Very good breakfast more than enough to choose from even though breakfast had nearly ended.

Amazing food and the staff were so friendly and helpful, couldn’t do enough for us and our two children.

Very friendly staff. I ordered through the order and pay app and our drinks were poured straight away and brought over to our table. Both ordered the farm giant burger and was not disappointed at all, quickly brought out and cooked to perfection. Can highly recommend going here.

Absolutely lovely the staff couldn’t do enough for us especially Emma & Beckie food was great but it was the staff and the service that was above and beyond thank you. Can’t wait to come again.

Me and my family love windmill and there more or less every week! All the staff are lovely! We were looked after by Chris at the bar yesterday and Joseph who was the waiter. Chris was lovely and made sure everything was correct and a really nice guy. Joseph had us in stitches and had a banter with us and was really friendly and fun! It was so hot yesterday but they gave it there all and once again made us love coming back! Thanks guys! Please do not take the fully loaded chicken strippers off and please bring back the chocolate roulade 😁

Absolutely fab as always! One of our fave pubs to visit. Staff are friendly and food comes out pretty quickly! And it’s delicious!

Blooming amazing food. Great staff and the cakes are simply amazing. We went pre closure and we were treated like royalty. The staff couldnt so enough to help us and make us feel safe. The covid rules they have in place are great and make you feel very safe. Well done. Hope to see you all again soon.

I regularly visited Windmill Farm, and just wanted to say, amazing food, amazing venue and amazing customer service. Can’t wait for you to reopen.

Great place to visit whether it be for cake and coffee, buffet breakfast, something from the menu or a good old carvery… they even do homemade Yorkshire’s too… the cakes are huge but don’t worry if you don’t have room as they do cakeaway… can’t wait for all this to be over so we can come visit again.

We came about a month ago and it was all great, service was great and the Carvery was amazing. Even went for breakfast the next morning which also fab. Hopefully we will be able to visit again soon.

One of my favourite places to eat. Relaxed, friendly and good atmosphere. Food is always great and plentiful. I miss my coffee and cake during the day with friends. I miss catch up evening's with my bestie Michelle Tricker. I miss chilling here over a casual dinner with my family.

Safe and friendly atmosphere… I cant get enough of it. I'm always there with friends or family. Or sometimes on my own for a peacefull coffee break. Foods great staff are great. I recommend any one try it once. You will be back.

Food was good. Nice steak. Good service. We turned up 9.15pm in a group of 6 and a lot of tables said reserved dispite the late hour. If we hadn't took any notice of that we wouldn't have got a table. The others remained unused.

You can easily think carvery. It’s gonna be rubbish. But not here. Absolutely stunning offering on the carvery side that I actually make a point of staying nearby so I can visit this restaurant. Downside is the carvery closes at about 8pm. The restaurant menu continues and is in my experience excellent. I had the ribeye steak off the menu and it was perfectly cooked to medium rare and the peppercorn sauce was amazing. The selection of cakes is a cake eaters heaven. Not had one myself but they look stunning. Shame to eat them really. Worth a visit.

Been twice for a carvery now and it has been excellent! Fresh vegetables, four meats which you can have one of each, and choice if plate sizes, which is great for the kids as the smaller plates ideal. Staff are friendly and the queue for the carvery went down quick so didn't wait long. Recommend you book if it's a Sunday and there's more than two of you.

In fairness, the Windmill is what it is, and we booked to go there as we were taking our 19 month old granddaughter. This place is very child oriented, with its own dedicated play area. The food is average at best, and whilst the carvery vegetables were warm enough, it wasn't the tastiest carvery meal I've had. My wife ordered the sea bass, which she said was tasty, but cold, and we had no warning that her meal was on its way to the table, so she basically ate alone whilst the rest of us got our carvery meals. I guess the biggest issue was out of their control, as the air con wasn't working in the children's area, and as they quite rightly had the doors closed in this area for safeguarding reasons, it meant that we were all far too warm. We left in fact, and went to an entirely different venue for dessert as it was far too uncomfortable. I wouldn't say that I would never go there again, but certainly not without a child under 5, and certainly not if the air con isn't working.

We stopped off at Windmill Farm on the way home from the coast. Well what a great find. Food was great, better than expected. We had both the carvery and off the menu. Food off the menu came very quick. But was amazing. Those who had the carvery said the choice of meat and veg was the best they'd seen. We will be stopping off here again on our next trip away.

