My daughter and I stayed here, whilst visiting alton towers. It was well worth the trek. Amazing venue, staff were lovely, pool area was incredible and loved the steam room. Table tennis and pool fabulous. Breakfast was amazing!

Hotel was absolutely beautiful, the facilities were fantastic. Bed & pillows SUPER comfy! The place was immaculate, from the room, to the bar and dining area, the toilets and showers to the pool area area the outer building. Each and every staff member that took care of us during our stay went above and beyond and were professional, friendly, and each had a personality that shone positively. Especially want to shout out to Jenna, who looked after us at dinner, outstanding service! she deserves a raise 🙋🏼‍♀️ breakfast was excellent, very pricey but also very nice. Thank you Hilton.

Hotel felt clean and safe with close attention paid to distancing, lots of hand sanitizer availability and room cleanliness. I was made to feel welcome and that the hotel was safe in relation to COVID compliance requirements, very impressed!

Pool fully booked due to covid restrictions, but only informed that pre-booking was required the evening before check in. Here with kids during half term, very unfair on them to see a lovely that they can’t use. Worst hotel evening meal we’ve ever experienced, only 1 out of 4 of us actually got a meal & even that was cold after waiting 10mins for cutlery. The other 3 meals arrived wrong, twice. We walked out after 90mins & went to bed hungry. Huge disappointment & the staff really couldn’t care less. Wish we’d stayed at home!

Couldn't fault the hotel although couldn't use all facilities because of covid obviously but definitely need bigger and softer beds. Was way too hard for me.

The hotel is located in a very calm tranquil environment. The staff are lovely and polite. It is very quiet and peaceful you wouldn't imagine that there is other people in the hotel. It is also very clean. The bed is very comfortable but the pillows are too soft and does not provide neck support. I believe more information regarding the resort and facilities could have been provided as found no information in the room. The spa gives you a very small town if known that would have taken my own. There is a problem with the lights in the room as turning on bathroom light means all lights go on. There is a starbucks which only provides coffee and the staff there had to close early one day but was kind enough to offer us a voucher.

Beautiful grounds excellent staff. What's not to like about here. It's a ways from a local city party scene, but to relax and comfort you can't beat it. Best Hotel in midlands by far.

Disorganised. Slow to clear tables after people have left. This means people had to wait for a table to be cleared before being seated. Slow to bring items requested at the table. Had to ask numerous times and different people before receiving items. Told the restaurant was fully booked at 9pm when infact there were plenty of tables available according to friends who were in there. Very expensive bar. The room was lovely except the bathroom light only comes on when the main light for the room is on. So in the middle of the night you wake up your partner when you need to go to the bathroom by turning the lights on. Not being a football fan having football picures on the walls of the bedrooms was not very appealing. I wouldn't rush back.

Nice large airy rooms, reception staff helpful. Had buffet meals in the restaurant which were slightly above average. Hosted an event and the staff were responsive and accommodating.

Taken there as a treat for putting up with so much football during the World Cup! Of course it was the England training ground. Buildings are very new and modern. Loved it.

Room was nice the teas shower gels had not been replenished. The bed was very hard and I woke up with a backache. The food in the bar was very nice but the tables and floor were sticky. Had a good selection of food at breakfast but the service was awful considering how empty it was. We had to ask for tea after sitting down for 15 minutes. A lot of money considering experience I had.

First visit to St George's Park on a work conference. Immediately impressed by the inspiring environment, healthy atmosphere. The hotel obviously is centred around the England football set up with several groups of future superstars and current ones training. For me the rooms were great, a colour coded 5k cross country and brilliant gym made this possibly the best hotel I have stayed in. Definitely recommended.

I booked an overnight spa break here and though the facilities give this hotel the potential, there were many things that disappointed and made this break quite average. I would rate the room, pool, steam room, sauna and spa. However things that let this place down were mainly the food at the bar and restaurant. We paid extra for lunch which we were happy to do but really didn't feel like the quality reflected the prices considering I've had better lunches in establishments that charge far less. £4.50 for a tiny portion of chips was pretty extortionate. My roasted veg sandwich had large pieces of aubergine that were way under cooked. Service was very slow. Unfortunately dinner wasn't any better; slow service but style over substance. Starter and dessert fine but mains seemed rather bland and chicken was overcooked and dry. The menu seemed a little lacklustre compared to other overnight spa break deals I've been on before. Plus a couple of staff members were quite unfriendly which is usually what makes or breaks something like this. Overall it was just okay but given some very simple improvements it could have been much better.

