Lovely hotel and lovely staff, that is until you come to check out and your key card stops working 1 hour before it should, leaving me unable to return to my room due to being in a lift I could no longer control, then being stuck on the stairs where I could not get back on to the landing or go further than the next floor due to my disability. When we finally got to the room we couldn’t get in as the card was timed out. It was an in convenient, frightening and dangerous situation to be in. Desk staff were not helpful, telling me my card was not working because they stop at 12:00 even though it was nowhere near 12:00. Another member of staff (Peter) blamed it on anything he could, including mobile phone interference, credit card interference and my error, except for the possibility that the clocks going back the previous night could have caused the problem, further clearing up the reason why the desk staff thought it was 1 hour later than the actual time. A good time ruined by a lack of professionalism at check out.

Stayed here a couple of times whilst visiting my son who attends University of Manchester and am so impressed! Especially the staff who appear to “go the extra mile “ as a matter of course! Exceptional service is the norm here!

Close to main nightlife areas only complaint is off site parking could be more clear on sat nav.

Was there for a training corse and it was really nice and enjoyed the outside garden with the sun being out.

Having recently stayed at a very popular hotel chain who where dealing with covid in a very unorganised, complete chaotic manner, I was very wary about taking my daughter for an over night shopping spree! However the Regency Hyatt was a fantastic experience and although certain things are necessary to prevent the spread of covid they dealt with them accordingly whilst still making all guests feel at ease. It is a beautiful hotel with friendly helpful staff and a relaxed holiday atmosphere. We shall definitely be returning.

Very friendly staff. The chef was excellent… cooked the food perfectly. I would definitely recommend it as a clean and hospitable place to eat.

We stayed for my boyfriends 21st and loved it, amazing room and staff, they decorated the room so lovely for his birthday, definetly be staying here again!

My daughter paid for her stay in advance and on arriving was asked to pay a £50 deposit before getting her room keys. The manager and other staff were staring and sniggering at her and I’m presuming it’s because she has visible tattoos so this obviously means she is in the habit of trashing hotel rooms. On checking out she was told to wait till the manager checked her room before getting her deposit back. This was all said in front of other guests and was very embarrassing for her. Anyone who has tattoos or piercings avoid this place.

Friendly welcome; dedicated staff; great selection of food and drinks. Lovely aesthetics and perfect attention to detail.

What a wonderful hotel! The decor and amenities are high class. But even more important to me is the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. A special thanks goes to Campbell on the wait staff for being a great server and even better person. I highly recommend staying here and I’ll always stay here when visiting Manchester.

Fantastic hotel with friendly staff. Our room was Spacious with a nice view towards the city. I highly recommend the hotel and would definitely say again.

This hotel and its staff were absolutely fantastic. We had a lunch and the next day a breakfast both were superb. The rooms we had were also fantastic, and Grandmas wheelchair fitted everywhere. I will have this hotel in mind for business or pleasure whenever I visit Manchester.
