Amazing meal at The White Bull today. The food was excellent, service was quick, efficient and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The pub was very Covid-19 safe. We’ll be back.

The 1st time we tried the Breakfast it was delicious and amazing and we definitely enjoyed it, we will be returning again on a Sunday great way to start the day.

We stayed in a lovely spacious, clean and well decorated room, it was huge with beautiful bathroom.

We had a lovely meal today at the White Bull. I'd recommend the signature burger! great food, very friendly service and lovely atmosphere. They made our family really welcome last minute and in these ever changing circumstances, they were so accommodating. We'd definitely visit again once we're back in the area :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The White Bull. The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious and well presented. All the staff were so friendly. The room was really cosy and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The beer garden is a lovely space to sit and relax. We can't wait to visit again!

What a cute and quaint place this is. The bar is small but well stocked and the decor is traditional country pub. Had a quick look at some of the bedrooms and they’re all really nice too. Yet to try the food but will review once I have. Very pleasant greeting from the GM Ian and other staff.

We came last minute and asked for a table for 6 were busy and expecting some large pre booked tables coming in but still fit us in and the food was fantastic thanks very much.

Fantastic and very helpful staff, delicious 3 course lunch and had an amazing Tia Maria and chocolate cheesecake.

Lovely little pub, friendly staff, cosy atmosphere, good drink selection and proper home made food. Prices are very reasonable. We were staying in the lodges not far from here and had an early tea on Saturday, it was that nice we booked for Sunday dinner the next day and weren't disappointed.

Lovely pub large carpark perfect place for stop off when out on the bike. Michael is a biker himself so warm welcome is always given.

Lovely dog friendly pub — we called in with our dog, had wonderful food and the friendliest staff.

Called in for a meal and found Wednesday was steak night, 2 rump steaks and a bottle of wine for £29.95, food excellent, staff friendly and attentive, highly recommend the White bull if you’re in the area. Dog friendly as well.

We had our daughters christening party in the function room everything was so easy to organise and stress free. For the food we had the 3 calved meats served on a bread roll with chips, very tasty and lots of good comments from our guests all on time and enough for a decent portion! All staff were spot on! Couldn’t have wished for a better day. Very lucky to have this for our local pub.

Recent experience at the White Bull was excellent. Staff were friendly and very helpful going out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Food was very good and not too expensive. Definitely one we would like to return to.

Had a lovely couple of days away at the white bull Gisburn. Harry and the rest of the staff were excellent and could not do enough for you. Food excellent and good priced. Will definitely visit again.

Good pub very friendly with good rooms. Harry the barman is a real asset to the establishment.

Just had Sunday lunch, was lovely vegetables cooked just right and proper mashed potato, faultless, the cheese and onion pie was one of the best we have had, highly recommend and staff really helpful especially the young lady Laura who served us.

Even got a lift to festival from them lots of friendly and welcoming staff, nice and kind and would recommend

Came across this wonderful pub on the back roads from Lancaster. Absolutely fabulous place. Staff very welcoming. Great choice of beers and wines. Food absolutely gorgeous. Very good value for the money.

First time to eat at The White Bull this afternoon… Great service & wonderful food Especially the sticky-toffee-pudding :) The fish and chips with mushy peas are the die for. The only negative was the Landlord's a Bolton Fan… me a Man united fan didn't go down to well. Joking aside good banter. But a gentleman all the same. I'll certainly be visiting again at some point. Highly recommend it anyone passing or visiting the area.

Wow x just had Sunday lunch all the timings x wanted really to jeep it a secret so that l can always get a table! Staff food and service marvellous x think you all xx.

I visited the white bull for a few quiet drinks. The staff were great, food fantastic and it has a nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Superb overall experience, visited twice… one for a bar snack after a long walk and then for Sunday lunch, both were excellent. Service is friendly with all the staff attentive and very efficient, and the food menu is extensive and of the highest quality… and to cap it all, Sam, our dog was made most welcome.

Cold no heating for sunday lunch. A big party in so our service disappeared. Good food but took too long to arrive. Had to queue. For 15 mins at bar to get our bill. Could have been great.

We stayed locally at Ribbledale Park holiday lodges and decided to try the White Bull, the food and Sevice were excellent, nice decor, friendly staff, everything you could wish for. The only drawback on the evening was the taxi service we used to take us there. We weren’t familiar with the area and booked Tiger taxis to take us to the White Bull (as recommended by the White Bull) It turns out to be a pretty short journey and did only take us 10 mins to walk back. You can imagine our shock then to be charged £10 for this trip.
Needless to say, enjoy your meal at the White Bull, I can highly recommend it but please beware of Tiger Taxis!

This looked drab from the outside. We almost didn't bother going in but we're glad we did. Interior is amazing. We all had great service and food.

Excellent food. I had the crab and prawn linguine. Loaded with prawns and spiced up with the addition of rocket in a creamy sauce, I've never tasted anything quite like it. Recommended. Oh, and dog-friendly too.

Four days go me and my Sister stayed the Location was very good and good friendly staff and helpful the Breakfast`s was good our room was clean and comforted but one thing was miss no biscuits to have with our tea/ coffee? but would go back.

Great place to stay when visiting the Ribble valley area. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathroom had been refurbished to a very high standard. Our only complaint was with the traffic noise throughout the night on the busy A59; avoid any room at the front of the hotel. The food was excellent value.

Poor choice of beer. A barman who tried to give me a cloudy pint and then could not change a barrel. Poor breakfast and no one to take card payments in the morning at 10am. Wet room in annex room not installed correctly. A flood that would not drain after each shower. Poor.

Stayed for one night at The White Bull. We have visited this place on passing through Gisburn in the past and we're keen to stay overnight. The Wild Bull didn't disappoint and lived up to our high expectations. Michael and team were very attentive. Accommodation and food was impressive! Will return Many thanks David and Peter.

Had my little boy's 5th birthday party in the function room at the white bull and could not fault the service and help given by the staff. The function room is large enough to accommodate a bouncy castle indoors and the room hire was free when we purchased party food (which at £4.95 per child including a hot buffet and dessert was good value! ). Would definitely recommend and would definitely visit again.

I was very impressed with the White Bull. It was a busy Saturday evening when we visited and it had a good atmosphere. We were awkward with our orders, but the staff were patient and ensured that the order was correct. The food arrived in good time and I had the mixed grill. It was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Everyone else enjoyed their food also. I would recommend this pub.
