Was over from Ireland for a few days. Everything excellent. Staff and reception very friendly. Great service including organising a taxi to the airport for us and printing our flight boarding passes for us. If I were back in Manchester again. I'd stay here in a heartbeat 💯💯

Visited Crowne Plaza today for an afternoon tea. The afternoon tea was excellent. The service however was quite poor. It was not very busy so no excuse for the poor service.
The afternoon tea was booked as a treat for mine and my husband’s 40th Wedding Anniversary by my daughter.
The food was very nice it would have been even better if it had been served with the tea. We had to ask three times to get the tea.

I took my daughter here for an early dinner and the food was delicious! The wine was perfect with the fish I had and the lady that served us was amazing! Very professional and friendly. Would absolutely go again for food in the restaurant.

I hold my SIA Door Supervisor course here at the Crowne Plaza. A high quality hotel, lovely, clean, tidy rooms, very close to city centre shops. The best part of this hotel is the STAFF! A very friendly, courteous and professional bunch. Always there to assist! 100% recommend this hotel!

Our stay at Crowne Plaza was really lovely Julie from guest relations was brilliant she made our stay so special, the room was really lovely club room was spotless and stocked up we will defiantly come again, amazing house keeping, made us feel safe and all social distancing was great all safety measures were in place.

Good size room with a really good view, separate shower and bath, mattress was amazingly comfy, staff very polite and helpful, only down side was we paid £220 for a room (normally £100) as a festival was on, plus side was they use a local taxi service that will take you anywhere within Manchester and never charge more that £17

Absolutely wonderful hotel, the staff are charming and very accommodating. There is a bar and restaurant on the ground floor which has a wide selection of food and drink. The bedrooms are remarkably clean with lots of goodies, the pillow spray in particular was a lovely touch! I look forward to staying again.

Exceptionally clean rooms. Greeted warmly upon arrival, the location is conveniently located in the city centre making life very easy (and walkable! ). Would I stay here again? Yes I would. A few pieces of feedback to enhance the experience (in my opinion) and achieve a 5 star rating would be: 1) we stayed in a room with two double beds. Albeit being modern and contemporary in design, there didn’t seem to be much wiggle room when manoeuvring around the room. Considering the room is to serve 4 grown adults, in my opinion there should be more room. Although it’s too late to recreate the room, one could potentially be creative with the furnishings and it’s engineering to provide valuable inches to a room that needs to accommodate 4 adults. 2) I did not spot a fan or ventilation system in the washroom. Again, the bathroom was stunning and fitted to a decent standard, but a ventilation system is needed especially if accommodating 4 adults. If I missed this, I’m happy to be corrected. 3) I signed up for an IHG membership upon arrival for the benefits such as a discount on food and drink. The gentleman at reception was very professional and informed me that it’s automatically allocated to our room and bar staff etc would know immediately. Fantastic I thought! How cutting-edge! Unfortunately, it didn’t work out like that, we had to inform the bar staff of our discount and ask them to confirm with the reception.

Lovely stay, staff friendly and attentive. We asked for more towels and an ice bucket, request responded to quickly. Room lovely, and breakfast delicious with a wide choice, again quickly shown to a table and served coffees. Would stay again.

The Crown in the Jewel. A great hotel with a lovely ambiance that settles any weary traveller. Breakfast was awesome with such polite and helpful staff, a great way for anyone to start their day. Rooms were large spacious, clean with the best beds I had slept in. Thanks to the team.

Nice hotel. The rooms are small, but modern, and has good space usage and nice and cleam. Good air quality. The staff is pleasant and effective. Stay away from the restaurant. The waiter got my order wrong two times in two (both rib eye and BLT, which should be pretty straight forward), and the chef botched the beautiful piece of rib-eye three times (to little heat) before I gave up.

