Great breakfast and really friendly hosts. Just a short walk into Dover town and seafront.

Loved it owners so lovely and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Room comfortable and very clean, breakfast was good and we could choose the items on the full english. I would stay again definitely.

Very clean big rooms. Friendly. But one must still be strong because of the steep stairs to the rooms. Shower very small only head shower.

Stayed at this place a couple of time as my work require that I stay overnight in Dover. It's a lovely and warm b&b that I highly recommand! Can't say anything about breakfast as I always have to leave before 7am but Mr Michael always leaves the cereal out so we can get something in our stomachs before travelling back which is much apreciated.

Clean room but not ensuite shower was cold difficult to park as I had large work van had to park on side st great location great hosts can't comment on food as didn't eat.

A Lovely, welcoming and helpful couple. Everywhere was clean and tidy and we had a great night's sleep. Unable to speak for the breakfast as we didn't partake. Would recommend.

The guest house is located near the railway staition and an easy walk into the town centre. The room was clean and comfortable and there is off street parking. The hosts made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble, and the breakfasts were very generous in portion. I have coeliac disease, requiring a totally gluten free diet, and every care was taken to avoid any contamination with non gf food in the preparation and serving of my breakfast. Definitely recommended!

Had a great time with my mum and husband. Such friendly owners made us feel welcome. Clean room and nice breakfast. Perfect base for sightseeing and visiting other places.

It was a fairly late booking and cheap. Clean and tidy, West Bank Guest House is well presented and maintained. Check-in was simple enough although I parking on-site can be like a game of Tetris. The single room, shared bathroom was adequate for me and whilst not quite like a revamped Travelodge gave me a comfortable nights sleep. The shower room light takes a short while to give any light (LED lighting) and the shower is clean and reasonable. I'd stay here again for the same price point if needed.

I stayed at this Guest House on 18 June 2016. As a single traveller, I needed a good night's sleep at a reasonable price before traveling home and this was exactly what I got! The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was absolutely stunning. With very friendly owners it made it all I needed at the right price. X.

Located only 15-20 minutes walk from the town Center (or 5-8 minutes with bus), the Westbank guest house is fairly close to everything. For a guest house it's pretty good and comfortable, but perhaps more suited for a very short stay. The good — Beautiful and spacious room — Friendly reception — Good heating The not so good — very noisy with thin walls that lets every sound in, be that the cars or other guests — Fixed standing shower could be better with more water pressure, but the temperature is good — Unreliable Wi-Fi.

Cold rooms and a pretty creapy guy running the place. When I stayed here with friends ahead of a channel swim attempt in September he said he hoped we didn't get morning glory' as we'd end up sword fighting each other in the morning. Playful banter maybe but it was a bit weird.

Nice place to stay. Friendly people and excellent breakfast. Beds a wee bit uncomfortable. Bathroom is small but clean :-)

We had booked a room and had vehicle trouble on route so called ahead as requested on the booking confirmation. At the time it was repaired we called the guest house again to tell them we were on route and our ETA. The rude person on the phone told us the doors would be locked, refused us our room and told us to go elsewhere. We felt this was appalling customer service to just tell their clients they had nowhere to stay late on a Sunday night. Luckily another friendly guest house gave us a room at short notice. My advice to all, avoid like the plague. This place doesn't really deserve the 1 star!

Stayed one night at this hotel and it was average. I have been to a lot of B&B's and for the price of £60 a night it is on the pricey side of what you get. My partner and I could only get a twin room — which was fine but both mattresses were horrible! You could feel the springs and they would dig into your back, we actually couldn't stand the comfort of the mattresses we made a bed on the floor out of the duvets they provided and slept there the whole night. £60 for a night on a floor is not what you pay for, we could of stayed on any floor instead of wasting £60! The key reason you stay in a bed and breakfast is for a good nights sleep in a bed and the quality of the beds was shocking. Need to change the mattresses! Other than that the shared bathroom was clean and okay.