Nice spa and pool. The massage was fantastic. Shame that the sauna was out of action, but the steam room, foot bath and showers were great. Changing rooms were very pleasant and appeared very clean.

Great training session and tour of St George's park with our coach Calvin! Kids had a great time and even picked up a few good tips on developing their game.

This place looks glossy from the outside but whilst these are not big complaints I would expect better from Hilton…
1) checked in and got a key card, this keycard has to be used to access the corridor from public area though to rooms — went up to go to room and the keycard didn’t work — I was travelling with my 9yr old daughter so had to make a decision whether to drag her and all the bags back down to reception or ask her to wait patiently whilst I went down to reception…. On getting back down to reception I was helpfully told ‘oh yeah that entry system can be really temperamental, you need to try it 6 or so times’ I replied that I had and a new key card was cut.
2) having now got to our room we were unpacking some stuff — my daughter says ‘someone’s left some clothes in this drawer’ on closer inspection a mans sports leggings, sports top and a pair of underpants were indeed in the drawer! I called housekeeping/reception number — I first attempt this ring out unanswered for 2mins, on 2nd attempt the receptionist didn’t sound that shocked or apologetic just said they’d send housekeeping.
Over an hour later (getting on for 9:30/10:00pm — remember I have a 9yr old daughter) housekeeping lady knocks on the door, she asks me what is the issue (I assumed she would’ve been told!

First class Hilton Hotel located near Burton attached to the FA Training facility. If you pick the right night you can get a pretty good rate. On nights when football is on, it can get a little more pricey. There's a good chance you'll see a familiar face or two around the place if you're a football fan. Meeting space is good, restaurant and bar area also good but breakfast is the highlight and is excellent. Exec lounge for Exec guests.

Very nice hotel and breakfast at the top.

There are a few things that could, in theory, reduce the number of stars. Namely the somewhat confusing road layout, the atrocious Hotel signage (you have to be inside to know you're at the right place) and the restaurant hours. However, these are insignificant compared to the good points. First, we received a room upgrade to an executive king, which is really very good. Well appointed and a very nice bathroom. The bed is really a super king and very comfortable. The executive lounge is also well stocked, with delicious canapés and snacks. Unusually, the lounge is as you come into the second floor, before the rooms, rather than being a separate room. The reception staff, and indeed all staff, is friendly and helpful. Cannot fault it, especially for the low price paid.

Very nice facility's amazing looking building amazing breakfast and food overall there is a honey rack that you scrap your self. Great for sports people and there is a smothie maker for running or for just being healthy.

Fantastic facilities and had a great day shooting film here for the FA. Friendly and attentive staff all around. Stayed overnight at the hotel and had a really nice stay. Would come here again if I could afford it!

Gigantic place, very smart and impressive. Is worth staying here if you find yourself needing to be slightly nearby, quite busy, always loads of guests. Honeycomb for breakfast. Probably best for groups but I have enjoyed coming myselfa few times now.

Amazing staff always welcoming and nothing is ever a problem. From reception the ever capable and lovely Jayne, Hard working Charlotte in exec lounge through the bar staff, housekeeping and Dave a friendly face at breakfast who never fails with a poached egg and bakes the most delicious gluten free ginger biscuits and chocolate chip cookies.

We love coming here as a little family getaway. Set in open grounds, the hotel is nice and peaceful. The swimming pool and spa is a nice addition and families are welcome. The rooms are always well presented and upto the usual Hilton standard. We will be returning here again soon.

We have been coming for the Christmas party nights last 3 years, and apart from the room being comfy we will not be coming again… reasons listed.
All guests received cold food, and given also a child’s portion (Michelin starred they are not).
Drinks purchased were unrealistic; I believe they were London priced, and totally out of reach/affordability with my staff. I put £200 behind the bar, which didn’t last very long at all (large Rose was £8+ for example).
Table was situated approximately 8ft away from the disco speakers, and was deafening too.
Casino night was a shambles, it was nothing compared to what we were expecting. I envisaged a hustling room of glitz and glamour, with games and laughter. Instead, we received a $100 token to be spent in the foyer, with 3 or 4 games tables, freezing cold with the snow on the other side of the window!
The atmosphere inside was dull too, the disco started, and there was no one there… terrible!
Needless to say the weekend was to be a celebration, but ended up being nearly £1000 worse of with no memories to cherish.

