Cackle hill lakes Lodge

We had a fantastic stay, lodge was immaculate and everything was there we needed, Mark caught some lovely fish. The lakes are lovely, the surrounding areas are clean and tidy. Karen and Tom are so helpful and friendly. We cannot wait to come back.

Just back from a 72hr had a brilliant time even tho I didn't catch anything but my mate had a pb cat weighing 64lb 8ozs staff are very friendly and the food in the cafe was top notch will definitely be going back again.

Tough but good fishing. Gayle was very helpful on the phone when I booked. Beautiful countryside.

Would recommend cackle hill lakes for greatly run complex the owners and staff really can't do a noth for, family has been coming here for the last 9 years, complex is clean and tidy, really can't say how great this place is,

Fabulous time spent at Crackle Hill, Lodge was fab, husband and kids loved fishing on the pleasure lake, staff so helpful and friendly.

We went for lunch in there on site cafe, great food and friendly staff 🙂

Had a great 36hrs session at cackle hill great service really friendly and welcoming couldn’t do enough for us and to top it off had my new PB on a catfish 38lbs 3 oz thank you and will book again very soon.

Would highly recommend this lake, did 2 nights last week caught my PB finally. I think most of that was down to the great help from the bailiff Paul, very friendly and well kept lakes.

Fished it twice now and must say really well run and lovely venue with some lovely fish in it. Spot on fellas that own it and great team down there would defo recommend it.

Best fish I've see not a bad bone on them all there fish ure big and bound to be a pb.

What a venue, beautifully kept, with a great and knowledgeable team. Good food and so reasonably priced when you see the condition of the fish and fishery. Keep up the great work — I'll be back in a few weeks :-)

What a great place to be,
from the food. In the cafe to the knowledgeable baliffs an very helpful owners, made me feel very welcome an was at hand for a few tips when needed, sadly didn't manage to bank a fish on my trip, but would highly recommend, see you all very soon.

Hey Peeps. We have been staying at Cacklehill Lakes for 5 months now, enjoying the amazing lodge and all Cacklehill Lakes has to offer.
Evening walks round the 3 Lakes all 3 with their individual characters and scenery. Beautiful sunsets with ducks splashing through the water and sometimes carp near the surface basking in the sun.
We are actually staying here whilst in between selling and searching for our forever home.
We couldn’t have been made more welcome. Dan, Gail, Tom and Karen have gone over and above what we would have expected for 5* accommodation. All of them such brilliant hosts!
We were not in any hurry to find our perfect house as we were enjoying Cacklehill Lakes which has given us a chilled relaxed environment with all the home comforts that you would want.
So if like us you require somewhere to live between homes
Cacklehill Lakes is most certainly the place to go.
As for fishing, truly 5* too. My Husband, Son, Son in law and Grandson are regular anglers here. Please see photos of our Grandson Samuel Watts catching some monsters and excellent examples of beautiful healthy fish He has even caught his UK PB here on the top lake.
Samuel and his dad Adam go off to France fishing every year, and we’re proud that he has become an accomplished angler!
