We went last year great food amazing staff lovely clean rooms, my fav was the jacuzzi, hoping to get booked up this year too, highly recommend xxx.

Nice relaxing hotel with very friendly staff I have a disability and they couldn't do enough for me was put in hotel but had booked in to Boston but was shut so a very good 2nd choice and food was fantastic.

I have had the pleasure of staying at the Doric since I was 5! Back in 1985! I now bring my children who enjoy it as much as I did when I was little! Excellent service, amazing food, fab entertainment, spacious rooms and the indoor pool is the best! Kids enjoy while we enjoy the Hot tub!

Even before our arrival we were helped more than we could expect. From check in all the staff have been so friendly, helpful and genuinely nice. My husband remarked that it was genuine and not a false happy atmosphere. The staff actually enjoy working here and are good friends with each other. That makes a huge difference. One staff member said they were like family. And it shows and makes for a better stay. They go that extra mile to ensure your stay is fabulous. We initially booked for 3 nights, extended to 5 then 6. Nothing is too much trouble. Leaving tomorrow but we will be back soon. Best place to stay in Blackpool we would say. Thank you Doric. 👍👍👍

Another brilliant weekend, rooms and hotel clean! food was delicious, the staff were first class, especially Louise, outstanding, friendly, nothing was to much for her. Thank you again!

Blackpool was fab as always. The Royal Seabank was very disappointing due to our Suite having a leaking roof and very rude staff but when we got moved to the Doric hotel it was I'm pleased to say FANTASTIC, lovely friendly staff and very welcoming. Eventually a great night full of laughter had by all. Xx.

the food at the Doric is very good and the rooms are kept clean towels teas and coffees replaced everyday entertainment here is very enjoyable.

Just spent a week here. It was fabulous.
The food, shows, rooms, etc were all fab.
Only criticism is acts /compares repetitive and often failed to show! On at least 4 occasions a compare or act failed to show and others put in their place last min.
The dining room is stunning. The hotel however has heat on timed snd was freezing until 6 pm daily. I had to get portable heater for my elderly mum so she could nap in afternoon. Place needs to be kept warm.
But we had a fab time. It’s what you make it.
Fab value for money.
The greatest show was outstanding however 2nd half was far to loud and shouty on the Mics that most of room left as they didn’t like rock screeching music. I think they need to have set meal time like :
5-6.30 dinner
7-8 compare/bingo
8-9 act 1
9-9.30 bingo
10-12 act2/music Too much messing goes on.
Also, on bingo, the payout is far less than they take in sales? Ie. The payout is £100 and the sales far more and given in white envelope to staff to take.
No stating where the extra money in envelopes went.
Maybe someone could clarify as I’m sure under gambling regs you have to.
All in all we loved it. We aren’t hard to please. Well done.

We have just came back from a great 2 night stay here. Cant fault it, from the staff too the entertainment. Everything was fantastic. Food was excellent. Really nice Family atmosphere. We went with our elderly mother inlaw. There was bingo and a singer for her and in another room there was kids entertainment, so was perfect for us. They took care of our car and everything. We never used the pools but bet they are fab too. Special mention to Louise who served us at dinnner. She was fabulous. Went above and beyond for us. And Ricky who was lovely. All the staff wer very helpful. Will certainly stay again. We all had a great time 👍

We have just returned from a 2 night stay and have to say its not cheap but worth every penny, staff were lovely, room was immaculate, food was excellent, entertainment very good and facilities absolutely great. 10 — 10 from Tom Susan and Harlie Usher.

Our second year here can’t wait to get there the staff are fabulous very friendly can’t do enough for you meals are delicious breakfast is always beautiful evening meals lots of choice very nice food can’t praise this hotel enough here’s to many more years returning love it xx.

Great hotel, great staff, great food. The present tier 3 restrictions are killing this place though. Some very strange restrictions followed through strictly. I won't be booking another hotel under tier 3 restrictions if they are adhered to the same as here. It didn't ruin my few days stay. It just made me think it wasn't worth spending the money to stay in the hotel.

Lovely hotel out of blackpool so quiet but easy to get to the Center if things. Food is lovely rooms are clean and they have many different sizes.

What can say about this hotel well really its quite easy everything is SUPERB from catering to bar staff to the cleaners who get a special mention as this establishment is spotless 'and also the spa facilities I could of stayed in there ALL DAY please believe we will be definitely back and really shortly THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL 5 NIGHTS MO AND KEV BOOTLE.

Brilliant friendly happy staff, room was huge cleaned daily, especially Leigh and restaurant guy (forgot his name) helped us leave in a taxi with pram bags Ect. Pool great had it to ourselves. Entertainment for the kids was brilliant I cannot say enough how great this hotel is my two little girls loved this little break. Il be rebooking as soon as poss thank you Doric hotel ps can you add a smoking section.

the children were very badly behaved which spoilt my break. I understand it is a family hotel but the children need to respect other residents.

The best Blackpool hotel I've ever stayed in, staff are friendly and helpful, food is good and servic is quick, good choice of menu for breakfast and evening meal. The Manx kippers in the morning are fantastic! All in all, full marks all round.

