Due to circumstances beyond my control we only used the two rooms we booked for just three hours sleep. Afterwards it appeared that I was overcharged on my creditcard. Neither various e-mail contact nor contact by telephone resulted in the credit I was promised. VERY BAD administrative follow up and poor contact. Never again in this place!

Hotel is well situated for my needs and car parking is on site. Rooms are clean and well appointed and I slept well. Seems to be a popular place for business teams to meet up so the bar was noisy in the evening but the resturant is large enough to find a quiet corner. Food was good and service efficient. Breakfast seemed understaffed but again the food was good if not labelled ie types of sausages on offer. Heavy doors on the rooms might be a problem for some but otherwise a good place to stay.

I had a bad experience with this hotel. I was told check out is 3pm only for my door to be knocked at 2pm to check out. When I got ready to check out it was almost 3pm and I was charged extra £20. I will not RECOMMEND this hotel to anyone unless you have money to waste.

Good sized room for 2. 2 single beds put together to make a double bed Hence 3 stars.

Without doubt one of our favourite hotels to stay in Manchester. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by karmil. So happy to help with anything you wish for… nothing is a problem… it's such a relaxing stay. Bedroom exceeded expection, Really spacious and big comfy bed… will be deffentely coming back to stay… thank you very much to all the staff… excellent service…

Had a great stay here. Infact its my 2nd booking. Great value for money and very helpful staff especially Jonathan who couldn't do enough for people. Give the bloke a payrise!

Terrible place no heating noisy, the bar had not catered for busy weekend so no lager and no food from the kitchen. Didn't even know what was gluten free just generally rude and not clean.

Nice hotel. Good location near Manchester City Stadium. Away from everything else.

Driven past this place for years. It's in a poor part of town located on the main A62 north/south Manchester road. I was there for a Speed Awareness Course because I got caught by a speed camera earlier this year! Was worth the four hour course NOT to get three points on my licence. Hotel, there are better, adequate is what I would say.

Standard holiday inn — clean and spacious. Good food for breakfast and happy staff.

Quite scruffy — bath panel kept coming off, curious stains. Breakfast poor — eggs and sausages had both seen better days. Lady on reception was lovely — shame the hotel didn't have the same charisma. Convenient for tram at least.

Great value, staff excellent and a lovely room. Only slight downside is location.

I feel a little bit dissapointed, the hotel standard is below expected. This is  more like an Holiday Inn Express. The room is out dated, reception desk staff not aware what is going on there … I stayed there for 5 days and every morning I did have to validate my room key to get back to my room — that was annoying.

As a contractor who works for the hotel (and therefore sees a side that the customer does not) I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at the hotel. They are so friendly and caring. The staff areas are as clean as the front of house areas.

The Wi-Fi did not work at all well and they did not try to Solucinarlo. The dishes combined well.

Out of city but good value for money. Rooms need more attention as they look a bit dated.

Lovely staff and rooms are decent and clean, but bed were extremely uncomfortable. Only got a couple of hours sleep and we only had 1 cup between the two of us even thought we called down twice to get another one. Wouldn’t recommend going.

Location and room were fine, but the attitude of some staff let the place down. Food wasn't great either.

People seem to be under the impression this hotel is in central Manchester. It isn't. Central Park is an area not far from the centre, but it's not in the centre. However, it does have smoking rooms, reasonable internet and a fair amount of parking. Breakfast is buffet style, and best to catch early before the food dries out to much under the heat lamps. The sausages are damn good, however!

Excellent, clean, and customer service oriented hotel — — I had major jet lag from flying from the US and being used to a twin bed, I just couldn't get comfortable in the larger bed I'd booked — the manager listened, was willing to exchange the entire mattress for a new one and met my special request to just downgrade to a twin as soon as I asked, changed my reservation without any issues or additional charges — they had also given me directions earlier in the week and accommodated an extension of my stay — excellent place to stay! (And the food is incredible in the restaurant conveniently downstairs — free breakfast)

Clean rooms. Quiet hotel. Good service. Couldn't ask for more.

