A down to earth place to stay, in a quiet village, a railway station is close by and there is enough to make a wee break.

Reasonably priced good food and a welcoming atmosphere just a short walk from the railway station. So you don't need to worry about about having a couple of drinks and a good meal on your day out in Lancashire. Just take the train and a short walk to the Black Bull pub.

Dropped on this place while overnighting in the truck. Food beer and staff were great highly recommend.

We stay regular at riverside caravan park and have been here twice. The food is really very good and so is the beer. Prices are very reasonable also. Look forward to the beer festival in august.

Just had the best mix grill in a long time and at a very good price must highly recommend here to eat with a fanatic new menu to choose from.

Delicious roast beef Sunday dinner Just had another roast beef dinner … Deeeelicious! One of the best I have ever had, proper roast potatoes. Yummy.

Good food and drink. It was quiet when I was last there and I had relatively fast service.

Myself, my wife and our 6 year old son ate here for 4 of our 7 nights in the area! New owners who were lovely and very welcoming! I have to say the food was absolutely superb and tremendous value! If you are in the area then make sure you pay The Black Bull in Bentham a visit you won't be disappointed! We will definitely return on our next visit to the area!

I stayed in Room 2 which is a twin room. The bed (nearest the door) was very comfortable, the room was lovely and warm also. The en-suite which is small was well presented has got possibly the best shower I've used for some time.
Next morning I went over to the Coach House for breakfast and it was very good indeed. Sets you up for the day ahead.
All staff were friendly and polite. For £35 for a single it was extremely good value for money. I stayed on a Thursday night and the noise from down in the bar was ok however I suspect at the weekends with live bands etc this may differ. Thank you.
