Unhelpful customer service team. Despite officially closing their doors, the hotel are refusing to refund the payment made for our booking. Shocking behaviour and nothing more than daylight robbery.

Very recommend this Hotel, spa was very nice and clean around. For sure gonna visit soon again!

Lovely stay to celebrate a birthday. Location within walking distance to all shops and with some great bars close by. Reception staff and the concierge were all so very helpful.

Just doesn't get better… friendly staff throughout — amazing rooms, amazing spa area. Just really really good.

Lovely hotel and room overlooking the city. Staff in reception and concierge where brilliant and really helpful. Could not fault our stay.

A huge thank you to Radisson blu for hosting the Gift of a wedding charity ball last night. The team were fantastic, catering for every need. Food was lovely and overall it was a wonderful evening.

Perfect! Great service, friendly and helpful staff. Great facilities too. A super comfy bed, both slept like logs. Option of a bath or a shower in our room which was lovely. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Too posh for its own good, as all other guests around were asked if they required help, I was ignored. Perhaps the outsider as I'm clearly out of my depth, I felt monitored as I walked around reception and the restaurant area. My room was comfortable, but bland and out of date. Use had clearly not been considered — plug sockets were too close to a desk to allow a mac charger to plug in. There weren't plug sockets next to the beds to allow for the inevitable over night phone charge-come-alarm use. There's a shaver plug in the bathroom that looked older than me. The hairdryer was a joke — is this really a five star hotel?! Get some supersonic love here, please Dyson! The lady who greeted me at breakfast was amazing. I admitted I was scared — greeted by perfectly turned out, black uniformed wait staff waiting to pounce — and she explained everything and directed me to a seat where I could hide. I said I didn't drink tea or coffee… but three of her other colleagues still came around to ask if I wanted some. The bed was comfy, the roof didn't leak… but I've felt much more welcome in lower class hotels.

We had a very pleasant stay for two nights. Adriana at reception was very friendly and helpful as well as all the concierge staff members. The room was very clean, we had a nice city view and the bed was amazing. The swimming pool was great as well. Breakfast was as expected for a 5 star hotel with the mentioning that the staff there could use some more training in customer care. Overall we were very pleased and we will come back.

This is the best hotel in Manchester by far. Have stayed for special nights like birthdays a few times to get a night away from the kids. The rooms are classy and timeless. Love the walk-in showers. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Can't wait to come back to see it after the renovations.

The room definitely felt dated and the bathroom a little shabby. Whenever it was renovated I'm sure it looked great and while the furniture and bed are all lovely I felt the room needed updating. It was clean as you would expect. Lovely staff and breakfast. I liked being near the Northern Quarter, but the street the hotel is on was a bit 'vibrant'.

Came up to Manchester from London for a meeting and chose this hotel for its proximity to my meeting venue. Very efficient check in by charming staff and given a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful room. Absolutely spotless and well appointed room. Large comfortable bed, wide screen tv, fully equipped mini bar. Very well fitted bathroom/wetroom etc. In the short time we were there we were very well looked after by housekeeping. Breakfast at extra cost was very good with a huge choice of foods, cold or cooked and served by very efficient team of boy and girls. Overall we loved this hotel and would have no hesitation to rebook if in Manchester again.

The room was spacious, the bathroom would have been bigger, but overall very good.

Arriving in Manchester for a very short stay to attend a funeral; our travel inclusive of traffic, flight and hire car delays had put us under a significant time constraint for attendance. Upon arriving at the Radisson Blu Edwardian the staff from the concierge to reception and the duty manager swiftly understood our situation and coordinated our "pit stop" so we could arrive at the funeral on time and in a state of calm. Thank you! The following morning after a comfortable nights sleep we enjoyed a lovely breakfast at the hotel with again great service. I would highly recommend the hotel for its 5-service and it's great location.

Very lovely stay at this hotel. Room was as shown online and did not disappoint in the slightest! Amazing customer service, truly felt welcome as soon as we walked through the doors! The concierge (Though I forgot his name) was absolutely remarkable and was able to help with anything we required. The pool, steam and sauna rooms were all of very high quality as well. The ice machines were a great touch too. All in all, great value for money and hope to return soon.

Great location, very helpful staff, a lot more for your money than in comparable hotels in Manchester. Our room was spacious with a very large and comfortable bed. Having a switch for the electric blind for the floor to ceiling windows next to the bed was a very nice touch. Very stylish bathroom with a great shower. Excellent views over a cool bit of Manchester centre. The breakfast was superb! Best breakfast we’ve had in any Manchester hotel. Very impressed.

