Superb and delicious Afternoon Tea. Great setting. Well organised Track & Trace. All staff in visors. Temperature taken on arrival. As someone being treated for cancer I felt safe.

Pre-booked and paid a few months ago for afternoon tea for 4 people today. Arrived to be told they had not received the booking and refused to serve us or allow us in. Staff did not take any responsibility for this and kept dismissing our concerns. We booked this as a birthday treat and all got dressed up and travelled for a nice day out just to be let down with little appology given. Not impressed at all.

Had my nephew's wedding there on Saturday and it was amazing. Everything was very organized, food lovely and staff very helpful. Beautiful setting.

We have held a quilting retreat here for the past 2 years. It has been brilliant both times. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the rooms comfortable and the room we use for sewing spacious and the chairs amazing. The food is incredible and there is a good choice.
Highly recommend it as a venue.

We used Highfield Park as our wedding venue last year and couldn't recommend more highly. Lauren and the sales team did a fantastic job organising and managing the day and are clearly very experienced at what they do. We had total trust in them. Three weeks before the wedding we went for a final meeting and got snowed in! They gave us a room at a discounted rate and really looked after us. They literally helped us dig our cars out the snow the next day. So many of our wedding guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to and the dinner service was flawless. The day ran perfectly and we have such fond memories of the staff who really went above and beyond for us. We are going back for the Valentine's dinner for our first anniversary and can't wait!

First visit to Highfield Park what an amazing afternoon tea. Staff very attentive. Would definitely come back again and highly recommend it.

Beautiful reception, friendly and efficient staff. Were shown to our room which was slightly small but had everything we needed except a plug for my hair tongs that was near a mirror to do my hair for the family wedding we were attending!

We had afternoon tea, all dietary requirements were catered for. There was plenty available. The service was spot on. We were able to sit out on the patio, the surroundings were beautiful. A very pleasant experience.

Not a huge improvement! Room like a shoebox, bed too short, wardrobe built for very short people! Juries out on whether drinks and dinner will be available tomorrow.

I booked afternoon tea at Highfield Park for my friends Baby Shower today and cannot fault a single thing. The afternoon tea was delicious and plenty to go round, we were looked after brilliantly by all the staff especially Leanne. Thank you all for making our day special!

Attended a drone piloting course here a little while ago hosted by COPTRZ and the venue facilities are great. Even has rooms to stay on site as well as on site bar, restaurant and meeting rooms. Teams are very professional, friendly and attentive to all needs. Thank you all.

Very nice place and setting. However, I attended Highfield Park for a wedding at 3pm, meeting before at 2.30pm which was mentioned at the time of booking. You are not able to check in until 2pm but the room was still not ready and multiple problems with key cards meant it was 2:45 before we got into the room! Bedrooms are very small and not well lit but staff are friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed a lovely 2 days attending a friends wedding in the beautiful surroundings at Highfield Park. Perfect getaway for some quiet time with a loved one or to simply chill out. I would recommend a visit.

Stay away every week. This was not good. Service ok, but food poor and room quality. I have stayed in much higher standards in pubs.

Went to a wedding here. Although the public rooms are very nice, the bedrooms are not so. We had a so called Signature Room where we were staying for two nights. Had to change rooms as the wardrobe was practically non existent, there was no room to put our cases and nowhere to put anything in the bathroom. The second room was better but dark. On the plus side, it is in the most beautiful setting (if it's not raining), the food was excellent and the staff extremely helpful. Best to stay for just one night and travel light.

I visited the hotel for a business lunch. Its a lovely building and the staff were friendly. The food was excellent too. I have previously stated at the hotel in the summer, and though a little warm in the rooms, it was an enjoyable stay.

Visited for Afternoon Tea (a Groupon purchase). As this was a January weekday it was quiet, but this is what we wanted. Staff were pleasant, and attentive without being over the top. Food was simple but very tasty. Portions were just right (we treated this as lunch). Drink top-ups were offered. My wife had an extra glass of prosecco too. Wouldn't give this as a gift as there are nicer places to go, but would definitely do it again for ourselves.