Great hotel. Can't fault anything. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate, spacious and quiet. All for only £10 per night more than the flea ridden hell hole that I was in before in central manchester. I can't see how anyone can really fault it. Only 10 mins from town via the nearby tram stop too.

Beds lumpy and squeeky, terrible, noisy outside traffic noise. Bar prices expensive, in middle of an industrial estate no where to walk to. Only good thing free on-site parking.

Nice, fresh and clean. Room was excellent. Service was great. No so sure about the deep fried bacon for breakfast though.

Good clean hotel with an ideal central location. The bar and restaurant are clean, tidy and modern with a variety of drinks and food on offer. I've only stayed in teh king-size room which is large and spacious. I notice some rooms have 'executive rooms' on the door as you walk the floors.

On the main road, easy to find, nice big car park, nice friendly team on reception. We booked standard room which was big, not stuffy, big windows! Air con was working fab and felt great as outside was one of the few warm days we get here in UK. Hotel had a nice restaurant and cafe but we went out to eat. There was a good restaurant at only a few minutes drive, and we needed halal so went there instead.

Had over night stay and attended a work training meeting the next day. Room was comfortable with decent TV and bed was lovely and soft. Bar downstairs was spacious and the food and drink was good. Staff were all very helpful and very accommodating at the meeting and couldn't do enough. Food revised for lunch was really good. Thank you!

Attended for a business meeting. Found the facilities really well suited to our event along with the staff extremely attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend this venue for anyone searching for a reasonably priced meeting or function room.

Good hotel, had everything I needed, staff were friendly and helpful. Location isn't as close to the centre as other places but is very quite instead.

Location ideal only minutes from city centre. Parking is foc. Hotel is clean and well kept. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Staff are helpful, restaurant provides good quality food but menu is restricted.

Problems with the bath room, also room needs modernising. Breakfast ok.

Brilliant for a Holiday Inn, staff were all welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was modern and clean. The resturant and bar was nice, smallish menu but all seemed reasonably price and my burger was lovely.

The name suggests it's in central Manchester which it's not. It is, however, close to a team station so it's quite easy to get into Manchester. Nice hotel but the location isn't brilliant.

Friendly, attentive staff. Comfortable bed and a clean room. Breakfast was great, well stocked and fresh. The only issue was that we had a few problems with room keys.

I didnt stay overnight, but had a conference there. The facilities were excellent, with really good motorway access. The reception staff were very curtious and friendly!

Described as new but doesn't look like a new hotel at all.

A drink cost my mate £200! He volunteered to be the driver and stayed for a drink in this place after the do. No signs were lit but nevertheless he received the dreaded PCN from HI's agents. He could not pay this and did not. WOULD YOU? Straightaway the agents added £100 on for costs on top of the ridiculous penalty charge. Judge for yourself! I will be putting on the circumstances of the do in the coming weeks and what has happened to my friend as a direct result of this nonsense. Also the organisations involved in the do. It will surprise you! I am hoping that Holiday Inn are repaid IN FULL MEASURE for doing this to my friend.

Not the nicest of locations, but a lot cheaper than the city centre hotels, and handy for the Metrolink for a quick trip into the centre. Got a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe room, which was huge.

Nice room quite friendly staff. Good value for money. Not 4 star. The flush for the loo needs to be changed. The rest more than fine.

You certainly get what you pay for, and the room rates are reasonable. For business this site is excellent, with all of the amenities that you could need — including a mini kitchen. It loses points for the insecure carpark, which is a real problem for that area of the city.

Stayed here twice, both times had very good service. Breakfast is good with lots of choice and for the money highly recommended.

Pretty poor, menu limited as several dishes were unavailable, the loo wouldnt stop flushing as " the button gets stuck and you need to jiggle it" Not one of the better Holiday Inns I am afraid. Also its a bit out on a limb, nothing around food wise unless you want to trek back into the city centre.