First came with our Club a few years back for our Christmas party. Asked for a brochure. The two pools sold it for me. My grandson loves it. So I brought him last year, so well looked after by everyone. Lovely friendly, helpful staff, most still here from a few years back. Told my youngest Grandson that if he learnt to swim, that I would bring him aswell. So this year, both Grandsons that swim like Dolphins. Once again so well looked after. Hopefully health permitting and I will be back with them next year. Thankyou for helping make memories for my Grandchildren. Lovely hotel and Staff. Home from home.

Amazing staff made to feel very welcome. Couldn't thank them enough when my son left his favourite teddy and they went above and beyond to post it back to us. Thank u it means so much that a hotel would do this.

Stayed for bank holiday weekend very enjoyable stay some places of the hotel really need upgrading looking tired.

We have been coming here for 10 years now. What makes this place are the wonderful and friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Food is excellent, rooms are good, depending which one you get. We always come back here year after year.

I have been going here for the past 6 years and have loved every moment of it. It's very clean and the staff are very polite and also listen to everybody feedback. There's a heated indoor and outdoor pool, there's also a jacuzzi and sauna. I highly recommend it to families and everyone.

First time at the Doric and certainly won’t be our last all the staff are wonderful and made me and my family feel very welcome. We only spent two nights here but wished it could have been a lot more! Great place, great facilities and great staff, it really made our weekend away so much better. Thank you Doric.

Great nice staff we've been every years for 8 years or more since I was 7-9 now I'm 16 I'm now good friends with Karl children's entertainer on face book love it can't say I dont.

Stayed at the Doric for a couple of nights whilst visiting relatives. The rooms are good sized and very clean. Many have recently been redecorated so look top notch. The food was good wholesome food and plenty big enough portions. The staff are very friendly and always willing to go the extra mile for you. The indoor pool is a nice temperature, the Jacuzzi is hot and the steam room hotter. Great to wind down after a day in Blackpool. The only down side is parking, but the small car park is well managed if you leave your keys at the desk. Overall a great hotel.

My daughter and I have been to this place 5 times well worth the money the service is brilliant staff can't do enough for you the kids are entertained at night I'm going back in the summer the outdoor pool is really warm and the food is lovely.

Nice hotel with nice staff that where very helpful, would of got 5 stars if the heating in our room was working (room 46) the corridors were warmer than our room but as we were only staying the one night it didn’t really bother us (the radiators in room and bathroom need bleeding as only the bottom part would heat up). The entertainment was good on a night time and breakfast was very good with very helpful staff We would definitely come back again as the staff are so welcoming and helpful.

Yet another brilliant holiday. Food and staff up to there good usual standard. I hope to be back very soon.

A party of 14 of us have just returned from staying at the Doric Hotel. Lovely hotel lovely big rooms. Great food & big portions. Louise & Don we’re our waitress were great & very friendly. Entertainment was good especially Diana Ross on the Saturday night. The staff were very friendly. The managers Sir James (haha) & Peter we’re fantastic & couldn’t do enough for us as one of our company was disabled. We just had to ask & they done it or helped. The check in was great & very helpful with Keith & Ashleigh. A big Thank you to George the night porter who looked after us at nights. We would definitely recommend this hotel & will be back. From the Edinburgh gang.

Second time visiting, great food and entertainment. But on this occasion both lifts had broken down at the same time plus the water heating also went down! It was fixed after several hours. Which meant a walk down from the fourth floor and up again and the shower and bath ran cold. Other people weren't so able as us had a problem. We had a fantastic time last year and wanted to return. The pool area wasn't as clean as before, which is a shame as I think things had over taken them this time.

Wow this place is absolutely first class. Nightly entertainment for adults in one room and kids entertainer in another room. Meals are top class. Beds are very comfortable. Overall 5 star experience. Tremendous!

Such friendly staff,, made to feel very welcomed,,, only negative is the rooms that need updating and walls need painted,, but overall it was lovely… the staff are super friendly,,, never seen anything like it in other hotels really. Very impressed,,,, you arrive as a guest and leave as a friend.

The staff were lovely start to finish. We arrived at the hotel (very easy to find) but had very limited parking and parking in the pub near the hotel would cost us five pound a day so the lovely receptionist Katie told us to have a drive round the block and told us not to park on double yellows and we'll be fine. Got into our room, clean and tidy but dated and the TV didn't work but wasn't really a big issue. Pool perfect for somewhere to relax more than swim but still nice! When going out the same receptionist Katie was helpful in telling us how the trams work and that there is a tram stop opposite the hotel. PERFECT! When going to bed we found a stain in the bed sheet, when told a member of staff this problem was soon sorted. BREAKFAST! Smart dressed staff, smart dining area and lovely food can not complain. Fair to say was upset to leave and would recommend!

Amazing place staff are lovely, rooms are fantastic, clean and big. Food beautiful wouldn't stop any where else now IV been here. Definitely recommend worth every penny and more child friendly my daughter loved it.

