everyone was wide awake for your sparse breakfast, I appreciate this is a city hotel and the noise from the bars was no problem but the windows in this hotel are inadequate they are not double glazed simply a secondary frame and therefore not very noise abating. Also the reception was located on the second floor with one lift out of order and the other the slowest ever.

Fantastic room, lovely fresh feel, really clean and really comfy bed The view of the docs from the room was amazing, the only thing missing was bacon in the breakfast menu. Grade 1 listed building of fantastic quality.

This is one of my favourite hotels on the docks its rite in the heart of the docks so your views are of the docks themselves its clean cosy and a all road nice place to stay.

Great location 10' from center, amazing view from room, clear, nice room with big bath, nice staff… poor breakfast!

This has to be one of my best overnight stays in Liverpool. The booking company had booked us in with with our first name rather than our surname. The staff must have spent half an hour trying to find it, which they did! When I asked if they did veggie sausages for 3 vegetarians they told me if they didn't have any in they would go to Tescos. As a family we had a fantastic stay would recommend. Fantastic room, fantastic staff amazing breakfast. Thankyou.

The hotel was ok, the room was quite big and clean. The position is ok, a little bit outside from the center of the city, but in about ten minutes by walk you reach Liverpool 1…

Oops! Terrible Wi-Fi Problem on Oct. 28 ~ Oct. 29. On Oct. 27, the data speed of Wi-Fi was great. However, the problem started on Oct. 28 before 4 a. M. The Wi-Fi problem had been continued to Oct. 30. It was really terrible living without Wi-Fi in foreign country. Other facilities were great. Parking was NOT good. Breakfast was good. Thank you for your efforts.
