Thank you to Mark, Geoff and chef for a fantastic night for my Mums 80th birthday! Food was gorgeous and the table looked beautiful. Highly recommend xx.

I booked to have a surprise meal for my husbands 50th birthday the staff were really helpful and friendly and went that extra mile to make it special for us and as always the food was delicious. Thank you so much x.

Stopped here today for a carvery with the family and had the carvery and was really impressed with the food really tasty lovely service. Just gutted I didnt leave room for pudding :)

Three large breakfasts and a veggie for me! Regular sausages were apparently really tasty. My veggie breakfast was great! cuppa. Juice. Toast… 4 huge breakfasts … 4 happy customers!

Just been to The Waterfront for an evening meal for the first time. Would highly recommend, lovely meal, nice window seat, attentive staff and very reasonably priced. Will definately go again!

At the Waterfront for our £25pp Christmas dinner. Had our starter and main course. Got pudding and coffee to go but need time as totally stuffed. Fresh veggies and beautifully cooked meat.
Can't go wrong.

We stayed here with 2 little kids and our dog. Comfortable furnishings, nice see from the “Quadruple” room and being dog friendly a bonus! Ideally located to explore deal, or just stroll along the beach and convenient parking really close by (pay and display between 9am-5pm).

We had a fantastic time. Staff really nice. Food good. Room very comfortable Would recommend The price was good.

Friendly welcome and swift service in an intimate atmosphere. Food was wonderful and excellent value. We were not hotel guests, nor had we booked, but we were warmly received. The whole menu looked good. I would go back if the opportunity arose. For my American friends visiting Deal for the first time, this was their second visit to the restaurant in three days!

Jolly good day Sunday lunch. Very fair prices. Families and pushchairs catered for. Have also had weekday carvery. Enjoyed.

Stayed here for 5 days and all I can say is what a lovely place it is the breakfast was outstanding and even though we sometimes didn’t get up in time for breakfast they always accommodated us and when we got home late of a night and asked for a drink they had no problem in doing so! I will definitely be staying here again, very welcoming and the owner is just a gent.

Super friendly staff. Our starter of garlic mushrooms was lovely and I highly recommend them. For mains I had the carvery which was very nice but i'd like to of seen a better veg selection. The only down side to my wife's meal was that the chips were frozen instead of fresh but she didn't even need the chips as the mussels were plenty and very tasty. All in all a lovely meal at a good price and we will be back.

Had breakfast for a second time. Absolutely second to none. Brilliant service and the breakfast, the big one with extra black pudding with fried bread was all very tasty!

The waterfront serves good food and the staff are very polite and very kind.

Excellent Meal you have a choice of Carvery or Menu, The carvery is excellent really good food choice of meats &Veg, First time iv eat here and think I will be returning again for a meal excellent.

Good breakfast and fair sized clean room. Shower and seperate toilet served at least four rooms (not come across that in a while). Had to be one of the worst showers I have ever used — temperature went from good to ice cold to scalding hot (and I do mean HOT!, the temperature would severally burn any young toddler) the shower even stopped completely several times as I was trying to use it. Minor points — No coat hooks in room, no lamp shade on room light, nowhere to hang your towel or clothes in the shower (if you put them on the floor use the left side as you face the shower as the right side puddles), corridor and bedroom doors creak (you know when everyone else is up and about), bed noise from any movement, no sanitiser in toilet (empty) not good as there is no sink, bedroom sink hot water went from trickle to a torrent and back to a trickle. Staff — only met waitress at breakfast, cheerful and good natured. If the plumbing was sorted I would have given this a higher rating but two stars is generous given the potentially dangerous plumbing and temperature problems. (Not sure when the shower was last decaled but I don't think it was last month so would wonder how aware the guest house is of legionella and how to reduce any risks with their water system). This was a low budget stay so you do get what you pay for and without the plumbing issues it would have deserved at least another star. Would I stay there again — probably not.

Brilliant family run Hotel & Restaurant. Good fabulous and great service. In great location right opposite pier and just behind is the lovely town of Deal. Breakfast was best I've had in many places! Well worth a visit.

I stayed for one night whilst working in Deal, on arrival the hotel was closed so rang door bell which was answered swiftly. Checked into room 12, which was ample for my needs very cosy and spotlessly clean the bed was very comfortable if a little squeaky!. Tea and coffee making facilities in situ. Had time to freshen up before going down for dinner. The menu was vast and the food was delicious. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. After a peaceful night's sleep I had a wonderful breakfast plenty of choice and freshly cooked. I would definitely recommend and if work takes me back to Deal I will be staying again. Very good value for money.

Awesome breakfast. Ask for sauté potatoes and black pudding for that extra touch. Worth the extra £s. Delicious.

The lobby smelled of smoke when we entered but thankfully there was no such smell in the room, which was remarkably spacious, cozy and clean. Friendly staff, fine breakfast, well priced all around. No parking on premises, but the short stay lot behind the hotel is free from 1700-0900.

The best breakfast we have ever had. Lovely surroundings. The food was beautifully presented and was cooked to perfection. Very attentive and friendly staff. To top it all, excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend and will certainly be going back again.

Had 4 breakfasts here and I'd thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Good value for money and a bonus is the staff are really friendly.

Belter of a place, came for a night before going for ferry in morning. Chef does a good steak and all good with the kids Situated on beach aswell good views.

The hotel houses a webcam on the roof so check it out for a better idea of its position. Lovely hotel literally seafront! We stayed 2 nights my husband and I with our 2 children/teens and dog. The room was very nice and spacious, very clean, Great view. Vast choice of breakfast, freshly cooked. We also recommend this place for lunch and dinner. The staff is pleasant and the owner, Mark is really lovely and attentive to his guests and really goes the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your staying!

Nice little place. Very well situated. Decor in the rooms could be doing with a bit of an update. But was cheap and cheerful. Breakfast was nice and included in the price.