Nice hotel who went out of their way to try and make our stay comfortable.
Before our stay I received an email asking our preference of pillows and any other information I could give that would make our stay better.
I told them I struggle to sleep in hotels as they tend to be noisy, people coming in all night banging fire doors is usually the case.
Our room was allocated away from the hustle and bustle of the normal hotel corridors. The bed was so comfortable. The room was a little small (we booked a king bed deluxe room) but it was perfectly big enough.
They even provided a little spray for my pillow to help me sleep.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that the toiletries in the bathroom were from White Company.
We also had entry to the club lounge and had free drinks and canapés between 6-8pm. The service for the free drinks were a little slow and the canapés were chips, chicken wings things and a wrap thing so not great but hey ho they were free! At any other time we could have tea/coffees and soft drinks for free in this room. We also received free continental breakfast which was ok too.
We had a drink in the bar in the evening and that seemed ok as well.
Overall our stay was ok, sadly I still didn’t sleep as even though we were five floors up the road below was very noisy most of the night with cars racing and police sirens. (this police station must not be far away from the hotel) my husband however slept fine.

Good hotel overall. The levels of access for me as a wheelchair user are very good, level access to enter the hotel. Reception, restaurant and bar all with good space. Excellent food menu and quality. The room was comfortable, great to have control over the room temperature. Only downside is that the walk in shower has a very small seat which doesn't feel safe, in terms of size and location.

Highly recommend. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Hotel room was a dream. Have never slept in a bed so nice.

The Crowne Plaza Manchester is a very high standard and wonderful hotel. It is the most comfortable and pleasant hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying. I would of course recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. The staff are very friendly, efficient and professional. I would particularly like to express my gratitude to the reception team who made me feel very welcome and valued as a guest. Gill is such a genuinely lovely and pleasant lady. The Crowne Plaza Manchester is always my first choice when staying in or around Manchester. I have already booked another stay and am looking forward to it with excitement.

Fantastic Crowne Plaza. Super. Nice staff at check in and Platinum status got me an upgrade to a King Club room. Room was lovely with the most comfortable bed, like sleeping on a pillow. It had a large bath and separate walk in shower which was lovely. Best night's sleep in a long time. Club lounge drinks helped me relax after a long work day. I'll look forward to returning.

Firstly the staff who were very courteous, always helpful and a warm smile of welcome always there to greet one. Our room was a double double on the 7th floor. Great lift, great views and an immaculately clean room and bathroom. Great size in both rooms. Contemporary design yet very homely. Most importantly it was quiet! Having stayed in numerous hotels, including The Balmoral, Edinburgh, one is often aware of the noise above or below one's own room. Here it was a cocoon of calm and an excellent nights sleep was guaranteed. We had a bar meal and breakfast in the restaurant. Loved the contemporary design in there and yet again, tables set immaculately. The food was excellent. The Crowne Plaza was ideally situated for our requirements but even if it were not I would choose this as my No 1 Hotel to stay at in Manchester. Well done to all the hard working staff for making it a wonderful place to stay.

Service is very slow: waited 25 minutes for 3 G&T' s had to make two enquiries where they were. Later in the evening we gave-up waiting to be served at the bar and left for a local pub. We had dinner in the hotel and had booked table earlier in the afternoon, when we arrived despite there being less than a dozen people in the dining room we had to wait 15 mins to be seated at our table and when someone finally got around to asking if we wanted drinks when our order arrived it was wrong. Nothing wrong that a few more staff and a little better organisation wouldn't sort out.

Stayed here on the 8/1/2018 had a room with 2 double beds. Clean room, very comfy bed nice views of the northern quarters, really enjoyed a great night’s sleep with a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Would definitely be staying here again in the future as it’s close to all the central facilities. Definitely one to recommend, very helpful staff and great value for money.

Small beds. TV only had 15 channels. Good location. Lots of transit in the area. Restaurant had decent prices and delivered room service promptlym God local take out options. Arnsdale shopping centre is 3 blocks away.

