Fantastic bed and breakfast, gill was lovely and breakfast was delicious close to a lot of attractions also bus runs outside, also free parking permit. Well worth a stay.

A lovely B&B our stay was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious not to far from all, I would recommend It to others and come again.

Lovely decorated rooms The breakfast is great, she asked what we would like to have. It tasted very good. The owner is very nice and helpful in telling what there is to see.

Friendly welcome from host Gill. 5 bedrooms and a lovely breakfast. Approximately 10 minutes walk to the hovercraft port over to Isle of Wight, 15 minutes from Gunwharf Quay and 20 minutes from the historical naval port. The only thing we couldn't get our head round was how the electric shower worked but other than that all lovely.

What a wonderful place. Never had a welcome warmer! The breakfast is to die for and the homemade yogurt. Close to the dock yard and many other attractions. Rooms a lovely and clean beds are comfy, though you do have to run the shower a bit to get hot water.

So comfortable and welcoming. Some friends came to visit us for the afternoon and our host's assistant served us tea in the lounge. Our room is perfect — comfortable, clean, bright, everything we need and the breakfast was delicious too. Easy walking distance to attractions and good restaurants close by.

Beautiful room, very clean, everything you need including tea, coffee, towels, shampoo etc! Ample free on street parking with the permit she gave us on arrival. Delicious home cooked, breakfast. Lovely owner. Thank you, would definitely visit again next time we need retail therapy!

Lovely rooms. Great little touches like China cups and beautiful flowers. Amazing breakfast with handmade yogurt. Easy walk to the seafront or into town. Thoroughly recommend.

A beautifully quaint guest house that caters for all your needs in a central location. The hostess could not do enough to help us whenever needed. Will be making a return visit.

I really recommend the Pier hotel. The rooms were clean and pleasant, the food was good, the lounge was nice to relax in. Our host was very friendly, easy to contact and amenable. The location is great for walking. You're about 30 seconds from the seafront, 20 minutes from Old Portsmouth, 15 minutes from Gunwharf and the dockyards.

Fantastic hotel for the money! Gill is a lovely and good humoured lady, a perfect host and most importantly, an excellent cook! She offers lots of inspiring local knowledge and advice. Will stay again next time we stay in Portsmouth, thanks Gill.