Attended a friends wedding. We found the location beautiful. The house itself is large and spacious and modern looking. The service from the bar and the main meal was superb and the staff very friendly. I'd definitely recommend looking at having your wedding there.

I was very impressed by my room, it was spacious, clean and comfortable and looked like it had recently been decorated. The delicious room service was very much appreciated after a long day's work and breakfast in the main house was really good. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds, though I didn't have much chance to explore as I was a business traveller and it was sadly dark when I checked in! Highly recommended.

Wonderful venue, grounds and staff. Didn't like the room I stayed in at block F. Gym equipment really cheap and brittle. Better not to have one than advertise it as a "gym". Food was great.

House looked stunning although dark so could not see much of the outside space. The room the event was held in was very nice wish I could say the same about the room we slept in, it was a little on the small side compared to the house. The staff on the other hand were nothing short of fantastic and could not do enough for you.

We had the most amazing wedding day at Highfield Park on 23 April 2017. The minute we drove up the stunning drive we knew we had found our wedding venue — it definitely has the wow factor. Everyone was so friendly and helpful but special thanks to Vanessa and Rebecca who were our wedding co-ordinators and were fab. Leanne and Aliysha who were so friendly and ensured we were looked after. The food was amazing, really generous portions. Biggest thanks to Kelly who was absolute…ly fantastic as our MoC. She made the day run smoothly, kept me calm in the morning and made us feel so relaxed. We had total confidence in her — nothing was too much trouble. She is an absolute star. Thank you Highfield Park for making our wedding day the best day ever — we could not have wished for more. Katie & Nick Fagan x.

We had our wedding here 10/12/17. Lauren and Rebecca are amazing. They both go above and beyond. Making sure nothing was too much trouble. Lauren was the best thing we could have asked for. She was a true god send. She’s so lovely, making everyone feel at ease. Everyone has said how amazing all the staff were and had welcoming they all were too. If you are thinking about using Highfield Park as a potential wedding venue, do it! They are the best of the best at what they do. Thank you all so so much.

A lovely location and surroundings, staff are very friendly and helpful. Attended a wedding to which the food wasn't suitable for a 9month old and they every effort to help. Only thing is the heating at night is unbearable… but I'm a Northerner!

Fab location, beautiful main hall. I was in the lodge rooms and they are in need of refub. Portable heater, TV with poor signal, furniture was damaged as we're the walls. BUT People were amazing and food was great hence the mixed review!

Stunning location and main building. Food was good and people were very helpful some of the rooms need a refund both fitment and furniture. More than worth the money.

Fantastic location and the view is fantastic if you stay in the main hotel. The only trouble is finding it, if you miss the correct road which runs along side the hotel track then you are stuck. Also when you check in and are told to go to the outhouse it downgrades the experience as the first impression is impressive. Overall a great stay.

Service wasn't great. None of the rooms had working radiators. Only had free standing heaters which tripped the electricity. Once the staff were informed we were told there was no other rooms available. Eventually after talking to the manager new room was provided. Beautiful place however they need more staff.

Just had a delicious afternoon tea in the beautiful surroundings of Highfield Park. Friendly staff who kept the tea flowing. Lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes in a relaxed atmosphere. Would recommend and will definitely be back for more.

Lovely open grounds full of wild life (deer, rabbits etc…), the rooms vary in size so it's pot luck if you get a large or tiny room. Staff are friendly and helpful and the food is very well done. Always a hotspot for wedding receptions and most weekends there's a wedding party there, I've never been disturbed by them though, the staff keep everything in order.

