Clean, well equipped room. Location at end of m57. Staff friendly and efficient.

Average Premier Inn, fairly standard with big screen TVs. A large restaurant is attached. Food comes quickly, all staff are helpful and pleasant, not bad.

Another great premier inn and a beef eater next door.

The extra folding bed provided was a very hard mattress. Regular bed lovely and soft great to sleep on. Fine generally but folding bed too hard and also noisy road outside. Great and convenient steak restaurant next door 20 meters away!

Went with my mum on Wednesday tea time. We had a lovely meal served by very friendly and polite staff, I really recommend the Packet Steamer, a lovely place to eat.

Lovely spacious, comfortable rooms for the price. Quiet and not disturbed by traffic noise even though next to major junction. Blackout curtains up. Hairdryer and fan in the room if needed. Easy to adjust heating but not air con. Plenty of parking. Friendly, courteous staff. Only criticism is the inflexible options for breakfast but this might be because we didn't pre-book. Just wanted a bacon roll but they just did all you could eat cooked for £8.99 or all you can eat continental. Breakfast stops at 10.30am. There is a Weatherspoons in Maghull with more flexible options.

The rooms are always clean and tidy and the staff are great. The food at the restaurant be t door is also lovely.

Always know what you get with a premier inn. Silent night sleep. Massive bed and massive tv. Recommend paying for the breakfast as worth every penny.

Overnight stay, very comfortable bed and pillow! Good position for the motorway, very little traffic noise in the room we had. Friendly and helpful staff. Visiting relatives so didn't use the adjacent Beefeater. Have stayed before and will again.

Whenever we visit family in aintree we book here. The rooms are always clean and comfy, staff are very friendly and helpful. Accommodation and breakfast are incredibly reasonably priced. We'll be back.

This hotel is located conveniently near the end of the M57 and M58 and is just 10 minutes walk from Old Roan station where there are trains every 15 mins to the centre of Liverpool. We found it was great as a family place to stay as we could access it and park easily then have a short walk to the station so we didn't have to bother about driving into the centre of Liverpool. It's a fairly standard Premier Inn but we found that the staff were exceptionally friendly (although this is Liverpool which we found to be a very welcoming place! ), the hotel very well kept, and as with many Premier Inns, it's very good value. We were fortunate to get an enormous room (133) and the only complaint would be that the bed was so far from the TV you'd need binoculars to see it! The free Wi-Fi here was fast which can't be said of all Premier Inns and the TV was also good quality. The only big down side, as with many Premier Inns, is the attached pub/restaurant. Here it's a Beefeater and in contrast to the Premier Inn the staff were generally aloof and disinterested and the food a disappointment. There were long delays in being served at dinner and breakfast was okay but the coffee wasn't hot and the stock of pastries ran out as we arrived and wasn't replenished. Notwithstanding that though, it's a good choice for a short break or stopover in Liverpool … but it would be worth finding somewhere else to eat.

Check in and out were both painless, staff were great and the room was clean. Everything expected was provided, no complaints.

Everything as expected from a premier inn. Clean room and friendly staff. Only issue is the bed wasn't as comfortable as I'd have liked it.

Travelled as a couple. Very friendly staff and great service. Room cleanliness maintained throughout our stay. Lot's of parking spaces if you're driving. Uber, taxi and other transport options into city centre available. Will definitely return.

Stay here a lot to visit relatives, always great service and quiet, good breakfasts with clean and smart rooms.

Use this one a few times. Never been disappointed and the staff are brilliant. Rooms are what I expected and clean and comfortable. I have even parked a coach in there car park. Plenty of room.

The hotel is ideally situated at Switch Island at the end of the M57 and M58, close to Aintree Race Course. The rooms are comfortable and staff very pleasant.

Location for the hotel is brilliant, just off the motorway. Not too far away from shopping centre with decent restaurants. Service is good, very friendly with a quick check in and check out. The room was big, clean and comfy. I was only disappointed by the fact there is no air conditioning, you can heat up the room but not cool it, they do however provide a fan. I would definitely stay again and have recommended the hotel to friends.

Ideally situated for visiting Liverpool as its a couple of minutes from the motorway and less than half an hours drive into the city. Add to this the fact that it's been refurbished since our previous stay, and we paid £34 for a Monday night stay — what's not to like. Decent sized wall mounted tele, powerful hot shower and a comfy bed… bargain!

As the hotel is near a busy intersection, the rooms have been insulated, however as a result the rooms are too hot. They could do with fans or air con. Otherwise it was a great nights sleep. Staff were friendly, large car park, and very convenient location (at switch island).

We stayed at Castleford, Xscape which is a great location. Lots of things to do bear bum staff were friendly and hotel room spacious & clean.

Friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms. Like many budget hotels the room offered drink making facilities but not enough ingredients to make more than one drink which isn't ideal in a double room. The location was ok but very poorly signposted which made getting into the car park difficult. Was given 2 keycards to the room but only one worked. (which is confusing and frustrating at 4am when you've had too much to drink) would stay again though if I needed to stay overnight in this area again.

My wife is disabled and requires the use of a wheelchair to move around and access to a suitably spacious wetroom facility. I was pleased to say that the hotel was excellent on both counts — the room and bathroom were very spacious and suited our needs very well indeed. The only downside of our stay was that the room was insufficently heated. The room was made up of two rooms knocked together — hence the abundance of space but the only heater was for a single room and wasn't 'man enough' to do the job of heating this large open space. Had we realised we would have taken a portable electric heater and I'm sure this would have resolved the problem. The lack of a heated towel rail was also a little disappointing but overall the room was great and we will definitely stay at the hotel again. The staff were very firendly and helpful and apart from the heating issue it was a great location and facility for a stay to visit Liverpool and the Gormley statues at Crosby beach.

Stayed for 2 nights for a family get-together. Hotel staff were excellent. Room was good, clean, comfortable. Only 30 mins of free Wi-Fi is tight! Didn't eat at the harvester, especially as the breakfast was way over-priced.

Great hotel and harvester has very good food and staff,, highly recommend this.