To start off with the pictures of the hotel rooms is not the same as when you go there the style of the bedroom I was in was very out dated. This hotel I would say is for older people 40+ it's a bit like an old people's home. The breakfast is decent I can't complain about that but the dinners are not so nice food isn't seasoned very bland but other than that the staff was really welcoming and polite leisure facilities was the best part pool hotel tub and steam room, I did enjoy my stay just a few things that could be worked on like heating for the rooms or if u want the window open I doesn't stay open.

Had a brilliant weekend at the Doric Clean and tidy rooms great food Very friendly staff and service second to none. The rooms are being updated one by one we were in an untouched one but it was very clean and comfortable. Can't wait for another visit second time in 2 months will be back asap. Thanks to James and all the staff who couldn't have done more.

The Doric hotel in my opinion is key of the best hotels on the promenade in Blackpool, they offer luxury rooms at affordable prices, the staff are very friendly and get to know you personally, they are currently having a refurbishment in some of the rooms which will hopefully be done soon, the food is excellent and well presented! The swimming pool and spa are really nice to have in the hotel, they are usually quiet and you can have a decent swim and relaxing time without interruption. Would recommend.

The Doric Hotel was a pleasure to stay in. All the staff were very friendly and everywhere was very clean. The beds were comfortable with clean fresh linen and the room service was excellent providing clean towels on a daily basis and keeping the room tidy. Breakfast was included in the price, and it was so tasty that we paid the extra to have an evening meal too. Afterwards the restaurant converts to a dance floor with live entertainment on every night. Overall a very enjoyable stay, we'll definitely be coming back!

Location ok can get tram to Blackpool centre outside. Rooms ok-ish hve modernised some rooms but some parts of rooms still need updated. Need hot water looked at cold by lunch & when hot temperature hard to get right from cold to scalding. Mattresses not the best at all! Drink prices rediculous eg. £1.70 for just a tonic water! Service excellent, staff are very attentive yoor totally looked after!

Over the last ten years I have attended an annual event at least 8 times. The staff are friendly and the amenities are good. Parking is one thing that becomes an issue but options are available.

A decent walk, or a few tram stops, along the prominade from the North Pier. We've stayed at the Doric three times and had a great time. Food is pleasant and there's enough of it, with some choices each evening. Staff are all friendly and ahpy to help when required. Children's entertainment is good enough to keep kids up to 11 or 12 entertained. Rooms are clean and well maintained, but quite basic, some of the "views" aren't great. All in all good value for money.

Room. Lovely view of the wall opposite. Room decor very dated. Furniture dusty. Mirrors dusty. Furniture finish missing/chipped. Windows wooden double glazing but frames rotten and mouldy in places. Tiny room really. Bed comfortable but room way too hot. After having the windows open on vent all night the room was still 25 degrees c in the morning. Bathroom very nice and clean. Largely new. But door wouldn't shut. Door handle bolted on like some kind of steam punk experiment. TV an at best 13 inch crt portable on a stand. A stand lower than the bed and placed conveniently in front of the loo door. Strange suspended ceiling in the room. Mismatched tiles placed at seemingly random angles. Bar area nice, clean. Not the warmest though as some windows on the front don't close properly. Bar staff are amazingly helpful and polite and as nice as you could want and prices are fine. Reception area is tiny. I have been to B&Bs with a bigger reception and as such looked a bit like a demob station. Restaurant is large and spacious but the tables are too small for the kind of service they try to deliver. Service in restaurant very slow to the point where we decided to forgo cooked breakfast.

We have jus come back from a stay here we wasnt amused it has supposed to have won family hotel of the year that was a joke they are not family orientated at al it was full of pensioners who did not like the kids about we had 2 2yr olds with us so how do you keep a 2yr old still an a older girl wen we were checking in the male receptionist was quite rude an unhelpful we asked if we cud leave our bags as it was abit early to check in an his reply was put em ova there wen we came back to go to our room we were given the keys an told our rooms were on 3rd floor wen we tried to get in the lift it was that small you couldn't get the pram in so you were squashed in the lift my friend couldnt get her pram in it was too small she had to fold hers up an make her 2yr old walk an squash in you couldnt push a pram through the corridors then we finally got to our rooms to find they were so hot an stuffy an small that u couldnt breathe properly an no air-conditioning my friends lad suffers badly with asthma an if he gets too warm can cause an attack so she tried to open the window only to find the window wouldnt stay open she had to prop it open with a box the food was nice but you had to wait ages to be served there was no kids entertainment so the kids were bored the indoor pool wasnt bad the jacuzzi was quite hot but the outdoor pool you couldnt really use as was situated across the main road so you would have to cross ova to get to it.

Just had my Dads surprise 80th Birthday party there and I would like to thank Jason and the rest of the staff for their professionalism. From the point of booking to the end of the event nothing was to much trouble. The buffet was exceptional the dj had a good range of music to suit all and the balloons were great. My Dad had fantastic night and all the guest enjoyed themselves. Once again thanks Jason and well done the Doric.
