Lovely and quiet campsite with the most amazingly fab facilities.

Perfect little site. Used it to stop off before heading to Portsmouth harbour next day. Only 25mins drive away. Great facilities and close to town with some lovely restaurants.

Good small campsite close to the Riverside, the toilet block is very good, individual toilets and showers, but the mains pitches are small for large family tents, the site was very strict to location of car on pitch which restricts tent location. We were a group of two next to each other but was told to keep a walkway channel free between the pitches, we did and noone used it, they were happy to squeeze through past my car and the van next door. Also dispite a curfew a neighborhood played music past midnight with no assistant from the "Site Warden".

Julie and her husband can’t do enough for you, sadly not the same about the other wardens, even left the site when was on duty! No warden sign for them so don’t even know which caravan to go to if help needed. Cleaning of toilets / showers have been better, no mop and water to clean after yourself in the showers, think outside company do this? Free mini bus evening weekends a bonus. Hope next year things improve.

We came with a group of 50 for a reunion, most of them camping. All of them enjoyed Their week-end stay. The toilets and showers are individual rooms in one block. They were cleaned daily. Site wardens were very helpful. It was a pity that the Waters Edge Pub & Restaurant was Closed but under stand it is reopening soon. Although several reviews mentioned a £2.50 Daily charge for a dog, Our dog thought it was well worth it, as in the adjacent wood, which runs along the bank of the river, hé found several Small beaches where hé could Swim several times a Day. Lots of activity in the marina which could be noisy At Times. A great stay. Lots of WW2 history hère. The Landing craft for D-Day were assembled at the marina and the fuel facility at back of the marina was the entre point for the oil pipeline across the Channel for D-Day. Across the road is the old airfield which the ATA female pilots Used in WW2 to deliveraircraft all Over the country. Further down is the site of HMS Mercury. It was a Naval traing School around 1917 and finallyClosed in 1993. There is a mémorial in Mercury Close.

Came to southampton to visit my brother and sister as we live miles away. Loved the private clean little site. The biggest issue I had was the Wi-Fi and signal. To charge 3.50 a day is a joke being as my movie buffered for 11 minutes then started. Then stopped and lost all signal. My service provider had no service either. People rely strongly on telephone and internet connection. Unacceptable in my books. Otherwise, lovely weather, lovely stay.

Nice site. Clean and tidy. Pleasant wardens. Shame the Waters Edge bar/restaurant is closed for the foreseeable future in the Marina next door. Very good toilet and shower facilities, though no disabled access to them. In fact some quite steep wooden steps to access any of the facilities and the decking around the block is a bit rough. Definitely need something on your feet. Quiet site which suited us perfectly, close to Hamble centre but I personally wouldn't want to walk it as no pavement and quite a narrow lane. Reasonable charge in June (imo) but noticed a dog costs £2.50 a night. Was thinking of returning with family but this would put them off as have 2 Yorkies so an extra £35 a week! Shame. We enjoyed the break tho glad that we had transport with us. Definitely a site to consider if you like the River Hamble area.

A beautiful setting right near the bank's of the river Hamble a pub next door at the mercy marina and a little walk from the beautiful little town of Hamble which is full of restaurant's and pub's and a little pink ferry that can take you your dog's or you and your bikes across the river to the lovely town of warsash.

Great site especially if going into Southampton for sailing courses and the boat show. A nice stop over before sailing to the Isle of wight or abroad. Nice facilities lovely friendly staff and just by the marina highly recommend.

Nice caravan park. Quiet location and they also have a caravan for disabled people which comes handy now and then. Booked guests in for a week and no complains. Perhaps the ramp to go up to caravan could be longer and less steep. Overall great place!

Ideally located for hamble le rice, nice bar and restaurant on site, 15 minutes to Portsmouth.

Lovely campsite. We srayed a week and visited Southampton, Hamble and Warsaw, Portsmouth and Bournemouth. All were easy to get to. The staff are so friendly and the pitches, to let block and grounds are kept beautifully.

A lovely site and a lot going on around Hamble if you like boats.

Lovely campsite. Really good facilities and great location. Only issue for us was that they don't allow campfires which is fine if you are in a caravan or camper van but not so good if you are in tents.

Fantastic site with beautiful surroundings and right by the river. The site is well kept and the wardens are fantastic and will always go out of their way to help you. Also a good base for exploring the south coast. We stay numerous times a year as always made to feel so welcome.
