We ate here today for my mums birthday and the food, decor and service was brilliant! Huge food portions! Thank you and we highly recommend 😊

Having just recently moved to the area, it's a lovely local place for drinks and lunch. And great for me, as Dog Friendly, so I can pop in with my Dog. Staff are always Friendly and accommodating, always a nice Friendly atmosphere will most definitely be going back! Food great too!

Great Menu and the quality of the food well surpassed my expectations. My burger was superb — two patties that were perfectly seasoned /juicy and tender served with a propper classic pickle in a beautiful bun, accompanied by home made slaw (this was fresh and crunchy)
and onion rings that were light crisp and soo flavoursome. There was also a perfect amount of well cooked chips that I couldn't get enough of! @streetburger could learn a lot from this little gem! My friend only had a couple of starters but the chicken wings fell off the bone and were well glazed — a mamouth portion of onion rings (I helped as they were that good! ) Service from first arrival all the way to the end was freindly and speedy by all of the team — Great team atmosphere was easy to pick up on and even a late arrival was no issue.
Chef was also around to speak to guests about the food, which is always a top point when dinning — pride and knowledge about his food — seeing the other dishes coming out gave me food envy!

After a long day taking children through their drama exams I had booked a table for the early evening. It was my husband’s birthday the day before and wanted to have a meal locally. The food was great and service equally attentive. I didn’t ask for anything just noted it was a birthday meal. The final touch (see pic) was a very ‘sweet’ one. 👍👌

Special thanks to Sharon & the team for making my lockdown 50th birthday so special. We had a lovely takeaway meal for 7 which wss delicious! A massive thankyou for my prosecco, card & pud also. We are looking forward to visiting in the very near future. Well done guys for all your hard work.

Ordered my takeaway Roast whilst I was at work. Helpful, cheerful and polite gent took my call. Went to collect at designated time. Certainly not disappointed. A nice touch of sprig of rosemary and apple sauce.

Greeted by a masked lovely woman, who showed us to our socially distanced table.
Given our menus by a super guy wearing a mask.
I chose a selection of small plates which were absolutely delicious.
Husband had the Queen's burger which is always good.
I felt very Covid safe through the whole time I was in the restaurant.
Would absolutely recommend it to everyone.

Just had a delivery for lunch and the food is amazing! Still really hot as if you were sitting in the pub and the food had just come out! Really helpful and even delivered some flour and butter for me so I didn’t have to take my children out! Highly recommend!

Another great networking meeting at The Queen’s Inn. We meet the first Wednesday of each month and the staff always make us very welcome with friendly and efficient service. Highly recommend this venue.

Just had Sunday lunch here today 26th January 2020. Food just lovely. No complaints. Good service. I’m just gutted this place is 25 miles away from us and not our local!

Lovely place with lots of character and original features. I was photographing wedding preparations there recently and really enjoyed it!

Really wonderful historic pub. From its food and drink to its atmosphere and service, the place oozes great taste. Its design and intergration of old with new is astounding. The dark ancient wood and beams fit perfectly with the more recently updates modern cream colours, making the place feel cosy and trendy. Their new section, which prepares mainly pizzas and barbeques foods, only adds to their already exquisite menu which satisfies any customer with any flavour palate. The prices are reasonable and offer good value for money.

Great hotel and restaurant, I stayed a night before my wedding and had an excellent dinner and breakfast. The hotel room was extremely spacious (Room No. 4) and looking forward to returning in the future.

Our 4th visit! The Queens Inn never disappoints. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food is really good with something for eveyone. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, can't ask for more. I would highly recommend.

Stayed two nights and received a warm welcome from helpful staff. The ivy and wisteria clad Inn has plenty of character and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Bar snacks are available and there are two restaurants, where the food is well cooked and tasty. There is a large car park to the front of the pub and it is situated in a quiet location.

Enjoyable lunch but would like to see a more varied menu. No complaints with what we had.

My wife and I had lunch: both enjoyed our choices: 1) Plaice fillets with crab and (2) roast beef and blue cheese sandwich. Disappointing coffee: rather bitter with separated milk fat floating. Staff were polite and efficient, but one seemed to be unable to smile. Overall a pleasant lunch, and we will return again.

Had a little run out to Hawkhurst from Orpington for the day and stopped here for a quick lunch. Only had ciabatta sandwiches but they were very tasty (chicken very moist and freshly cooked) and a very well presented side salad! The chunky chips were lovely and crunchy and lightly salted. A very comprehensive menu, from main meals to pizza to smaller plates. Something to suit everyone’s taste and budget. The staff were friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend this pub/restaurant for lunch or dinner!

Really great service. We immediately felt at home and special at the same time. The rooms are very very comfortable (nice big bed! ). We really enjoyed breakfast and dinner too!

Excellent pub! The food is fantastic, service is excellent and very good choice of beers. They even got a gin menu! They also open the Charcoal kitchen where they serving great pizzas!