Great carvery, plus very good menu. Can recommend club sandwich. Staff are brilliant especially Rachel and Tom, polite and professional. I would employ them! Nice family atmosphere also great area for kids. Looking forward to going back.

Went on Saturday, busy, staff were great, friendly and helpful as I am in a wheel chair, but unfortunately the carvery was not very tasty. No taste in potatoes, and too much rosemary in with the pork, but the roast potatoes were very nice. Good portions of meat. But the dessert is excellent, cake slices are huge and taste wonderful. If you could put the Toby carvery in with the windmill staff and dessert you would have perfection. Great play area for kids too.

The staff were immediately friendly, guided my sister and I to a table. Served immediately at the paypoint. We had the carvery; beef just melted away, succulent and juicy, nice flavour, pork was good, vegetables all good, especially the cauliflower cheese and mashed potato. Lovely gravy, nice and thick. For dessert, I chose the fruit crumble of the day with custard; it turned out to be blackcurrant, it is quite possible that it was the best crumble I have ever tasted, it was sublime, it was shared with my sister because it was quite large. My sister was also impressed with the dessert — and our mother could make a fabulous crumble. The whole meal with drinks and a coffee was less than thirty quid — a bargain! Plus they have a fabulous range of enormous cakes, which will require sampling — obviously without a carvery first. Definitely coming again.

Windmill farm is an absolutely fabulous warm and welcoming place. Outstanding food fabulous excellent value for money. All the staff are all so friendly and helpful. Would recommend everyone to go and enjoy themselves there.

We had a great carvery for a great price massive portions. It was very busy but the queue was moving at a steady pace. All food was fresh and kept up with demand nothing ran out. The meat was amazing not dry at all it was gorgeous. Will deffinitely be going again and next time we will be having desert which looked incredible.

Really nice place to eat and drink. They offer a carvery service (throughout the week), but they also serve meals to order. We've had both and it's all good quality food. The cakes though, they're something to write home about! Absolutely huge, but also absolutely delicious — consider either sharing one or using their 'Cakeaway' service, so you can give yourself a break and continue later ;)

Service with a smile. Piping hot food. Very attentive staff. Lovely family atmosphere. Will be back again that's for sure!

Popped in for lunch on a Monday. Delighted to see they had 2 areas in the dining room, one for families and another for adults. Was quite busy but tables available in both areas. Nice menu with plenty of choice at reasonable prices. Carvery available as well. Good sized portions, we were too full for a pud. Good service as well. Would visit again.

The food is excellent and the cakes are huge, and the place is nice and welcoming. It's reasonably priced. Access is easy from the Bypass of Lincoln, and parking is free. There is an excellent children's play area with on screen video. Prices are reasonable, and the choice of food is very good. Overall well worth the visit.

Great New pub. We come here often. They have a great carvery. Always ask for a bit of every meat instead of just 1 or 2 as you get loads more that way.

We stayed at the ibis over the road and had dinner at the windmill twice over the tine we were there. The first time we both had the carvery, which was very good value for money and was nice. The next day my husband had fish and chips. He enjoyed it and I had carvery but today the potatoes were very salty. They immediately offered me different potatoes when I mentioned it and took them off of the carvery straight away.

Attentive, friendly staff. Carvery was was delicious, meat cooked to perfection. Plate sizes to suit all appetites Food could have been a little warmer but this is usual with most carverys. Cakes are not to be missed, a definite bonus which can be boxed and taken away if you're full up from the main course!

Really good carvery and reasonably priced with plenty of choice. Very busy but we got a table straight away and the Staff were really good. Lovely choice of ice cream and cake right beside the food order point which was very tempting and will definitely try next time. Overall big thumbs up.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, always there to make sure you have the best time, the function room is so nice and big and the rooms and food are excellent thoroughly recommend.

Excellent staff, the hotel needs updating and needs to invest in soundproofing as it's a very noisy hotel. The pub next door if ok very basic food.

Stayed here with family for 2 nights to attend a wedding. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. The staff were very polite and helpful, the room was very nice and great food to. Would definitely recommended this to everyone and would love to come back again our selves.

Staff were okay, nothing special. Room was good, a bit too much traffic noise (it was warm and I had to have the windows open). The menu was very limited in style, lots of deep fried food; burgers, fish in batter, southern fried chicken, that sort of thing. Not a place that I would recommend or stay at again.