Fabulous room beautiful linen best nights sleep in ages. Staff are very helpful especially Miguel the concierge he shot out to help carry our bags from the car right up to our room nothing was too much trouble for him he even parked my car for me and told us the best places to visit 10/10 for his help. The room was immaculate the bathroom was gleaming the towels were fantastic and all the little complementary therapies to help you sleep and selection of teas and coffees were a great addition. The breakfast was delicious huge variety lovely room to eat in. The staff very attentive and again I can't complain about anything. Only stayed 1 night xmas eve/xmas day and will definitely be returning I would definitely recommend to anyone absolutely stunning place to stay and best nights sleep in ages 10/10 ☆☆☆☆☆

Only stayed for one night, but was impressed. Room very comfortable and a good selection for breakfast. Very central with plenty of places nearby.

Stayed Sun-Fri. The room was immaculate each day and had very good facilities. Breakfast was great — a wide selection of items were available. Two minutes walk away is Shudehill Interchange, with a Metrolink stop and buses to many parts of North Manchester.

Good friendly staff, rooms are very welcoming, well furnished & comfortable. Small touches like the essential oil rub and spray for sleeping were great! You can also get access to the Club lounge with the complimentary drinks and canapés.

Immaculate bedrooms, comfortable beds, great facilities, friendly staff. The only negative is the staff's limited knowledge on food allergies. We could not have a hot meal after we returned after the concert as I was told they all contained gluten. Reception staff seemed unsure of what ingredients contained gluten in the breakfast menu, so we left and had breakfast elsewhere.

Great front desk staff… thank goodness for valet parking… we were able to drop off our luggage and get to the venue we were booked into on time. Room lovely and clean. Slept very well comfy beds pristine bed linen. The 'this works' to help you sleep was a lovely idea. The bar staff were lovely. Breakfast was delicious. I would have preferred to choose my seat at breakfast rather than be sat next to someone on their laptop as we felt we didnt want to disturb the man working by chatting. Having to ask for crumbs to be removed from the seat we were directed to has lost a star from my review.

Very nice hotel. The design of the room is modern, trendy. Unfortunately, the room was very clean and the windows went out in the yard. The staff is friendly. There is a kettle in the room (Zavorit tea or coffee) and there is even an iron with a desk, but no hair dryer! Who has forgotten that they have other outlets, there is one European outlet in the room and there are two USB entrances (which is not very important in our time)! Very close to the hotel and the gin. Not far from large shopping malls.

Stopped for a coffee waiting for friends in the downstairs bar. Lovely decor, atmos and great service. Able to watch football or relax into a comfy chair and read a paper.

Excellent staff. We loved Miguel he was extremely helpful. There was an incident with one of our party with the night security and they resolved this very professional the next day.

This hotel is located in a heart of Manchester with shops, bars and restaurants all near by. The room are designed in contemporary style with amenities like hairdryer, safe, tea and coffee facilities, toiletries, towels, iron and ironing board. In my room I had both shower and bath tub. The only downside of this hotel is the small size seating area in the bar. Other then that I hope you enjoy your stay the same as I did.

Terrible customer service, spoken to in a disgusting manner as I didnt have photo id for my employee stay, eventually changed to flexible rate when I called on the phone only to be treated rudely furthermore when receiveing and ordering room service over the phone.

Well what can I say completely disappointed, I have never been spoken to as I was by the on duty manager on the 26/03/2016. After complaining about the temperature in our room. I was not happy with the accomadation at the hotel this time, no water, coffee, the room was like an oven with air con on all night, no sleep a joke, I asked for a full refund, the manager, It is not in our policy to refund, Ummm won't be staying again.

My favourite hotel in Manchester city centre. I've stayed here three times and always great. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and cannot do enough to make your stay really positive. Most recent stay was 24 — 26 December. My Platinum Elite status was recognised and I was thrilled with my room upgrade and 600 extra IHG Rewards Club points. Throughout Christmas day, the club lounge was closed but we instead had the complimentary drinks and canapés in the Glasshouse during "Happy Hour'. The bar actually has a better atmosphere than the club lounge so think we did better with the alternative arrangements. The bar tenders were very liberal with the double measures if rim! The hotel representatives would randomly ask how I was and if they could help me furthee — thought that was a wonderful touch. Staying at the hotel was my best Christmas ever and I'd definitely do it again. Shame I didn't take photos of my upgraded room. I'm sure I will stay there again and include photos next time.