Attended a conference at the Manchester Centre. It's about two minutes walk. The food at the Edwardian sure speaks for itself. The staff are helpful. You have a swimming pool and spa. All together at one great location.

Just a bit below par. Watched the barman serve 'draft' Guinness from a can in the bar. The Peroni I had was flat as a pancake. Salad with dinner was slimy, inedible. Restaurant cold. First room had no curtains, despite being over looked. Second room was tatty, loose carpet, tears in the headboard. It is a relatively expensive hotel for Manchester and should be better. Not good value, will be staying elsewhere next time Staff are friendly though.

Had two nights stay in a lovely standard room. Spacious rooms than many hotels I've stayed at. Friendly staff. Did not have the pleasure of enjoying the gym and pool facilities but looked good. Had a good selection for breakfast although price is slightly expensive.

I went for the loveliest afternoon tea with my friend at your hotel in Manchester (Peter Street). The ambience was so breathtaking and relaxed, the staff were superb and the service and quality of food was wonderful. We shall definitely return with friends 5 star x.

Excellent hotel with lots of history but largely refurbished/new with sharp architecture. Really good stylish bars (great cocktails) and restaurants and is in the perfect location for accessing all parts of Manchester. Lively place and can be noisy in some rooms.

Amazing old building with a quirky modern twist! Staff very helpful & friendly Nothing was too much trouble. Ewa the Maid was polite and friendly checking on me in the evening making sure I had everything I needed and Guiseppè arranged all the little extras that makes your stay comfortable and stress free. Spa was small but adequate, pool, sauna, steam room & jacuzzi with use of Espa products. Robes, towels and footwear provided. Room was large with lavish furniture and very comfortable bed with large changing area and wet room with seperate bath. All facilities catered for including well stocked mini bar, safe, gowns & slippers. Laundry facilities available. Evening meal and restaurant good competitive prices in a luxurious dining area with well stocked cocktail bar. Breakfast was ok, a bit mismatched and not having been there before assistance was required. Food appeared fresh and a la carts available. Overall an outstanding thumbs up from me. Yes I would stay here again. Thank you Radisson Edwardian Blu.

Wow this place is just fantastic. Brought my girlfriend here fancied something a bit better for a nice night away and we got it. This place had it all luxury rooms the bed was like heaven. Best night's sleep of our lives. The customer service was fantastic second to none. Everyone was so helpful and even did a happy check once we had settled in. Great location to the city centre. This place really is in the heart of Manchester and this is the best hotel in Manchester. Definitely book here.

The thing that makes this hotel stand out is the amazing customer service. A warm welcome, helpful staff, great room service make it outstanding. I'm still trying to work out whether it's the staff here or just Manchester people in general that are so gorgeous!

Beautiful old building that suffered major flaws in the past, which was rehabilitated and currently hosts the Radisson Blu Edwardian Manchester.

It was a pleasure to stay at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Manchester. I went for a business conference and awards ceremony. From checking in, I found that the staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The room was clean and tidy although the mattress was fairly well worn and uncomfortable and the shower head broken. But that aside, it was a good room. The facilities were ideal and we had a great evening which comprised of a delicious 3 course meal and coffee. The complimentary buffet style breakfast was good with plenty of choice in full English and continental. The location whilst not in the very centre was ideal. And dispite the things that I've mentioned, I would be happy to visit again.

Upon booking was contacted by the hotel asking for any preferences. I asked for a room away from the elevator, upon checking in was allocated the room closest to the elevator! The room itself didn't scream five star to me, there was complimentary water, bath robes, slippers and a safe. A nice touch for travellers is the built in wall plugs for USA and Euro plugs. I was not told that the SPA closed early on xmas eve, so arrived there to be turned away. After returning in the evening, the TV had been turned on and things in the room had been re-arranged. I thought it was part of the turn down service, but there was no chocolate! The next morning the spa was open. The gym area is quite small with only a small section of free weights, the steam room was not operational. The swimming pool was nice, the jacuzzi and sauna room were great too. The breakfast was served in the opus one restaurant, for the £20 asking price, the selection of food available was quite limited. For example there was only 3 types of fruit, no selection of bread. The toast was supposed to be brought by a member of staff but for us it never arrived. Staff through out were smiley and friendly. Overall a pleasurable experience spoiled somewhat by a few niggles. I would visit again.

