We love it here great location lovely staff breakfast excellent decor a bit dated in common areas but executive double on first floor with bath are superb.

Visited to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was during the tail end of the Beast from the East which made the sitting rooms very cold, but the dinning room was toasty and the food and wine was excellent, as was the service highly recommended…

Comfortable and clean with good old fashioned polite service. Very good extensive menu for all meals, at reasonable prices, and would visit again.

I've stepped back into a time capsule. Here the environment, the people, frozen in aspic. Holding onto that time when every English seaside town had that hotel that was for "the better class of people" and for when those people wanted if to be known and displayed. As with the memories of those times, things are becoming a little faded and frayed, but the tradition is still there.

Staff attentive and food very nice, a bit old fashioned but the overall service more than compensates for that.

Excellent food and waited on by very friendly and helpful staff. We visited for lunch after my mum's funeral with my father's cousin and her husband. Highly recommend.

Classic venue with amazing food! Went with three others and every one of us will go back. Had three courses: risotto, beef medallions and their famous creme brulé. The wine suggestion was spot on and we finished with coffee in the lounge. The service was excellent throughout. The decor is relatively old-fashioned but that isn't a criticism. If you like great food and great service at a reasonable price, you can't do better than this!

We had a lovely evening at the Kingsway. The food and service was first class and we were well looked after by Simon and the staff.

Lovely stay, family have used this hotel for a number of years, with no major issues. Views across the River Humber towards the North Sea outstanding. Photos placed on website showing view from room 259.

Old established hotel been done up a few times. Rooms are good and good staff. Rather expensive for cleethorpes though.

An extremely old-fashioned hotel, but in a good way. Feels like it hasn't changed since the 70s. Went for lunch and it was a great experience; we had sherry in the lounge first and once we had ordered our food we were then shown to our table in the restaurant. It was 'silver-service' and the food was really nice. Large portions of fish for the mains. Recommend the cheese board, note there's easily enough cheese for two people. Not cheap though! £26 for three courses, but hey it's a nice treat!

Great food… good old fashioned service. A rare gem.

Myself and my husband booked 3 nights in this hotel in one of there executive rooms. When we arrived the hotel staff could not be more helpful all the staff were pleasant and friendly. The room was very clean with nice views. We found the extractor fan in bathroom not working once reported this was sorted out within a couple of hours. There was a different range of food for breakfast i. E. : toast — poached eggs on toast — fruit — yogurt — cereal — scrambled eggs on toast — also a full English breakfast if wanted. We would highly recommend this hotel. Mrs Sharron jenkins.

Very good. It could easily have gone downhill (like The Grand in Scarborough) but it has kept up with contemporary trends while still retaining traditional values.

Never stayed in the hotel but frequent visitor to it's bar known as 'Mucky Muldoons'. Great local pub just far enough away from the main concentration of bars in the centre of Cleethorpes. Lovely cosy atmosphere and always a warm welcome. Great for live music in intimate surroundings. Could happily spend all evening here without the need to move on anywhere else.
