Cheap and great location for theme park. Reception staff were good and friendly. Room was musty smelling and a hot 27 degrees with no aircon and minimally opening windows. Bed was pretty comfy and clean. Breakfast was pretty good to be fair but the patio area is filthy and littered with months worth of cigarette butts that no one cares enough to clean up or consider to be a problem.

Had a wonderful stay here and very comfy bed. The room was quiet warm as there was no aircon but they provided 3 fans. My only complaint was the breakfast next door in the pub. It wasn't very nice at all. Such a let down. The sausages looked raw.

As usual a great stay… the proximity of Peppa pig land meant that he restaurant was absolutely packed… but it got very quiet after 8.30pm.

Amazing location for paultins park (and Peppa pig world) and surprisingly quiet considering the amount of children and families who must stay here. The breakfasts are in the hungry horse but they're pretty good really. I'd recommend getting there early to. Avoid the rush.

Great hotel, shame it has no air con but windows gave enough breeze. Staff went out of their way to give us another bed for our 4 year old which was great. Also attached to a hungry horse so great food. Breakfast is a little slow as there was not many people serving.

Rooms are clean and normal. No air con, but a fan. Power sockets are slow to charge devices. Pub/ restaurant is under staffed, busy and with a poor choice of food.

As they say, you get what you pay for, and this is true for this hotel. A perfectly adequate place to stay for one or two nights. Most importantly the beds are comfortable. It was full to bursting when we stayed, mainly with families with young children. The receptionist advised us to wait until after 9 to go into breakfast and this was good advice. Friendly and helpful staff, especially in the restaurant where they were run ragged. I would consider staying there again.

Friendly front of house staff at the hotel. Pleasant room for an overnight stay. We had a family room with a double and two small beds for kids, it was clean and did the job. The pub adjoining is a Hungry Horse ok to grab a drink but poor quality of food (to be expected for the price you pay).

Something more secluded, very quiet, the Restaurant as always with PI, at the house, the petrol station is a roundabout. Rooms at the PI standard with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV.

Got there very late the staff are very helpful nice and clean rooms.

Stopped here for an overnight stay and it seemed like it might be a good place to rest and get a meal. Unfortunately it missed the mark in my opinion. The staff were friendly but we didn't get the rest we were looking for on account of a constant stream of screaming kids past our room as late as 1030 at night. Also the pub attached was pretty lame. They had run out of a lot of things on the menu and this was Saturday. Also the food took forever and was really average. Would not recommend it.

Lovely rooms. Stayed for a week for work. Very nice food next door.

Staff on reception were lovely, however the noise was ridiculous I had other people's children trying my hotel door the noise down the corridor was disrespectful I had two small children with me who were constantly disturbed. The room next door found every possible door to bang. Location is great if your attending paultons park as it is just a 3 minute drive away. I would not recommend eating in the restraint next door service was terrible staff were rude and was completely under staffed.

Standard premier inn just off the motorway but in a quiet location. Adjacent to the vine inn which provides the meals for those staying. Large pub grub menu with a good choice of special offers on a daily basis.

Very clean and quiet Hotel. Air conditioning in the rooms and comfortable beds. Only down side is that is does not offer the usual meal deal like other premier ins though.

Its a premier inn. Need I say more? Clean, tidy, comfortable, friendly service. And if you don't fancy the full breakfast, there's a Macdonalds on the other side of the roundabout! Free internet was a bit slow (

Service very slow. Hour wait for food. Staff un helpful just shrugged shoulders when we complained. Accommodation however superb.

Nice postion close to the new forest, comfortable clean. Restaurant was good, food & service ok.

Stayed in a few Premier Inns over the last year, and this is the first I was not impressed with. Shower was dirty, black mould around shower tray. Dirt and hair along sliding door of shower tray. Bedroom was fine. When we arrived receptionist did not ask if we were booking in for breakfast. Had to ask when we were going out. I will not be going back.

We have stayed here for a few years now as excellent for peppa pig world, restaurant has changed hands and now a hungry horse, breakfast is no longer help yourself buffet. For me this was a let down as the cooked portions were small but I suppose the days of all you can eat are coming to an end due to financial constraints. Usual Premier Inn quality in room which is why we tend to book with them and location is ideal. Restaurant is what holds it back a bit.

The rooms were clean and tidy. It was excellent location for everything around. The restaurant attached was very busy at weekend and there was nothing else to eat close by so this was a bit annoying.

Big fan of premiere Inn but this has let me down. Mainly because the restaurant here is different company, not manage by premiere Inn. Breakfast: hot drinks served from a thermos so not descent at all, hot breakfast food you have to order and they bring it to you (not buffet) so you think it will be nice, freshly cook & warm, well you'll be wrong. I think they only do this so they can control the quantity, I bet they all pre cooked already in the kitchen. I have 18mth old DD so need milk. I was charge 50p which I didn't mind but they didnt charge the woman before me. They can pick & choose who they charge I guess because it's not premiere Inn. I will never stay in a premiere Inn that doesn't manage the restaurant they have that's for sure.

Bit noisy with guests talking in the corridor etc but, otherwise, a nice hotel. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Nice spacious room too. Didn't try the restaurant though.