Check in was brilliant, amazingly helpful and accommodating. Room wasn't what I was expecting for the price we paid and the view wasn't brill. Basic room, basic freeview. We popped to our room dropped our bags off and headed out. After spending the afternoon in Manchester we returned to our room, only to find that someone had been in the room, moved things around. They had also washed their hands and used a towel that they had then left on the side of the bath. We phoned reception to ask why someone had entered our room. We were informed that it was 'turn down service' (we only stayed the night) and it's all part of the 5* experience. Although I'm not sure I'd pay that kind of Money to have someone leave dirty towels around the room. Other than that I really enjoyed my stay, and the Christmas markets are amazing!

The bedroom was lovely, comfy & clean. The mini bar was as expensive as the bar down stairs, £10 for a g&t which is standard Manchester price, however we stayed for a works night out and the drinks add up. Great spot for the markets and Manchester as a whole, the staff could not do enough to help.

Enjoyed a fabulous spa weekend and the Christmas markets with the girls. The hotel is perfectly situated in the centre with shops and markets really close by no taxis needed.
The hotel is great with lovely rooms. Shower, beds, breakfast, consierge etc all good no complaints whatsoever.
However we booked a spa package with dinner B&B and were presented at dinner with what we described as a lunchtime menu. It wasn’t so much a menu more like a card with a limited choice for 3 courses. Main dishes were pasta burger or salad. Having paid £160 a head for 1 night stay and being shown at reception the full menu we were extremely disappointed.
After a lengthy discussion and speaking to numerous staff we were allowed to choose from the full menu and allocated £19.20 PP off the bill.
The food was okay not great very basic. The manager did take a round of drinks off the bill but we of rather of had a lovely meal without having to complain.
I would book again as the hotel was great but book lunch instead of dinner.

We booked in here 6 months ago for my daughters 18th birthday to ensure we could make everything perfect for her and the eleven other family members joining us to celebrate. We were told we had a reserved area in the Colonnade Bar to meet and start the night off. However, as we approached the room it was closed for a private function. Eventually we were allowed in and placed near the door where all the people from the function walked past us with look of disdain. The duty manager did her very best to appease us with complementary drinks but the damage was done. There were other issues in relation to us having to ask for everything at every turn with no customer service evident. At breakfast we were seated but no drinks order taken. Eventually when I attracted the attention of the waitress it took 15 minutes for a pot of tea to arrive and the waitress complained to US that she was having a bad morning. REALLY? There were other issues in relation to poor service which would take too long to go into here. This was not a great experience from start to finish. I was not looking for fault but we were not given anything like a 5 star experience. I’m sure others wil feel I am being too critical but believe me I have been kind in my review. We will not be returning nor will any of our other party members.

Room basic. No better than a holiday inn. TV rubbish. Soap screwed to the wall. Located in the heart of the city. Service was acceptable. Edward text service didn't work. Waited 45 for a brush that never came.

Easily one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. The rooms are beautiful and have everything you could need. Great showers too. Give the restaurant a miss though.

We had a fantastic night here for our 25th wedding anniversary, and stayed in the Genesis suite, room and bathroom extremely clean and tastefully decorated. Staff were very helpful and friendly, can't wait to come back.

Beautiful place. Front of house always very welcoming, smiling and very helpful. Spa staff let it down. Hence 2 stars as this still has not been resolved.

Furnished to a high standard with some conversation-provoking artworks scattered about the reception. Priced like any Radisson you'll find but not always living up to the quality you'd expect — leaky shower head and poor room temperature control being two examples. Still, an excellent place to stay in central Manchester if you want to pay for it.

Located close to the Manchester main Venue, the hotel is really clean and 15 minutes to the airport. Rooms are big and not that expensive compared to hotels with similar categories. Staff really nice and professional. Room service is fast and reliable. Overall great experience.

Loved the cleanliness, the ambience, and how courteous the staff were. It's a bit tricky to get to it if you come on the main road cuz most have been converted to a one way and the rest don't allow right turns, so we went around quite a bit. Had to reverse drive on a one way from Watson street just to get there (out of frustration). Breakfast was nice with standard variety. Rooms were clean and lovely.

Great rooms, very attentive staff. We had afternoon tea at Opus which was delicious, but our hot drinks did get forgotten about which was a little frustrating. Also made good use of the pool and spa, definitely a good option for a weekend in Manchester!