We had dinner here recently as its one of our locals. The service was awful and we stood at the bar for almost 10 minutes before anyone actually acknowledged us. I was about to leave but my girlfriend wanted to stay. I think we got food over an hour later and it wasn't worth the wait. Chips which were stone cold in the middle, Peppers which looked like they were plated up when Tony Blair was Prime Minister and our waitress who looked like she had been on a 3 day bender didn't say a word to us. When I asked for mustard she just gave me a look and needless to say, did not return with mustard. Worst meal I've had in years.

Was taken their as a surprise. Couldn't fault it. Staff are very friendly, service is very good. Was not kept waiting at any time. Food was excellent. Hot and very tasty, presented well. Would reccommend it to all.

This is just a beautiful friendly place to go have a drink or even better have food. The staff are super friendly and would recommend this to anyone go and have a super time.

This is one of our favourite pubs! We've been for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the past — each experience always being exceptional with a cosy and warm atmosphere. Lovely comfortable interior, friendly staff and delicious locally produced ingredients. Highly recommend.

Good for a drink and a meal in the new charcoal kitchen. Menu in main restaurant a bit limited however. Rooms very nicely appointed.

Charcoal Kitchen was very good, great service and great tasting food. Full restaurant menu also very good if you're eating in the bar or restaurant.

Located near High Weald AONB, this is a lovely old building, which has been tastefully turned into a hotel with well decorated and equipped rooms. The little touches like a cafetierre and real coffee with chocolate brownies in the room just add to an experience made whole by excellent, friendly staff, delicious food and a well stocked bar. Breakfast was particularly delicious and served until 10.00 allowing a lazy start if that's what suits. Would definitely stay again…

Just had a wonderful 1 night stay here and it was wonderful. I actually had a bath in room 5 which was so relaxing. No kids just chill! Love Orla Keighly products too. I can still smell them now. Food was fantastic and viable of Hawkhurst is lovely too. Highly recommend.

Lovely restore very old traditional British inn. It is however expensive.

Good food. Friendly atmosphere. Two restaurants including a great grill / pizza restaurant.

Very nice friendly pub. Definitely elegant and most likely for the mid to upper class kind of people. But very nice — meaning no rowdy people turn up like some other pubs near by. Very cosy environment and extremely warm in a rainy day. Good selection of beers and ales and seems like a nice place for dinner. Aesthetically very pleasing and clean.

I stayed here the night before and the night of my wedding, in room 5.
The service we received was beyond outstanding!
The staff here couldn't do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
They sent us a continental breakfast hamper up on the morning of my wedding so we could start to have a little bite before a full English was brought up a little later — all at no extra cost.
They tidied the room up whilst we celebrated our wedding so it was clean and tidy when we …returned in the evening.
The brownies in the room are to die for! Absolutely nothing negative about our stay. 100% perfect service. Well done to all! And thank you =)

Food was good and atmosphere was great. We were seated in the bar area instead of new restaurant area as we were a big group but the atmosphere was still good. Chicken burger and vegetarian anti pasting we're good, draught cider and wine good also.

Obnoxious front of house. Very unpleasant staff, that are condescending and rude. Especially Lydia. Would recommend eating elsewhere.

Great selection of drinks, food is fantastic, staff are friendly and the environment is also very nice.

Stopped for a few drinks after work. There's a somewhat eclectic selection of seating in the bar but no less comfortable for it. The staff are cheerful and chatty, and the prices were reasonable. We also spotted a good selection of bar snacks; a nice change from the usual crisps.

Good food and plenty of places to walk before collapsing.

We stayed for a couple of nights over Easter and found the room (room 1) to be noisy and extremely hot which didn't make for a good nights sleep — we ended up having all of the windows open over night in March! Later we found out that the room was over the tumble dryers and kitchen in/out door which explained the heat and noise. Staff were friendly enough but we found breakfast to be slightly limited in terms of items on offer and time breakfast was available (9-10). Whether it was just unfortunate timing but on one night we had to park our car on the road as parking was limited. Having paid to stay I would of expected some reserved parking for guests and I didn't particularly like leaving my car in unfamiliar surroundings on the street.

A fantastic inn, rooms very boutique, we had the best room in the inn, room 5, would definitely return. So much character with a very eclectic interior design.

True to their mantra, we ate, drank & slept. Didn't need to venture out at all after we checked in. 5 Star all the way.

Looks nice — think staff need more training. Asked for a Gin & Tonic — I got a Gin & Tonic in a glass — no ice and lemon — basic stuff! Had a burger that arrived as a burger in a bun, with winterslaw, onion ring and chips, yummy but no lettuce etc with burger. Venison meatballs great but a spoonful of mashed potato smeared across the plate and that was it… With a group of friends and men asked first what they wanted, no problem with this but usually start with the girls… Decor nice but not sure that we would go back again.
