Second visit to this wonderful hotel and definitely not the last.
Staff are so pleasant and helpful.
Our room was amazing with a fantastic view.
Dinner was delicious and breakfast had something for everyone.
Can’t wait to go back.

A great weekend here great food and staff and catered brilliant for our large party of 18. Beautiful room can’t fault any of it great start to Christmas.

We had our wedding here last year, and it’s just a wonderful place. The people can’t do enough for you and we both felt relaxed through out the whole day. We’ve been back a few times since, and eaten in the restaurant and in the bar/lounge (always a fabulous meal) I’ve also had afternoon tea, which again was fabulous … couldn’t recommend the Clifton Arms enough. The bedrooms/suites are excellent and there’s lots of room etc. Also there are disabled rooms and lift access which was perfect for my grandparents and there was plenty of room in the twin rooms where a number of guests stayed. I can’t wait to stay over again myself x.

Received a voucher for an afternoon tea from my daughter, what can I say, it was absolutely lovely, wonderful service, beautiful food, gorgeous environment, thank you so much.

Thank you to the Staff, especially Mike & Victoria, for making our stay as comfortable as possible. Lovely hotel. Great food, and excellent service. We look forward to hopefully returning later in year.

A popular wedding venue — The Clifton Arms Hotel is an attractive building opposite The Green and just a short walk from the centre of Lytham. This is a traditional British hotel that offers large, comfortable rooms, excellent dining and attentive staff.

Lovely hotel, excellent staff, delicious breakfast. Our room was beautiful and there was plentiful parking on-site.

Always a great place to eat and drink. The afternoon teas are wonderful.

Not a great experience. This hotel is advertised as 4 star. It has an excellent location on Lytham Green overlooking the sea, with ample car parking. However, we have just stayed there for 3 nights. We found the public rooms & passages dowdy & very tired. Carpets badly stained & warn, especially the stairs up from the dining room. The tables in the lounge were finished in a dark plastic, chipped & unattractive, & would have benefitted from table cloth coverings. Surrounding decor dull. This is in the context of the 4star expectations. Two of our three breakfasts were ok, except we had to specially ask for sweeteners. None automatically available at the tables or in our room. This is 2018 & is on tables in virtually every cafe in the country, however lowly. The middle breakfast was memorable for the smoked haddock being virtually uncooked, gelatinous flesh unseparable from the skin. The waiter offered to replace it, which I declined, but there was no expression of regret or apology. Our room was a good size & clean. The furniture was naff faux distressed pine. No safe but plenty of drawer & hanging space. TV old. No menu so programme selection laborious, moving from channel to channel one by one. Wifi useless on both sites available. Only got internet connection for 1-2 mins at a time. I booked on line and this was the highest rated and most expensive hotel in the delightful town of Lytham St. Anne's.

Our party of your popped in to the Clifton on spec for afternoon coffee etc. Despite the lounge and bar area being quite full with vacant tables being reserved they were very accommodating. We we're able to take our time and chat with no sense of being pressured to vacate our seats for other arrivals. The atmosphere and service was very pleasing.

A very nice hotel with great breakfast. Close to many good restaurants and has a great view out the front of the building. Classic double room was huge with a nice bathroom.

Just had a really lovely afternoon tea with exceptional service. Will definitely be returning!

The Clifton Arms hotel have given us the wedding of our dreams! Every aspect and every single member of staff was faultless and our guests were full of praise about the beautiful venue, delicious food, flawless management and wonderful staff.
My husband and I would like to extend our special thanks to Bernard who was there from the first moment we walked in asking about packages the day we got engaged to the day itself and it he really was instrumental in making the whole day go as smoothly as it did.
The Chairman Suite we stayed in was also beautiful and the perfect place for me to get ready in the morning and spend my wedding night. The morning after we had to dash to the airport at 7am but the staff went out of their way to make sure we had a breakfast even before their restaurant had opened.
I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Love and thanks to all the staff.

Lovely venue for the wedding that we attended a few days after Christmas. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Rooms cosy and well equipped. Food served at the wedding breakfast was excellent, considering a large room of people about 100, all the food was served efficiently and hot. Bar prices not as pricey as some establishments charge when they have a captive audience. Great breakfast with views from the dining room overlooking the sea front. Would recommend this hotel. Free parking and good connection to free Wi-Fi.

Loved a lovely pre christmas lunch here. Friendly service. Lovely country club hotel atmoshere.

Work Christmas lunch. The fourth or fifth year here and we all enjoy it. A great meal, not just your usual Christmas dinner, and a chance to meet people I don't usually have a chance to talk to. Keep re-booking, please.

Rides a reputation that it is struggling to hold on to — but there is nowhere else in Lytham. Bar prices are typical hotel rip-off, Food was good on the two recent occasions I've been — for a sportsman's lunch and a wedding evening do. Sound system was a real let down at the lunch.

Great hotel. Lots of atmosphere and super breakfast and nice rooms. Bit pricey.

Room 219 was a good size, lovely modern bathroom. Felt it was a bit pricey for the standard of room as I've paid less in the past for just as good if not better room.
our room looked out to the back of the hotel were some local bars were so was slightly noisy but didbt disturb our sleep.
breakfast was nice, lots on offer both continental and full English. Other options also available.
bar area was nice and relaxed… staff nice and friendly.

We stopped off here for a coffee on a very busy day, at first the staff felt that they were too busy for us but they changed their minds after a quick chat about our needs. We were well looked after and enjoyed our afternoon here.

My daughter Rebecca and Tom's wedding, I have to say what a fantastic day right from the off the staff were brilliant.
Nothing was to much trouble for them, Bernard was magnificent the catering staff and the food first rate and the unlimited wine was indeed just that the glasses were constantly topped up through out the meal I just can not praise them highly enough many thanks.

Nice wedding venue. Lacks own gardens. But has nice public grounds out front.

In summary an excellent hotel with attentive staff and good food. We thoroughly enjoy our stays there and keep going back. I strongly recommend based on our experiences.

We married here back in 2003 and it was a great no a fantastic wedding the venue was truly awesome we had everything we could want and more they even catered when 20+ unexpected guests arrived later for our party and wanted to eat and drink.

Food service and staff were very helpful and friendly. Went to a friends 50th wedding anniversary.

My wife and I called in to the hotel and ordered a pot of tea for two. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and although we didn't have food or alcoholic drinks; and obviously a pot of tea wasn't the most extravagant item on their menu we were still treated as if we had ordered a lot. We liked our visit so much we have now booked a room in September for my wife's birthday.

Great atmosphere and location. Prices are good too, but would not recommend if you have several young children.

We stayed in one of the rooms facing a rear courtyard, and had a three-room suite. It was warm and pleasant, even if I didn't spend much time there. The place is a little dated, but well maintained and it feels like a lot of care goes into the upkeep.