The hotel itself is very nice and clean. The staff are friendly and the rooms are spacious and commission everything you could possibly need. The restaurant is nice though a little pricy. The sauna is great, and free for guests.

Great location. I stayed there as it was conveniently hosting the convention that I was attending and was pleasantly surprised by the charm and quietness of their facility. The personnel was very helpful, friendly and polite. Rooms where a little bit small in my opinion although pretty comfortable. I recommend this place vividly.

Appalling service. We went for after dinner drinks. The place had no atmosphere at all. We were assured the bar staff knew how to make an old fashioned — they didn't! When it came to pay the bill they literally couldn't do a 50/50 split. It took us over half an hour to pay and four members of staff. We won't be back.

Great venue, easy access to major roads, good lifts and stairs, beautiful decor (including giant metal rooster). Bar staff were delightful and sweet. House wine was delicious, thrist squelching but full bodied without being overpowering :)

So I arrived yesterday (30/6/16) and this lovely man came running out to help me with my bags and wedding dress and even with his hands full he opens the door for me, making me feel like a princess. Then later on this evening me and my family went for a meal at opusone and we got excellent service and food. We left the restaurant to meet up with some friends and in the taxi I realised I forgot my handbag in the restaurant. (wedding excitement) So we turn around and went back, I ran in the restaurant in a panic asked a waiter (not my waiter that we had) about my handbag and he told me politely that they had put my bag in my room! How amazing is that! I'm so impressed with this hotel and its staff! I would totally recommend this place for its service and absolutely for it's amazing staff! I'm so happy I have another night booked in here! And I hope that who ever books in here have as lovely times as I do! ❤️ 1019

Rooms were very nice, clean, and with a lovely view of the city. Staff were friendly and attentive. Would stay again.

Second visit at this hotel and I have to say that it is criminal! Paid in advance for my room, upon arriving I was asked for my card which took a hold of £150. I knew exactly what this was for, however on my previous visit I was asked if I wanted this hold, I declined. This visit there was no option. We ordered one hot chocolate and 4 items of food throughout the day. Baring in mind there is a £15 credit to spend in this room. I was charged over £100 pounds for God knows what. Sent an email to customer service got a reply that my email had been forwarded and I would be contacted shortly. No contact has been made! Lovely hotel but do not give these criminals your card to leave a hold on. Will definitely not be staying here again! Disgusted.

Great location and beautiful hotel. As a Coeliac, I mentioned at breakfast I needed glutenfree and got nothing but a nod from the restaurant manager. Glad I brought my own toast as I wasn't catered for in any way even though there were signs saying just advise staff of allergies. Disappointing.

I was there for a job interview yesterday afternoon the rooms were amazing spotlessly clean. They have a great and friendly staff especially Steve who gave us the hotel tour. The tour was very educational about the building history. The building is so vibrant and has a welcoming atmosphere. I can't wait to get an opportunity to work in such a beautiful and luxurious hotel.

I just received an email from Carole Drinkwater (author and actor) who had just eaten in your restaurant and had gone to the Lobby to wait for her lift. She was approached by security telling her she was not allowed to wait there. He said he would give her 5 min and then 'throw her out' How rude can you be!

This Hotel has a nice atmosphere with friendly staff. My room was nice with comfy beds. It had a nice view of Manchester. Breakfast buffet was good; but nothing to right home about. Slow Wifi. Overall, a good accommodation. We'll stay again the next time we're around.

Beautiful hotel in an ideal location for us. We had a very nice room on the 5th floor that included an excellent breakfast, use of the spa and fitness centre and Wi-Fi as well. Very highly recommended.

Good location, quite a beautiful building, great breakfast and a nicely laid out room with dressing area. A little noisy but it's a city centre. I'd recommend eating elsewhere for your evening meal though, as Manchester is loaded with great options.

Super location. Nice place to stay when visiting Manchester. However the room we had was very hot and the ac very loud so no sleep without ear plugs. You shoul expect better from the 5* hotel.

