Staff friendly and accommodating. Wide variety of dishes to sample. Multiple visits needed to try them all. Can't fault any I tried.

The Gurkha curries are superb, loved everything about this place.

Stayed in the hotel for the wknd and it was lovely. Also had a meal in the restaurant which I would highly recommend, buffet choices were amazing and the owners and staff couldn't be more helpful. Definitely will return.

First time trying the Gurkha and it was amazing! Definitely did not disappoint and will be going again, amazing service, very polite staff, covid restrictions in place, mask&gloves to be worn in buffet area, temperature taken on arrival, amazing all round, can’t wait to be back. Thankyou for a lovely evening last night x.

Well what can we say a massive thank you from the children’s ward at Blackpool Victoria Hospital. 5* from all the nurses and doctors, the curry and rice was absolutely amazing and such a lovely unexpected surprise for us all. First visit to The Gurkha tonight it’s a little gem the all you can eat buffet is delicious definitely another visit in the near future and the staff are very helpful.

Just got back after 3 nights at the Gurka loved it. Room was outstanding very clean. Staff and management were brilliant we had made a mistake and booked 2 different hotels for the same night and they gladly changed it for us. We had breakfast each morning which was first class… and the the evening buffet was excellent my husband and I are already looking to book for next year and will be recommending it to friends and family.

The food here is the best I have ever tasted and very under priced for the quality and the staff are very helpfull we will be goung back.

Lovely friendly place. Really enjoyed the food, which was tasty and replenished frequently & very good quality. The drinks prices are also very reasonable. The staff were lovely and took the time to chat with my children even though they were busy. Came here on the recommendation of my neighbour and I'm glad we did, will definitely return and would recommend to others.

Very disappointed food not that good chips cold onion rings cold nuggets hard curry very watery tryed to talking to a member of staff and told just to try more don't wast your time or money there was 3 of us and only one person like it but they will eat anythink lol only got one star as I cant do minus star.

Great buffet food and the bar is good with cheaper than usual prices. Never stayed in the hotel but been told the rooms are nice.

What a shame a good place has fallen off the scales we have been this place a lot of times over the years had parties there. But since it has changed hands it's fallen of the scales from having to book a table for a Saturday night to being nearly empty. The food has gone smaller and for the staff well a point to remember if your going for food take your drink with u cos they will change it from lemonade to water and take your unfinished pints away when they clear the table and don't put your fork down till your finnished eating cos the staff take anything which ain't screwed down. This place will only get better when staff change there is a better place in Blackpool for a little more money but worth the extra money cos of the service and better staff.

Being under new management for about 3 years, major improvements on decor, layout and cuisine, the Gurkha is a lovely place, competitively priced with awesome food!

Been coming here for the buffet for years. The food is really good and alot of choice. Nice friendly staff too.

I looked at the website and thought I’m not eating here as it didn’t look good BUT BUT BUT I went for my nieces birthday and I was shocked when I walked in. First thing was how immaculate and clean inside was, the smell of fresh food, the food looked fresh and was nicely laid out and labelled even for gluten free products. Staff couldn’t do enough to help which w as a nice touch. I can honestly say how impressive this place was and I shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. The food was outstanding I as a family event we couldn’t be happier!

When you go to restaurant what you expect, good food, hospitality and price? Great food, hospitality and reasonable or cheap rate. This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been. If you are in Blackpool and wondering where to go for dinner then go to this one. You won't regret going there. Definitely one of the best Nepalese restaurant overseas.

The gurker bar is good it's frenley and a founten of knolage as the people who drink there if you have a diy problem if you ask them they they will point you in the right direction.

Very good. Besides the usual buffet style food, which was good anyway, there was the Nepalese section. This was very tasty with the option of a pretty hot curry as well. Even had a good beer on draught, Moretti. All at a really good price.

Didn't stay at the hotel; just a visit to the restaurant. Food was excellent as always. Not the biggest selection compared to some places that offer a buffet, but everything they offer is excellent.

It has great staff they are very friendly The food is always hot, fresh and tasty and it's a very clean venue, and is great value for money. It is as good as when I was in Hong Kong 20 year's ago. I recommend this place well worth a visit.