Came here for a 2 day conference and loved every minute I spent at this hotel. From an amazing swimming area to top class food and lovely members of staff on hand to assist you. Definitely returning to.

Excellent. Have stayed here previously and never had any problems. The rooms are impeccable, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the facilities well kept and presented. Breakfast was well organised and had an array of options. My only feedback for any alterations would be that the breakfast tables are placed too closely together, making it impossible to get in or out without harrassing the table next to you to move. Otherwise, we all enjoyed another pleasant and peaceful stay.

Good facillities pool, gym, spa. Out in the sticks, really quiet location. Nice hotel good morning breakfast and helpfull waiting staff. Overall not bad at all except could be a bit cleaner in the shower room. Found a few hairs and taps had algae on them other than that all good.

We visited last year and it continued to be a great hotel many facilities including health club and pool. Great breakfast however other food is quite pricey. Good service but our TV did not work all of the time and had to get someone to fix it about once per day. Overall great hotel.

Amazing modern hotel set in lovely countryside with great leisure facilities. Only thing is could do with a deep clean in places like the room taps which are starting to age with timescale 0 and general removal of room service breakfasts left outside rooms for hours and cleaning of table tops in the bar area. A little tighter control on these areas would quickly resolve this. Don't let this detract however from what is a lovely hotel.

First time visit to the Hilton at St Georges Park. What a nice place. The food was lovely and the staff very attentive. Fantastic facilities and well worth a visit.

Stayed here for one night and paid for by the company I work for. So I don't know what it cost. Hotel in beautiful surroundings. Loved the England photos from past and present on the walls. We had a three course meal. Really small portions on tiny plates. Was still hungry after. Asked for drinks and they either forgot or really took their time. Breakfast the next day. Large selection, but serving plates were stone cold so things like baked beans got cold straight away. Had to ask for tea and coffee when staff really should have come over and asked us. Staff at breakfast seemed fed up and generally unhappy. Lunch. Again, plates stone cold. Had the pre prepared Thai Green Curry. This along with other choices was once again cold. Heat lamps didn't keep the food warm. Everyone on my table left their food. As I say. Wonderful hotel, but really disappointed with the overall service. Glad I did not have to pay for it with my own money.

Superb ambience. Very refreshing and charming people. Huge building and grand entrance structure… A paradise for football lovers… In short a Football pilgrimage… Very well maintained hotel by Hilton.

Very nice hotel, in the middle of nowhere, but worth it! We used this hotel as it's close proximity to Alton Towers Resort. Very spacious rooms, large bathroom, all very clean. The bar was very good for in the evening aswell as the normal drinks, there were twelve large screens mounted on to the wall playing live football. The food here was decent although very overpriced. Breakfast was based in restaurant, buffet style although also very good and a wide choice of foods. Overall a great stay.

Arrived at this splendid hotel in 24 th August. It was my birthday treat. We wasn't aware it was the England football training grounds and prodomantly for the FA Fans. Super for those who love ❤️ football… lots of history on the walls and memorabilia to look at. Good size room and top marks for the bathroom… loved the taps and qwerty sound system and extras.
Our waitress Rebecca was lovely in the restaurant on Saturday night and our food was delicious. The breakfast however let the 5⭐️ Hotel down in my opinion.
We went to Alton towers whilst there and had a great day there and enjoyed another delicious meal in the Crossing in town. Highly recommend… Probably wouldn't stay again though as felt the price was a little hi for having to pay on top for Breakfast. Maybe the reason the FA are so Rich! Lol.

This is our second stay and we have, once again, been very happy with the accommodation. Though a slightly odd hotel venue with its decidedly sports oriented atmosphere, we've found the rooms to be very comfortable. We've been particularly impressed with the food in the restaurant and the gym facilities are excellent, as might be expected. It seems to be very popular with families and even young children seem well catered for. The beautiful surroundings provide ample areas for a morning or evening stroll.