Tricky one this as I am not best pleased with traffic diversions to get here but that isn't the hotel's fault though it has coloured my mood. There is no parking at the hotel but there is an NCP about 3 minutes away but when carrying a ton of luggage it is too far! I was asked if I needed help by staff once I was in the hotel though… Stable door shut, horses bolted… Anyone pleasant staff and room is well appointed. Fittings are a bit superficial e. G. Lights wobbly and plug socket lose. Comfortable bed. Would recommend.

Room is awesome. Hotel staff are amazing. The restaurant is awful. Ordered the most expensive thing on the menu (fillet steak) — £30 just for the main course. It was way over cooked. With only 8 customers on the whole place, my food still took an age to come out of the kitchen and then was overcooked!

Me and my wife stayed here for 1 night, 30 august, first class hotel, the room, the staff the location and we will use this hotel from now on for sure, the beds were the best ever.

Brilliant value, comfortable, luxurious and perfectly situated. This is the ideal hotel for a short stay in Manchester. Right in the Northern Quarter beside all the cool places to eat and drink. Not noises at all on the higher floors, brilliant views and access to the club lounge with free drinks and breakfast if you book the right package. The staff are friendly and make sure to take care of you from the moment you arrive. Room service is fairly good value and late checkout is available again free if you are on the right package. Would definitely stay here again :) Be sure to join their membership programme it's free and you get upgrades at no cost as well.

I stay here 4 days a week and have done for 18 months. If I didn't like it then I wouldn't stay.

A large mid-range hotel at the north end of the city centre, conveniently located for the main shopping areas around the Arndale and Printworks, the Northern Quarter, and the MEN Arena. Comfortable and clean rooms, well presented, for a reasonable price.

I stayed on business in the Crowne Plaza in Manchester City Centre for quite some time over the last year. My overall experience was extremely good — very welcoming staff, who were as accommodating as they could be, with comfortable beds and good facilities. My main gripe was around small details, which end up being disproportionately important if you're staying at hotels week in week out. These were around such things as a lack of mobile phone reception on the lower floors, the placement of light switches (I had to turn on / off about 10 different switches in different locations around the room) and a lack of space to comfortably eat and watch TV at the same time if ordering room service. On the plus side, the room service was excellent, though again when you're frequently having to order it I did find that it was a little rich for a daily diet, leading to some of my patronage going to the local Subway in the evenings.

Wonderful hotel!
When I arrived I immediately got my room and stuff was so friendly. The room was very clean and it also had a great view.
Location is perfect if you want to visit the city center and it's just 10 minutes walk from the MEN arena so if you are planning to go to a concert this hotel is perfect.

I always enjoy staying in the Crowne Plaza. I think the rooms are comfortable, the staff are very polite and helpful and the location is perfect. I would recommend this hotel to a lot of people who're looking for a comfortable stay in Manchester in a great central location.

Warning I stayed at the hotel on the 13th November during a business trip. I paid for the valet service parking as I normally do at most hotels. When I left the following morning I could hear a flapping noise coming from the front end of my car, I thought this could have been some newspaper stuck under the car. When I arrived at my destination in Derby I saw that the issue was a 6-7 inch scrape on my alloy, and a flap of tyre, which was hanging loose. I reported the damage to the hotel and send an image. After many calls to various members of staff at this hotel, I am told by the general manager that they will not accept liability, and if I want to I can get in contact with the hotels insurers. I received verbal communication from two members of staff at the hotel, one stated that when he drove my car to the car park my car drove fine, the one who brought my car back to the hotel stated " the car did not feel right" but still the manager will not accept liability. This has left me very angry that I could entrust this hotel with the safe keeping of my car, after all this was an add on sevice at a cost. It has now left me with damage that will cost over £1000.00 to rectify. All in all a very expensive vist to the Crown Plaza Manchester.
