The Food was Delicious, The owners were really funny and talkative. All in all, a great place to go to.

I absolutely enjoyed the fish pie I had. Affordable price and quality food. It’s such nice to know it is dog friendly place. Shaun is lovable and was no bother at all :)

Booked in for dinner and wasn't disappointed. Opted for the mixed grill and probably was the best I have had. They can get very greasy but not this one. Cooked to perfection with homemade chips and salad with a Diane Sauce. The better half opted for the Fillet Steak with the peppercorn sauce. The plate was brimming. She couldn't manage the chips but a thoughtful husband helped her out. We finished the meal sharing the homemade Cherry Crumble (this is cooked to order that's how fresh it was so be prepared for a 15 minute wait) and it was amazing with the custard. Couldn't fault the food and the service. It was so good we have booked again for tonight as I'm dying to try the Cottage Pie 🙂

We went today for some lunch last minute and they was so accommodating excellent home cooked food great portion size and a lovely friendly service anyone wanting a lovely meal out with children or without make sure you pay them a visit you won’t be disappointed 😊

Fantastic home made chips, food portions great size. Slightly pricey for the area but a fantastic play area for the kids.

My husband and I went for lunch yesterday with our little boy, the food was delicious, staff were so helpful, friendly and very quick at service. Lovely play area for the children outside, I’m looking forward to going back! Please give this place a try if you haven’t already.

Lovely lunch today in the beer garden. First time eating out since March and I felt so relaxed due to your social distancing system. Little boy had the garden and play area to himself — brilliant! Food was lovely. Thank you we will be back soon!

Professional, socially spaced tables, delicious limited menu with exceptional service. All aspects of Social Distancing were taken care of.
The food was delicious and there are now light bite options of a selection of main courses — a fantastic idea for those like me with smaller appetites.

For a break from cooking we decided to have a change and ordered take out food, 2 fish and chips, scampi and 2 chicken burger and it was ready to collect bang On time and was absolutely delicious. Thankyou.

Me my wife and Sister just been, the barman could not do enough for us, the Fillet Steak cooked to perfection, Smoked Haddack and Prawn Lasagne brilliant. Will defo be going again.

Decided to go and try out this quaint little country pub and was not at all disappointed. The staff were very helpful and attentative the setting and surroundings were lovely and cosy. We ended up booking for mothers day. Looking forward to going back.

Food is fantastic, the two staff they had on were absolutely fantastic, Jess behind the bar and the young lady serving meals could not do enough for you. Will defo stay here again the next time I'm in the areas.

Nice food. Meticulously presented bar, lounge and outdoor seating area. Kids play area too if needed. We aren't regulars but always seems busy when we go.

Great place to stay if you're travelling through North Lincolnshire or visiting the area. Very comfortable well furnished and quiet accommodation and lovely food, at breakfast and dinner. Highly recommended.

Lovely couple to work for. Always good quality food with locally sourced produce and always homemade;in my opinion much better than mass produced generic meals that are available nationwide. I clean the rooms and like to think that I do a good job.

The room we have is well appointed, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast has been wonderful and very filling. The owners are friendly and helpful. Free Wi-Fi in the rooms as well, although the signal is variable. All in all a very comfortable base for a family stay in the area!

A traditional country pub, serving high quality meals prepared as far as possible using local ingredients. Plenty of car parking space and easy access. Made a further visit about 3 weeks later. Delicious lamb hotpot.

A great place for a beer or a half pint of dry cider and good pub food. This is the quintessential country pub.

Excellent When arrived there was shown to our room, rooms are superb and clean and tidy beds are soft and comfy no noise even tho your near the main road staff were so freindly felt so relaxed would definetly reccomend to freinds and family got to be one of the best hotels futurerail have booked.

A quiet and homely country pub serving generous portions of award-winning food, have always found the meals tasty. Generally a safe bet, snug and spotless, always had friendly but non-intrusive service.

I missed the ferry back to Finland and stayed in Thorton Hunt Inn in June 2012. (My old Matchless broke down on the way back from Highlands. ) This is a very nice place also for bikers. Thornton Hunt Inn was a very peacefull place to stay. The owners and the staff were friendly and understood my situation. I got all the help I needed from them. I'll be back some day. Ps. Local ales! A nice and quiet place for lunch. I had very tasty Fish and Chips, with fresh fish and an abundance of chips (possibly too many). On the down side, the ketchup was a bit too vinegary but this did little to detract from the meal.