Very spacious hotel in the foyer and restaurant. Although the family room was a little snug. Swimming pool was great and the facilities were very good although it was busy. In fact we had to wait before we could use the pool although the staff called us as soon as we were able to come down to the pool which was really good! Breakfast was fantastic loads of options including pancakes, waffles and honey fresh from a honeycomb! Only disappointment was the mix up at our evening meal when there was a mix up with our dessert and we ended up cancelling as our children were getting too tired to stay up. One thing we were not aware of was that the hotel is used by all the England national teams as there is a huge training ground and facilities. Overall a good stay and not that expensive!

Excellent hotel, friendly staff with modern Hilton features including a well equipped gym and a very good in house restaurant. The grounds are also well kept and perfect for a morning jog. That said getting to and from the hotel without your own vehicle would be a challenge (it can take the best part of 5 mins just to get to the hotel once you are on the hotel grounds! ). Exec lounge is only open 2 hours but once open serves the usual selection of bites, cheeses and drinks for exec guests. Highly recommended.

Great day out at the FA Futsal Grandfinals.

Outstanding, staff are amazing and really go above and beyond. Rooms are tidy and furnished in a very contemporary style. Some signs of wear and tear in the bathroom was the only con for me and my fiancee but that could be fixed with new shower curtains (yellow stains on the current ones).

Very beautiful and relaxing experience. Only negative is you have to pay a £5 delivery room service for every individual order. What nonsense! Your already paying for the food or drinks. And they are only coming upstairs lol. I only ordered a glass of ice and never knew about the charge. Sort it out Hilton!

Stunning place, excellent settings and extremely welcoming. Spa is excellent and the room (King Junior Suite) was excellent, modern, clean and tidy and to boot had all Sky Sports channels or at least it did in the room I was in. My only gripe would be that they have a quota on how many adults / children can enter the pool/spa. This was not made clear to me at check in so when I got to the pool me and my kids had to wait 30 minutes or more before we could go in. I understand the quota policy so no issues with that, simply, it would have been nice to have been made aware and I would have got their earlier. Other than that the hotel is fabulous and if you're a Football fan there are loads of memorabilia to marvel on.

Obviously training facilities were first class at the centre but the hotel for a Hilton was not up to standard. Bar prices are a rip off. More expensive than Mayfair and Paris. One restaurant and no a la carte. Very small bedrooms with no storage. Easily worst Hilton I have stayed in.

Excellent hotel for relaxation, even had the opportunity to meet the entire England team in full training even though I'm not a supporter. My not only negative on this hotel is that with the vast amount of land/space available to them it would have been great if they utilised this for other guest activities i. E. Golf would have been great.

Great hotel, quite modern, great amenities, however… The beer here is absolutely terrible. I'm used to having a nice pint of Beck's Vier here and they now serve something else!

Nice modern and new hotel. Great meeting room lay outs, lovely restaurant and great food. Nice open bar area. Staff are all very friendly. Also if you like football as it is now home to the England team there is a lot of facts and pictures about the place as well as having the training grounds being just out side. You may see a footballer or two depending on when you go.

I stayed here to attend an AGM. The hotel is set away from the town in its own grounds but it was a short taxi ride to the train station the following morning. Considering the number of people attending I thought the evening meal was very good. The room itself was a nice size and nicely decorated, although I found it strange having a door to the next door room in my room. I opened it expecting a cupboard and got another door to the next room (locked). Breakfast was generous but I would recommend getting there early as I while I was having mine a large group of guys from the training academy turned up meaning other people from our group had to queue for a little while. The staff were all fantastic everyone, whatever their job said hello to you when you saw them around the building. Obviously it's highly recommended it if you are into football, I'm not but some of my friends were and enjoyed bumping into the manager of a team that was having some meetings there at the same time.

Great hotel, particularly if you like looking at footballer photos. It is located on St George's park — home of Еnglish football. The atmosphere was good. Rooms were furnished with comfortable beds, large flat screen TV and sofa bed. The only thing that was slightly average was the evening menu at the Hampton but good food was still provided. I ate in the bar and had the most delicious Pimms and Grilled Chicken and Bacon baguette.

I spent a week here and found my experience to be as good as expected. High quality room with comfortable bed and plump pillows, large flat screen TV with good range of channels, nice free breakfast. Liked the sauna and the gym as well.

The location of this hotel is extraordinary, great for sight seeing. Apart from that — large and bright rooms with brand new furniture, comfortable bed, bathrooms with a speaker control so that you can listen to the TV (that really impressed me), Wi-fi access etc. I really enjoyed my time there.