I'm not the type of person to leave feedback, even for poor service, I tend to think that you win some & lose some, but my experience here was totally unacceptable — so in this instance, I will. I recently booked the Radisson Edwardian as I needed emergency accommodation in Manchester. Upon arrival I was greeted by 'Savan' where I was told that due to the terms of Expedia the hotel was able to give me any old room. I was palmed off with a twin room when I booked a 'Luxury King'. I immediately protested and at 22:00 with nowhere else to go I attempted to cancel my reservation as I was appalled at both Savan's attitude and Expedia's T&C's (I realise 'I Agree' to these but there should be a certain level of professionalism). I was told this wasn't possible and to "take it up with Expedia". I continued explaining this was unacceptable on so many levels but finally, with no other option I asked to upgrade my room so my partner & I could at least share a bed during this emergency. I was again told, with an unmistakable disdain for internet bookings & glee in his voice this again wasn't possible. The attitude from the Receptionist was simply unmistakable. I understand that this isn't Expedia's concern but this hotel seemed to have a problem with bookings through Expedia. Once in the room the two twin beds were, quite simply, two singles.

Used for business meetings. Fine although attention to detail in facilities for room not the best I've experienced.

Exceptional hotel. Booked a Alfresco Suite and on our journey down was called to say seeing as it was our anniversary they would upgrade us to the penthouse (at a cost) but still it was fantastic. Bar prices are a bit steep but then again it is a city hotel.

No refills for the coffee and tea packs. No toothbrush and toothpaste provided.

PROBLEMS! We had our Wedding here in September and to say we had problems was an understatement! Everything that could go wrong DID go wrong However the Staff at the Radisson were EXCEPTIONAL! At one point even the Hotel manager got involved to sort out problems which really were not their problem and nothing to do with the hotel, as a quick example one of our guests required a Gluten and wheat free meal and the first the hotel knew about it was when they were serving the starters. There was no fuss made, they sorted the meal out immediately and had even slowed the service down slightly so everyone still got served together. It was so fast and smoothly rectified that non of the guests even noticed and neither would we if we hadn't been told by the guest who required the meal! Initially we were a little concerned about paying that little bit more for the package here but you really can tell where the extra goes a little bit extra equated to a lot more service. As a result this Venue offers exceptional value for money, It absolutely was a 5* service and everyone in the events team worked together to make our big day flawless. If you're looking for a wedding venue in Manchester this Hotel is great and you rely on them to deliver even if you do encounter problems like we did. An extra big thanks to Elissa — who despite having to take over our event at that last minute along with her other workload conducted it perfectly. Mr Thompson for his help with our problem solving.

Went here for afternoon tea, was beautiful. Delicate portions but plenty to eat. Unlimited tea and coffee and what a variety! Great service and beautiful venue.

We came here for my partner's birthday. I treated him to the gentleman's afternoon tea whilst I had the 'normal' kind. I was pretty unimpressed by the beers on offer. I was expecting some better ales to be on tap for the gentleman's tea. But my OH had a peroni, which he would pick if there were no ales on tap. The tea was good and the cakes very nice. I wish I'd picked the gentleman's though as the meaty pastries were delicious! Luckily my OH was ok sharing. I did find the scones a little dry though, at least they were brought out warm.

I went here for afternoon tea the other month and had a really great time — if you go, try to get a table in the little side gallery — it's the perfect sun trap and ideal for watching the world go by. Also try the gentleman's afternoon tea — it's fab.

Firstly, let me say that we stayed a free night here as a result of a previous poor stay in another hotel in the chain. The staff were very friendly when we arrived and we found the hotel clean and tidy. Our room was also very spacious. But all of that was overshadowed by what we faced upon returning from a meal out. We came back from a meal out at night to find our door ajar (the door had been locked, but not shut when locked). We quickly realised that our bed had been turned down etc. And obviously the cleaner had left it open 'probably' in error. I say 'probably' as it didn't look like an easy thing to do, especially when it's a key part of your everyday job. We did wonder if it was done deliberately because we had our expensive items left out, but we gave benefit of the doubt and called down to reception. This was really frightening for us as we had iPad, Laptop, Credit Cards etc. All in the room. The room was also right by the elevators, so in hindsight we were extremely lucky that no-one walked in and stole our things. I did phone down to alert a member of staff on reception but he didn't seem too bothered — in fact his lack of concern lead me to believe that this was not an isolated occurrence: so poor staffing or the 'probably' wasn't so probable. For me this is a serious, serious incident and I am sad that it has overshadowed what was a nice hotel and nice room.

Fantastic hotel! central location, luxury rooms, great staff and impeccable service. One of my favourite places to stay in Manchester. Recommend the steak and lobster restaurant for lunch.
