If I could give it 6 stars I would, stunningly beautiful place, specially at nite with the log burner on, a really cosy, luxurious place to be. The fishing is second to none with some truly amazing once in a lifetime fish to catch. amazing. thank you Amy and Paul.

Just had 4 days here lodges were great we stopped I'm lavender it was so comfortable fishing not so good its November. but thanks to the owner my son caught a 11 pound carp the owners were lovely and helpful be defo back.

Absolutely amazing place! Cabins are gorgeous… log burner fire to keep warm, fully equipped and clean. Great stock of fish in the lake. Fantastic owners Amy and Paul nothing too much trouble and always on hand for any questions or a chat. Will definitely be back and will recommend to everyone! Can't wait to come back.

Beautiful lodges and site which make for an amazing relaxing break. Our third time of staying and definitely not the last! Hubby loves the fishing and being right off the decking of the lodge means I can watch and chill. Stunning place which we'd highly recommend. Owners Paul and Amy, and their daughter Lucy are perfect hosts and are lovely people to know. Thank you again for our brilliant stay.

Just got bk from a perfect weekend at lakeside lodges and personally I would recommend it to anybody, accommodation was perfect fishing was perfect I will definitely be returning.

Well what a weekend in paradise.
4 of us stayed in one of the new lodges which was really clean, loads of pots pans etc which helped. Its an absolutely lovely place. The owners are really nice people, they don't hassle you but they are there to give advise or just a chat if wanted.
loads of fish in the lake you can see cruising about during the day.
I will 100% be returning next year.
I would definatly reccomend.

We have just come back from long weekend there and the lodges are stunning and really looked after. The fishing is good too with some lovely fish stocked in there. The views from the lodge were stunning in all directions. Highly recommend this place and Amy and Paul.

Myself and my husband have just returned from a few days break at Lakeside Fishing Lodges, they had everything we needed and were warm and cosy, my husband caught some nice fish and we will definitely return.

Had an amazing time & experience at lakeside fishing lodges. We Caught plenty of carp & a lovely sized tench during our stay, the Fish & the lake was in great condition and well looked after. Lodges are very cosy and in perfect condition, exceptionally clean and full of amenities with fresh towels and bedding. The great extras of having the experience to collect your own fresh eggs for breakfast and wood for the log burner. Excellent communication from the owners who checked up on how our stay was and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay. Will definatly be booking to stay here again soon! Thankyou very much!

Absolutely delighted with my experience on this lake, Accommodation was faultless and care and attention put in lake and lodges make the experience both safe and enjoyable, would definitely recommend and will definitely be back

We came on Friday and stayed till Monday. Absolutely amazing place for a chilled out relaxing weekend. Great fishing and all fish are in immaculate condition. Amy and Paul are the most down to earth people you would ever meet, ever so friendly and took the time to come see all the lodges on Saturday night to see if we was ok and share story’s about there life’s and I for one enjoyed listening to them.
The lodge had three bedrooms with everything you could ask for 100% clean and tidy. We will definitely return.

Just completed our fishing weekend away here at lakeside lodges. We was warmly welcomed by friendly owners, they had lit our log burner previous to our arrival which made the cabin lovely and warm for us. The cabin was well stocked up with necessities. The view we had from the dragonfly lodge of the lake was beautiful. Fishing started off slow due to cold weather but soon picked up throughout our stay, ending the visit with two lovely mirror carps. Already planning our revisit in the summer time next year!
Tip for people fishing — we found fishing a lot more active from a peg down the other side of the lake near the house! Also pva bags go down a treat with the fish with a singal slow sinking or pop up hookbait because of the small amount of weed on the bottom!

Amazing place and might I add not just for people who want to fish. It’s truly beautiful here. The bed is so comfy I woke up at 5 because I had the best night sleep and the cabin is that nice I could actually live here. I am glad I have another 2 nights here. I will 100% be recommending this place and Amy is also lovely! (Haven’t spoken to her partner)

The accommodation was top class. Beautiful lodges in beautiful surroundings with very attentive hosts. The spacious decking allowed myself and my Uncle to fish from them with plenty of room especially for his wheelchair.

Wonderful location, lodges are very well equipped and spotless, as is the lake and surroundings. The owners are lovely and down to earth folk happy to help and nothing is too much trouble. Enjoyed our weekend as 4 blokes fishing, couldn't fault it!

A Truly Idylic Spot. Just spent a brilliant 2 days at the lodges as a party of 5 blokes on a works fishing trip. The lodge was amazing value for money, equipped with everything you need, fridge, cooker, microwave, toaster and all the pots, pans n equipment all provided. Shower was excellent n bedrooms spacious n spotless. A really luxurious lodge for the money we paid. The lake is also fantastic, well stocked with good sized, pristine fish n if you pick your bait well you're in for a busy fishing experience. The owners Paul and Amy are a genuinely nice friendly couple n anything you need you'll be provided with. I asked for extra bedding on arrival n sure enough I had it before the day was over. Good luck to u both with the Grand Design project (which isn't intrusive to guests at all I might add), we'll be coming back to see the end result. Thanks again for a brilliant fishing break from the blokes from Hull. All in all I'm giving this place an excellent score because it really deserves it.

What a great place! Clean, well presented, the fishing is top drawer! Really is great fun, but also plenty of big fish for the serious angler. It’s genuinely the best lodge/lake we’ve stayed In. Great, down to earth owners, peaceful, generally just a fantastic place!

Such a lovely relaxing place, we had a brilliant time. The hosts Amy and Paul were very friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the fishing and the beautiful view over the lake, we can’t wait to come back.

Fantastic hosts Paul and Amy amazing fishing got my pb 18 pound common carp excellent accommodation and venue would highly recommend.

A wonderful hidden gem. Beautiful cosy cabins with crackling wood burning fireplace. Very relaxing and great atmosphere. Great wildlife with the swans and ducks on the water. Enjoyed a great time with friends and family.

Spent a weekend here for my wife's birthday. We found the accommodation absolutely outstanding, very clean and spacious, well furnished and comfortable. Large screen TV and Netflix at night, comfy bed and not forgetting the lovely views out on to the lake. 5/5 a great place for a relaxing stay or for fishing if that's your sport. We are bird watchers so stayed here due to it's close proximity to Frampton Marsh and highly recommend Lakeside to any other birders out there. The owners were on hand to answer any questions we had and were very friendly and helpful. Thank you very much!
