Lovely morning spent in the cloud 9 spa. We had the use of the spa facilities a very relaxing massage and a very tasty lunch. The staff are friendly and helpful. The Hotel is really nice to.

My two sisters and I stayed here, It was very reasonable, staff were all accommodating and happy. The room was clean spacious and quiet. We enjoyed the pretty beer garden too. Cloud 9 was also lovely and relaxing. Thank you for a lovely break.

The staff were very friendly. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. And the spa was very relaxing! Very good pace to go for a few days!

Lovely staff. Beautiful hotel. Great food. Fabulous drink selection. Cloud 9 is gorgeous. The facilities are exemplary and a putting green and beer garden as well. Total package or what!

Excellent service. Quick and efficient. Disappointed to be charged £2 extra for pineapple and peas with small portion of gammon as this wasn't made clear on the menu.

Thank you for a lovely long weekend. We stayed with you as family were previously shielding from Covid19. I enjoyed a bacon sandwich or kipper for breakfast and my husband was keen on the full English breakfast with Gluten Free options. Our room was a deluxe with a great shower and tea and coffee facilities. The dressing gown and slippers were a nice touch too. We also made use of the swimming pool and spa which operated well with Covid19 measures in place, one person or family group in the sauna, steam room or jacuzzi at a time. We had a great time and would thoroughly recommend a stay here to friends and family.

How friendly it was, was a fantastic place, in fact I'm going to join, I feel so good about myself again, such a wonderful place to relax.

My steak was cooked perfectly, and was a very good quality cut. Selection of gins was very good, with some local ones.

Always enjoy it here, great atmosphere and food/drink.

We’ve had a fabulous day and evening at The Burton with a lovely swim at Cloud 9, a bit of pampering in the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi,. Lush!
We were very well look after by John and the rest of the team with lovely food and drinks.

Great place to listen to live music, plenty of space to sit and relax and more than enough room for those who want to dance.

Had a lovely day at the spa today never knew there was one near. Lots to do in the Spa jacuzzi was nice and hot and a big pool. Also a sauna and steam room. Staff were friendly and asking if we needed anything. Meal was lovely and we had prosecco with our package on ice. Would come again was a great evening thank you.

Good place to go for a quiet drink and meet up with friends, toilets are a treck away it'll be quicker to walk to London than to the toilets but besides that good place to go for food and drink.

Another excellent stay, good food, great staff, well worth a visit. Will be back again next year.

Great night, comfy beds and good prices. The pool and Jacuzzi were especially enjoyable.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff really made the stay a pleasure. We were in the main (older) hotel. The room was a good size and clean, although the the age of the building is apparent in the uneven floors. The swimming pool and spa are excellent, being clean and warm and of a good size. The food was lovely, although the breakfast was somewhat limited in healthier options.

Nice clean basic rooms, fab food, beer and staff giving a great atmosphere.

Check with the hotel if there are any functions on as you will be kept awake until they finish. Check the restaurant is not holding a function otherwise you will need to eat in the corridor. Food was however very good. You need to accept that the function is much more important than your stay. Room was very nice but not sure why deluxe. If you complain, be prepared to be asked, by the host, if you would like to move into another hotel at 12.00 am. Finally don’t assume the host will be available when you leave, to inform you there will be no charge for the room.

We popped in looking for a cooked breakfast… and they did us proud… excellent service, food and staff would highly recommend thanks… x.

Great swimming pool and Spa. Food in the bar was lovely, myself and my family had a great afternoon there.

Great family run hotel in a beautiful little town Enjoyed Cloud Nine the health club there too. Definitely the best place to be snowed in the weekend of 17th and 18th March.

This is a pub from 3 decades ago. That said, the service was friendly, and the surroundings comfortable.

Only popped in for breakfast, but the service was amazing. Jack was very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast however was cooked fresh with poached or scrambled eggs option, £9.50 per person. Will be definitely visiting again.

Excellent, fast service, with a smile, very reasonable prices, food was really good and excellent cup of coffee. Very good and will be going back again. Didn't go to look, but there is a gym and jacuzzi/pool etc too apparently! Told by a regular very nice…

Amazing quality food, fantastic swimming pool and facilities, we enjoyed a lovely comfortable stay, the staff were very accommodating. Would 100% recommend to anyone!

We had a lovely lunch. The waiters were fantastic and very efficient.

Have and cup of tea here with my sister most days and occasionally come for a meal in relaxing atmosphere. Food is excellent and also the service from all the staff. Always a smile off them everyone of them. Would recommend the Burton hotel to anyone!

Our best friends are members of Cloud 9. They invited us to be there quests for a swim etc. It was a fantastic afternoon. So lovely to have a pool sauna etc. So chilled. Thank you. If we could afford to be members we would as well. I go to the Burton for slimming world class. It it always very welcoming.

Nice food, warm atmosphere, never quite get on with the beer.

Menu choices in afternoon quite limited. Busy in bar close to Christmas but did find a quieter table to sit at.

We had to very comfortable 3 night stay. There is a good bar area and restaurant where the food is good and freshly prepared. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast.

Last meal out before heading home, good value quick service and worth a stop.

I had great hopes of this place when my wife and I arrived from London. The staff were friendly and the bar meal we ordered was served quickly and was excellent. The pool, sauna and jacuzzi were superb and free to residents. Great, I thought, as we went into town to check out other places for a beer and a chat. All went down the pan when we got back at 10.30pm to find the door locked and no answer to our knock. I should add that the hotel asks that if you are out after 11pm then ask for a key at reception, but we knew we'd be back early and looked forward to a nightcap before bed. At 10.30pm we were stuck outside a place which was locked and shut down. What the hell's going on here? I have stayed in hotels around this country and abroad and was never shut out mid evening. Luckily our hammering on the door alerted a guest who kindly opened the door for us and and we are eternally grateful to him. I will never come back to this hotel, especially as I know there is a much more visitor friendly hotel in Kington which I will frequent in future. If you are fogeys who go to bed at 9, then this is the place for you. God help you.

Very disappointing food on more than one visit. Tired décor, music playing over sports TV competing to drown out the appethetic indifference of the staff.

Pleasant place with friendly bar staff. I have only between here once but it seems to reflect the generally open and friendly attitude of Kington. When I get to know it better I might well give it 5 stars.

A lovely long weekend. The leisure centre and the breakfast service are really good, and the serving person on breakfast was particularly good. However, the décor leaves a lot to be desired and the reception staff were impolite and uninterested in providing any form of service at all. Plus the front door was too small to comfortably get in and out.

I stayed at the Burton hotel last weekend and I had a brilliant time. The hotel is situated in a nice quiet marke town, the room was spotless and the bed was soo comfortable. I have been warmly welcomed and all the staff beed very helpfull and friendly. Also the meal in restaurant surprised me. Was realy delicious. And I ended my stay by relaxing in the spa which was just a last bit of my great time. I would recomend to stay in Burton to anyone who is looking for great holliday. Thanks Burton team :).

1st Class service from the staff, pool area 100%. Food and bar very good. Good value for money Hotel. Would stay again no problem. Front of hotel needs a tidy up but inside is very good. Rooms OK for price, Good Beer choice when we were there. 4-5 other pubs with easy walk if you want a change one night.