The hotel had lots of atmosphere. We stayed two nights over the festive period and found the staff welcoming and eager to please. The restaurant offered a buffet (as much as you could eat) including Napolees, Indian, Thai and Chinese with around 50 dishes, all of which were worth a try. The rooms were clean and of a good size, well worth the £90 for two nights.

Good price for a nights stay. Rooms are fair size, a little dated but clean. A bit far out from the action in Blackpool, taxi needed to tower area.

Visited the Gurkha on Sunday, yet again unbelievable food, the staff are well mannared and present to chat to, we visit this restaurant often, and have never had a bad experience, next month we have the pleasure of taking our friends who are over from Malta, and friends from Manchester and Birmingham in October, and we would not hesitate to recommend the Gurkha Restaurant to anyone, never will you find such a banquet of well presented food of all tastes, since the refurbishment and investment by the management it just gets better, and we must give credit to the staff, who I can only describe as friendly, curtius and above all helpful. We now spend our Christmas day having Christmas Dinner at the Gurkha, again never had a bad experience.

Really nice place, not as huge as Chinese buffet or Mr basrai but with a lot of food to choose. Eating there you feel more than like in a restaurant than a buffet. Staff are very polite. Highly recommended.

The gurka is the best buffet in blackpool. The hygiene is top notch and the staff are lovely. Love the place. 5 stars.

Absolutely amazing food, with an exceptionally large selection beautiful foods, the food is freshly cooked and nothing is sat waiting to go bad. Overall I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

, the food here amazing, u have a choice of over 40 dishes to choose from, Chinese, Japanese, Nepalese, Indian, ghurka, all u can eat for around £11 there is table service, you can book or just walk in, very friendly staff & a clean warm place, I would highly recommend this place, families, couples, party's, groups.

Food quality and service is excellent, but the hotel management is not very good. I have stayed here 5-6 times over the last 6 years. The rooms in hotel are getting better but the service seems to have gone downhill. The reception for the hotel and the restaurant is the same and its in the restaurant. The resturant is always busy which doesnot help when you are checking in. It feels like they make most of the money from the restaurant so the hotel feels kind of neglected. But the food is probably the best in blackpool.

I have not been here for a long time and decided to go back as it was my birthday … Since the last time I was their it has changed hands and been done up which was very nice and the new members of staff were very pleasant and polite and very accommodating … even bringing me some cake out with a candle in it — So thankyou for that! Most of the food was lovely (duck was a bit dry though) … some a little too hot for me though lol … But overall a very good and pleasant evening … reasonably priced and enjoyed by me and my family. Decided to go to the Gurkha for dinner with friends for the all you can eat buffet. While this isn't as large a selection as some other buffets in the Blackpool area, all the food on offer was excellent. The staff were friendly, and the prices reasonable. I can thoroughly recommend the Gurkha to anyone looking for good food at good prices.

What a great place to go for drinks in the bar or an all you can eat fresh cooked meal in the buffet restaurant. 50 plus dished from around the world. Love the Chinese canopy. Really authentic. Highly recommended. 5 star. Dil and his staff are lovely too.

Had a great meal in here last week, this is probably the best buffet in BLACKPOOL, and the pub is not bad either, staff were very helpful as well, this seems to be well supported by locals that in itself should tell you something.

Nice room and delicious food what I expected.

Pay a few quid and help yourself from a range of Nepalese, Indian, Chinese and Thai dishes — all you can eat. Extremely high quality food. Great value. Pleasant atmosphere and very friendly staff I can easily say it's the best buffet restaurant I've ever been to by some way. I live in Essex and we have a few very good oriental buffet type restaurants in the area (Aroma in Basildon is my favorite. East in Southend is good) but the range of dishes at the Ghurka Restaurant puts it above anything else I've ever tried. Worth visiting Blackpool for this alone.

Wonderful meals there where six of us and not one complaint service very good and the owner Netra alias Natalie was a delight.

Beautiful experience in a hotel opened by the people from our own country. Everything was good n' the best part was that it has a buffet with loads of varieties.
