We have a Christmas lunch every year at The Waverley, and we were so pleased to be able. To do so again this year. Our lunch today was delicious as always, great service, fantastic understanding and care with food intolerances too, and really child friendly, very accommodating. We also love going to live music gigs at the Waverley throughout the year, and Tim. And Julie and the team have done everything possible to keep live music going through the most difficult of times.
Can't recommend the Waverley enough, and really look forward to our next visit.

Very enjoyable cheese and wine evening. Extremely knowledgable wine merchant who chose 6 wines, soon to appear on the Waverley Inn wine list. Excellent quality wines and tasty selection of cheese to accompany them. Great company, great value, great evening!

What a lovely welcome we got from Tim, Julie and the team. We had the family room which was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was to die for, and nothing was too much trouble. We'd definitely come back and stay again!

The Sunday lunch was tasty and the service was friendly. We were made welcome and nothing was a bother. The Waverley is a credit to the island. I would recommend it highly.

Tim and Julie are great hosts and the rest of the staff are always friendly and helpful. Great food and service and a plug here for the Waverley Folk and Music Night held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday nights.

What a false environment. Landlord not interested. Landlady non existent. Lovely well educated waitress saved the day. The place is empty, no surprise.!

Excellent staff. Immaculate toilet facilities. And good range of food and drink. Well worth a visit with loads of parking and superb beer garden.

Really do not know what is like on the inside, but I was nearby during a ghost walk. This place has some cool stories about. If you are interested.

Both the owners and the staff are very very polite. To me that means alot. The building itself is a lovely Victorian building. Extremely good quality food and the rooms are nice also. Would highly recommend! A.

The we've rely inn is an old victorian inn Yes it old. But has a very interesting history back ground. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Tim and Julie two lovely people who aim to make there guest feel at home with a very warm welcome. Go out of their way to try and support people with dietary needs Glutten free. Both Julie and Tim and all their are lovely people very supportive and happy to help All have good knowledge of the island.

Really nice, and dog friendly too. My husband was going to go yesterday, but it was so popular (as they screen the footie there) he could get in. But yes, its very good food too.

Lovely large dining bar. Much better inside than out. Good food and varied menu.

The last time I visited was 3 years ago and it was a dump now it's turned a corner and is back on track well done.

Unfortunately lots of work in progress, no breakfast as chef failed to turn up although owner did reimburse for a breakfast bought elsewhere and very apologetic. Room ok but wouldn't stay again. Lovely pub atmosphere if you like that.

As a international entertainer traveling world wide, popped in to support a local band and was verbally asked to f… off out of the pub as we had not fitted into the crowd, the landlords excuse was we did not buy a drink on arrival, we were waiting for the band to have a break to get a drink, if this is the service as clients in our late 50’s get and do not look like the locals, then this is not the sort of place that is for people who do not fit into the shallow views of a licence owner.

Great food! Perfect portion size for the price. Very good dealing with gluten free option for my mother too. Always a plus. Lovely, helpful staff. And finally a great selection of ales, drinks and crisps! Only thing keeping it from being a 5* is that it was pretty roudy in there because of the football. I get that it's a pub, but, maybe use the second room for sports and keep the main room for casual drinkers and people looking to eat and socialise in a quieter atmosphere? Can't really complain, I'll come for the football now too! Just know your customers.

The staff are really friendly and welcoming and there is a good selection of beverages on offer here. The food is quite good too, with a typical style pub menu.

To close to a cross roads with traffic night and day. Its a pub not really catering for holiday makers. It does not segregate holiday makers from drinkers using the pub. Poor facilities in the rooms.

Such a warm welcome. The room was clean compfy and big. We had the family suite. The breakfast were yummy and set you up for the day. We ate here every night as well. The pub grub is homely and lots of it. Very tasty. The best bit was that they welcomed our very large greyhound Ernest as well. We had a fantastic stay here we will definitely return. Thank you.

Good selection of drinks, and friendly staff. Strange mix of scruffy locals and family's eating dinner though. A bit of confusion of what the pub is… a restaurant or a dive bar.

Great family run pub. Good food at a great price, friendly staff always happy to help and live music every weekend! Love the place! Also has a good jukebox, pool table and a lovely beer garden!

Nice place for a peaceful pint and to read the papers. The food is good too.

We just stayed the one night but would definitely stay again, the rooms were large clean and comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms and plenty of tea and coffee xx We had dinner before we went out and food was great lovely and hot, breakfast in the morning was amazing eggs cooked to perfection. Oh and the home made marmalade was lovely. Have to say it is an absolute bargain staying here highly recommend x.