We stayed in the coach house, Fir tree court, adjacent to the main hotel. Room F10 — which seemed to have adequate disabled access. With its own private front door on the exterior of the building and a very well adapted wet room, with seated shower. We had booked this room as a family room (2 adults and 2 teenaged children). Every on inch of the room was taken up. I presume it would usually only have a double bed in. But we had 2 single beds pushed together, with a put up bed at the foot of our double, then the forth bed was situated underneath the dressing table. It was very squashed in but all fire exits were still accessible. The room was well equipped with an iron/ironing board, hair dryer, tea/coffee making facilities and a TV — which had a very limited range of changes. The purpose of our stay was to attending a family wedding. We were very fortunate as it was a beautiful sunny day, which facilitated some wonder photos of the grounds and surrounding countryside. The hotel staff all provided excellent customer service and our wedding breakfast food was outstanding. We also had a buffet breakfast at the hotel. There was a great variety of choice for the cool buffet; cereals, toast, yogurts, various fruits and some pastry tarts. The hot buffet was equally good with a choice of bacon, eggs, black pudding, hash browns, mushrooms, tomatoes and beans. All drinks were prepared in jugs; tea, coffee or juice.

Amazing — our heartfelt thanks to Kirsty (GM) for having such a wonderful team working for her. From when we first met Ashley back in March 2016 and to Zoe seeing through to our wedding in June 2017 the professionalism they provided is second to none. Nothing for either of these lovely people was to much trouble and it was a pleasure to work with them, they go the extra mile and give a five star service. We married outside in The Folly (was amazing) and had the reception in the Chamberlain suite. The waiting staff are extremely professional, this was mentioned to us by several of our wedding guests. First class as was the food, on offer good selection of drinks. The following morning breakfast was buffet and was regularly checked and topped up. Like ourselves our guests were blown away with the stunning views the hotel has to offer. The main building is also beautiful and we loved the homely atmosphere the hotel provided. Most of our guests were in the main house (20 rooms) the others in Fir Tree Court about 50 metres from main house. Although it was hot rooms fine and fans were available if not already in the rooms. All very clean and comfortable. Only thing lacking certainly in bridal suite was a fridge, maybe just personal choice. All rooms had tea and coffee facilities Cannot recommend Highfield Park enough whether for a wedding or special celebration.

Good food and pleasant surroundings for business purposes, however not sure I'd have felt the same if there for pleasure. The shower cubicle in my single room was tiny, and the room itself could have done with a refresh in places, and a better clean. Staffing was a little short at times, resulting it waits at the bar for someone to arrive.

Lovely location surrounded by nature. Small hall but well stocked and highly flexible. The views are great. The staff can be a bit grumpy when it gets late.

Works really well for day events. Lots of rooms with good air con, and nice touches like chocolate or ice lollies through the day. Food is simple but substantial. Parking could be organised better, particularly if there are more than 30 or so coming.

My husband and I had an overnight stay yesterday and from the time we arrived we were looked after by all the staff. First we met Kelly at the reception desk, who not only looked after us then but also when we had our evening meal she made us feel very special. The food was lovely all three courses and the waiting staff also look after our every need. The room was nice and comfortable and ready on our early arrival. The next morning we were again looked after at breakfast and the waitress made sure we had everything we needed or offered to get what we needed if it wasn't on offer. All in all we had a lovely stay in a beautiful house and grounds with beautiful views. I would recommend this to family and friends.

Attending for day event with work. Really nice setting, attentive service, room at sensible temperature on a hot day. Food was good with a wide selection, even for vegetarians.

Beautiful location. Easy to get to and has great views outside with plenty of space. Service great.

Great 3 star hotel. Excellent staff but creaking floorboards above our room were a pain. The dinner menu was limited but well cooked and presented. Surprisingly good quality buffet breakfast.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Enjoyed a very nice bar meal. We had a courtroom room which was very small! Would be ok for a single occupancy but not for double! Literally the room is two feet wider than the double bed! The walls are like paper and you can hear every room around you and above you! Would not chance staying there again in case had to stay in one of courtyard rooms.

We got married here on 9th September 2006 and I still rave about this venue. The staff are amazing and made me feel like ours was the first and most important event they'd ever held and nothing was too much trouble. The building itself is stunning, has incredible views and has an amazing team of people running it. I have just recommended it to a good friend of mine who has since booked it for her wedding as she, like me, fell In love with the place on her 1st visit. 10/10
