A super pint great food and a fantastic warm welcome from steph and dean.

Just been here for New Year everyone made us so welcome. We have a dog and everyone accepted her. Room lovely and warm. Won’t think twice for coming back, this is our second visit and enjoyed it and feeling welcome.

Cracking pub, excellent staff, amazing landlord & landlady beautiful people — warm and welcoming no strangers here only friends that have yet to meet.

We won a meal for 2 at a local raffle and certainly struck lucky! We had lovely meals and fantastic service. Breaded mushroom starters were perfect home cooked large portions for main course, I had mushroom stroganoff, husband had mixed grill and teenage son enjoyed gammon, egg and chips… Such a lovely scenic area, we so enjoyed the drive there and the view from the restaurant We were greeted well, served drinks and taken to our table when we arrived, they were very attentive making sure we had everything we needed. Definitely highly recommended! ⭐ We were not far from home but felt like we were on holiday. — с Dazman James.

The staff were absolutly brilliant and so welcoming. I'm walking from John O'Groats to Lands End and I utilized the camping facilities but I was just blown away by how friendly everyone was at the Plough

Superb food, very friendly atmosphere, good selection of beer. All in all a great pub!

Pretty box standard hotel a bed a TV a simple room was clean but old carpets trodden down and scruffy looking no phone signal at best of times unless you walked round in circles or half way up the road till you got one. The bar area was nice little pub staff were nice. Also they have Wi-Fi but you had to go and sit in the pub to connect to it.

What a weekend. A friend and I stayed at the Plough Inn this weekend, and in all honesty we weren't expecting anything out of the ordinary, but I can say with absolute confidence that it has been the best weekend I've ever had; we only left once to go the shop and the owners, without hesitation, offered to drive us there. The guys that run the place and the locals are the nicest and most welcoming people. The food was perfect and the rooms were clean. We'll be returning as soon as possible.

Not a place I would recommend. There was an unusual smell as you entered the building and the entrance looked very untidy being a dumping ground for various outdoor games and other items. The bed linen had mud stains on it and the walls were rather thin so you could hear everything going on in the adjacent rooms. On the plus side the bathroom looked like it had been recently refurbished but had not quite been finished with the skirting missing and holes in the bathroom cabinet waiting for the handle to be fitted. A shame as the surrounding area is picturesque and from other reviews it sound like they put on good music events.

Had a fantastic festival weekend there at Hiraeth 2018. The pub team worked so hard to keep us musos happy, whilst still looking after the reg'lars and all the world cup footy fans. Proper village pub in a proper Herefordshire village, they got rooms and a campsite, so get there… There's another fest, "Bales n Ales", the last weekend of July… See you there!

Gorgeous countryside pub with a stunning beer garden and great food. Totally recommend it :)

Charming small pub in Little Birch. Friendly staff, good real ale. Outside area for good weather.

Lovely small friendly pub. Stumbled upon it while trying to find a local place to eat on a Sunday evening. Current owners saved it from closure a couple of years ago, and have put considerable effort into bringing it back to life. Good traditional food. Gather from owner that meat sourced from local trusted butcher. Pleases to find there were also several vegetarian options available. Generous portions at a very reasonable price. Thankfully avoided the current trend to replace plates with squares of wood or slate and serve everything with a few leaves of rocket! This family run establishment is well worth searching out to see if its your sort of place. To note… they also have a camp site and rooms available.

Fantastic little pub. Warm and friendly only stayed one night due to unforeseen circumstances didn't have much belonging with me but they went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Home cooking food would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for 4 nights and what a delight it was! Steph and Dean were great, the staff were great food was great and the cider was locally brewed! Couldn't of asked for a better place to stay, very cozy. Would stay again and would recommend.

Two friends and I stayed at The Plough Inn with our cavalier show dogs en route between shows.
Due to circumstances beyond our control we were much later arriving than anticipated and the kitchen was just closing — however we were made welcome by our Host, and Chef happily kept the kitchen open for us to enjoy a very welcome meal after a long day showing our dogs.
Our rooms were comfortable and clean.
Our dogs were also made welcome and all 7 joined us in the bar for a night cap before bed.

Absolutely fantastic! Dean and Steph are so so welcoming! It's like being at home, the bed linen is so lovely. The staff are wonderful too, the food is outstanding compliments to the chef. Nothing is any trouble, such a relaxing place to stay, you can just sit outside or inside without any pressure being put on you to buy any drinks or food. Although I do advise you to try the ales, wine and Gin, all very nice. Very child friendly and family oriented place, the local folk are all friendly too, the quiz on a Wednesday night is good fun. All in all a very relaxing time, many thanks for our enjoyable and "chilled" stay! Cheers from the Costley clan.

It was over 2 years ago since we last visited The Plough during our regular visits to the UK.
Our good friends Dan and Tanya live in the village there and had kindly invited us over again.
We were welcomed by the owners of The Plough, who kindly let us in 30mins before the pub actually opened.
We had a very nice meal together with some quality drinks and our kids had a good time playing pool and darts in the back room.
Sadly we had to leave quite early because we still had a fairly long drive to our lodge in South Cerney ahead of us.
Overall a perfect evening though!
