Just a thought whilst the lockdown is in place and given your locality would it make sense to offer reduced parking fees to the hard working NHS staff at the near by Lister hospital, by doing this the carpark would be brining in revenue and you would also be giving back to the community.

Food was good but they are understaffed.

Always like Premier Inn. Friendly staff & usually a decent Beefeater or Thyme Restaurant alongside. Comfortable rooms and bed. Only downside for me is they can be expensive. Otherwise I would use them more.

Pity they cannot tune the TV as many channels are absent. The sound cannot be set to an audible level. All similar brand hotels have the same problem Otherwise a good place to stay.

Just one night stat and was as we expected it to be. Clean and sufficient for a short stay.

Worst premier in I've stayed at, rooms were hot (no Aircon) and musky smelling and I would say the rooms have had a deep clean in years. Our view was a nice building brickwork that's if I could of opened the window wide enough I could of touched.

Our stay was excellent staff rooms food in Beefeater all excellent location was as well as we spent alot of our time at the hospital.

This hotel offers everything you would expect from a Premier Inn, fast check-in service at Reception and decent rooms to get some rest. The room we had appeared to have been refurbished somewhat recently, everything was very clean and modern, with plug sockets beside the bed now replaced with USB ports (5v 2A for anyone that’s interested). There’s a big TV in the room and a comfortable bed. The shower works, but it’s certainly not a power shower. The only reason I’m giving this a four star rating is the cooling of the room. Granted Premier Inn do tell you on their website there is no air conditioning, but their workaround is to supply a floor standing fan … along with instructions/tips on how to stay cool in the heat. The tips say to move the fan to in front of the window to push through some cool air. That’s all good, but there’s no power socket that it can reach if it’s anywhere near it! Overall a lovely hotel, perhaps consider alternatives if you don’t cope well in hot weather.

Perfectly good rooms, no complaints here. Rather excitingly, there were USB ports by the bed! Amazing!

Extremely clean, comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. Hardly any noise from adjacent restaurant. Ample parking.

Nice Premier Inn, very friendly staff and amazing location near the A1 outside London. Car park is a bit tight but other than that, it's great!

The best Premier Inn I have visited, loads of sockets in good places and bright lights in the room!

Great place to stay if you are on a course paid for by your work.

No late bar. Bed uncomfortable. Beefeater across the car park was very poor service and very expensive. Won't be staying here again.

I was very impressed with this hotel, I have stayed in many premier inns and this is one of the best, the room was exceptionally clean, there was a USB socket by the bed — little thing I know but so useful, the staff were friendly and helpful and plenty of parking. I was there on business so can't say anything about what was around it, but it was easy to get back onto the a1m so was great for my onward journey. If I had to pick on anything negative it would be the pillows, there were supposed to be a choice of firm and soft, but for me they were all to soft, and the HDMI socket that was under the TV was broken, so couldn't easily plug my laptop in but all in I was very happy.

Great room as standard and close to the restaurant but carpark was an ice-rink after the recent snow.

The staff are great, the rooms are ok. But the floors creek and there is no phone coverage (2 different network providers) in rooms on the ground floor.

Great location. Lovely room with really comfortable bed and large flat screen TV.

Hotel staff were wonderful sadly my mother was in the hospital next door and we booked a room just to shower and change which they gave us extra towels.

Very pleasant Premier Inn. Stayed here twice in two different rooms, both perfectly acceptable; clean and tidy etc. Only slightly complaint is its near a fairly busy road so there is some constant background noise. Not enough to disturb me but maybe others?

Pleasant staff, room and facilities as expected, attentive bar and restaurant staff.

As you would expect for a Premier Inn, but newly refurbished so clean and smart. Beefeater does decent food and the staff there were accommodating of our group of 12.

The hotel staff was amazing and catered to my need very well. I needed an early checking because the wedding was at 12. Special mention to CATH who worked at the receptions on Saturday morning. CATH is a true legend and lovely lady. She was able to go above and beyond the call of duty. She also has a lovely smile and a welcoming demeanor. Thanks for your wonderful reception CATH and saving my life by providing me with the spare wedding card. You absolute hero :) :) :) :) Hope to visit again in the near future.

Freshly renovated. Friendly staff and resturant ne t door does great food.

Very good rooms and staff. Beefeater restaurant very good too. Staff very helpful at reception.

Very comfortable bed, as usual with Premier Inns. Room was clean and tidy. The only thing that let it down was the attached Beefeater restaurant. The service was good, however, they gave my friends the wrong cuts of steak which turned out to be cheaper cuts, but then overcharged us for them. We didn't realise until the next day and it was too late to go back to complain. Also, both of the ladies toilet cubicles didnt have a working lock. Really quite dangerous from a safety point of view.

Hotel needs a bit of a facelift. Other than that it's functional for a stay over if nothing else.

Compared to other Premiers this one needs updating. Bed was good though.

I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions with my family and cannot rate it highly enough. On the past few occasions that I have stayed we arrived early and always without quibble they let us check in early… over 2 1/2 hours on one of our visits. The staff can never do enough to assist and the food is always top notch. If only all Premier Inn's were as good as this!

First class accommodation with staff willing to assist whenever possible. We need wet room facility for my seriously disabled wife and always find this available wherever we travel.