Im a big fan of premier Inn's but this is the first time I have stayed in one and not loved it (and I stayed here 18 months ago). The room could have done with a good Hoover, the sealant around the bath is all black with mould, the shower pressure is rubbish, and the breakfast was mediocre. Still not bad value for the money just unusual from a premier inn.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as we were visting Peppa pig world. The room was lovely and clean very comfortable, reception staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. And the food in the hungry horse which is attached to the premier inn was great. I would definetly recommend this hotel. Thank you for a lovely pleasant stay.

All in all pretty good, just I wouldn't recommend the breakfast 8.99 all you can eat, expecting buffet style, but apparently cooked to order, bacon had the smell of bbq was white and very salty, spat it out, eggs where over cooked on the bottom, tea spoon of beans, sausages weren't great either, not very organised, would certainly do better with a hot plate buffet etc.

Bed was incredibly comfy. Floor very creaky, and woken by many children running down the corridor in the morninf. Staff extremely pleasant. OK for one night as long as you don't want a lie in!

We stayed here after attending my friends wedding in the New Forest. The room was a disability room and the floor was very creaky. We were located pretty much right next to reception so had to endure screaming children running up and down the corridor excited to go to Peppa pig world I can only assume. The bed was extremely comfortable though!

Lovely clean room. No air conditioning, but fan supplied. No complaints. Cooked Breakfast was to order rather than buffet. As this premier inn is geared up for peppa pig/paultons park there will be lots of small children running around.

Friendly helpful staff. Room was comfortable and clean. Pretty much standard Premier Inn. Attached restaurant served pretty good food, but appeared to have some issues with supply — several menu items were unavailable. Seemed busy though, so probably a one off.

Arrived Saturday evening and asked about evening meal to be told that it would be best to wait until after 7pm when most of the children would be finished. Went to eat at 8pm to find the dining area covered on used plates and dirty drinks glasses. Had been advised to go to the bar to order and was told that there would be an hour to wait. I took a glass of wine from the bar which was in a disgusting condition and sat down at the table with a book. Very quickly my first course arrived but I had to wait a full 50 minutes for the main course. Throughout this period, although children were running around, the dining area was about half full. When the main course arrived, it was overcooked and lukewarm. I have no doubt that, had I offered to wait for a meal after 9pm, I would have been told that meal serving was about to be finished. A late meal was not an option as I had an early start the next day. The dining area is a disgrace and a hygiene risk. Very few of the staff have any form of uniform and the clothes that they wear are dirty and unkempt. Eating in this particular establishment is not an enjoyable experience.

A great hotel with a modern interior and big screen TV with HDMI and other inputs, comfortable bed (in other words no complaints about the hotel) but the restaurant next door is NOT part of Whitbread. I've been told since that it's closing down by the end of 2016 as it gets such poor reviews and has a hygiene score of 1/5, but won't be taken over by Whitbread, so be wary of whatever replaces it. We cancelled our breakfast after having a poor experience for dinner the night before and I wish Premier Inn didn't sell breakfasts if you have to eat it there. We got a refund no problem, so suspect they're only too well aware how bad it is. Apparently it's the only Premier Inn where Whitbread doesn't run the associated pub/restaurant. Rating reflects hotel, not The Vine pub. Just eat elsewhere and you'll have a good night sleep.

Great value for money. Clean and comfortable for less than £60 per night for 2 adults and 2 kids (midweek).

Hotel Wonderful. Great service by receptionists at all times. Restaurant repulsive at best. Rude Lazy Staff poor food and drink quality. Cold Food, Flat Beer, Dirty environment, shocking Stock Management. Premier Inn hierarchy either needs to separate itself from The Vine or demand significant improvements. All of the above not acceptable in a competitive industry thesedays. Good location for Peppa Pig World, recommend the rooms for comfort and cleanliness just drive 5mins into Romsey for food.

Clean and tastefully decorated rooms, staff are nice and friendly, but didn't rate the food very highly.

Nice hotel and nice staff, walls are a little thin but overall an enjoyable stay.

Was happy with the room very clean but would not recommend hotel if you need to be here to eat or drink. Restaurant was not very good at all, service slow ran out of drinks, not all items ordered came out with meal when asked it came at end when finished. Lack of staff on duty so just closed bar without any warning so that we could get another drink at 9.55 pm. When trying to complain we just get told it's not part of premier Inn & your not the 1st to complain.

Ideally placed for Peppa Pig World. Just a 5 minute drive around the corner. Breakfast was good, but beware of the squeaky door as you enter. Don't sit near it… lol.

Recently refurbished, nice rooms. If you like Premier Inn, you won't be disappointed. I found the hotel staff friendly and efficient. No complaints at all.

The hotel is very good 4 star but the restaurant food and service are awful.

The accommodation itself is very good and of high standard, staff very friendly and helpful. It is a real shame that the fayre and square / vine inn that operate on the premises, which do the breakfast part of the B&B is a complete let down! Unfriendly staff, lack of custom towards customers! The quality of food is worse than any of the high street fast food chain. Cooked breakfast served cold! For that reason alone, I would never want to stay there, unless obviously I carry a pantry van of my own.

Good value accommodation, it's a standard premier inn room, and was fine for a couple of nights. It's a shame that there's no air con though as it was up to 28 in the room when we stayed, after asking a couple of times the reception staff did find us a fan. The breakfast at the attached beef eater grill was very good indeed.
