Lovely hotel but you enter into car park at back which is not too appealing, but once inside all good. The front entrance looks across an attractive green and church area. Would recommend.

Right in the shopping area of town, so handy for shops, food and cafes or pubs. Rooms are a bit on the dated side, but clean and functional. Can be a lot of noise from outside if your room overlooks the minster. Staff friendly.

The hotel room are quite dated but it is as good as it gets around Grimsby. Good breakfast selection. Decent price. Corus Hotels took two years to decline may cashback through Quidco. Beware of booking through any cashback websites, they offer you unrealistically high rates but they do not pay up. Shame on them.

Can't fault the place. Spotless. Warm. Welcoming. Great food. What more do you want.

Hotel is very tired and has lacked investment over the years. However rooms are generally ok and comfortable although bit tired. Can be quite noisy outside especially in the summer if you have your window open.

Loved my experience here. Friendly staff and some good cuisine. The bar is also excellent.

Excellent service, great hotel in a great location. Restaurant is nice and the food is good.

The only positive comment I can make about the hotel is that is conveniently located. Everything else is a lot of disappointment, from the size of the room, the unpleasant noise coming from windows (and drafts), mold in the bathroom old furniture (not the nicely old type though).

Dirty bathroom and plugs in room were unsafe. Loud bar with late karaoke both nights I stayed. Outdated decor but friendly staff.

We ordered a standard room but were incredibly disappointed by the standard of the room. The carpets were worn, torn and gathered in middle areas of the room. The windows and toilet were dirty, the corners of the room had not been hoovered presumably for some time as there was visible dust build up. This probably accounted for the smell in the room. We complained and were moved to a better room but still found that the lack of AC and hard beds made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep. To make matters worse, the shower water pressure was terrible and so we left feeling neither rested or refreshed. To their credit, the reception staff were incredibly apologetic and helpful. They certainly reacted and attempted to resolve our issues but were let down by the standard of the rooms. Unfortunately we would not choose to stay here again.

Enjoyable Grimsby We had a lovely stay, nice clean hotel and an enjoyable visit to the Trawler Museum. Good pubbs and friendly people.

Excellent city centre hotel with awesome staff Nd a central location.

I would rate this place 5 stars if we were still in the 90s. However the standards are definitely 5stars… some things in this hotel even beats premier inn such as the beverages you get in the room chocolate drinks, biscuits, etc, loads of it too, clean kettle, clean enviroment. Bed is comfy. I was really amazed by the food I would rate it 10stars I think this place takes pride in thier presentation and quality of service… When I was in the diner room I really felt I was in a posh environment. i been in grimsby for 3weeks and this is the best place so far I have stayed in. The employees are kind aswell… thanks.

It was hard to find (Although a quick phone call sorted) Service seemed ok and so did the room. However despite radiator being off during whole stay and window open room was oppresibly hot (even a fan didnt really help) Got NO sleep at all and I dont think they really cared either. Im sure there were better places to stay and this wasnt the cheapest either!

Shabby but not chic. Rooms & bathrooms really need updating, air conditioning really needed. Good food, nice staff, nice bar & restaurant.

Went for a private function, the room it was hosted in was well laid out with enough tables and chairs for everyone. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

The building is greatly decorated and well looked after.

Ideal for purpose. Working in the local area and staying at the hotel for 4 nights. Staff are really friendly. Would stay here again.

The location of this hotel is in the centre of the Grimsby and shops and bars are nearby. Inside the hotel itself: The food was in my opinion good. Tea facility was available in the room. Free Wi-Fi with normal speed available. Equipment and furniture and the design inside the Hotel are out of date! It's not clean and no luxury to be expected. Very small tv, like 12 inches. No fridge or minibar. No air conditioning available during the summer time and I couldn't get the window of my room open because it was stuck. If you don't expect too much then it's ok.

Last minute booking direct with hotel. Staff couldn't have been more friendly, facilitating my every need including a last minute conference room. Quiet in rooms, fantastic high speed Wi-Fi. Huge cooked breakfasts. 3 Star a fair rating but any lack of facilities is more than overcome by the willingness of the staff to make things happen. Well worth booking. Ill be back.
