Clean room but that is where the positive notes end. Deceivingly small rooms and broken shower unit made the stay unwelcoming. I was ignored when I tried to reach out to a manager after. Wouldn't recommend.

Don’t stay in room 408, kettle is dangerous, leaks even when not filled over LIVE WIRE, handle and buttons gets scorching hot when boiled (was scalded a few times) shower head absolutely manky and mouldy, cups was filthy, coffee tasted like bleach, wardrobe door doesn’t shut and there was beetles bigger than my little finger! Rang the reception and they wasn’t bothered at all. Stay at your own risk!

Only problem is that you have to walk across the road to have breakfast in the morning because the hotel has two buildings on opposite sides of the road.

Stayed there 3 times now and always a fantastic service and rooms are very nice.

The room I stayed in had creaky floor boards and the bathroom was poorly fitted out. The taps dripped and the shower went from freezing cold to boiling hot constantly while I was using it. The food was okay, but not worth the price. The bed was nice and the staff were very friendly.

Great hotel and staff are friendly and helpful! Rooms are a great size and very comfortable!

Very good value for money. The room was clean and roomy but as we were opposite the car park, the security light kept the room bright during the night. Breakfast was very good and the location of the hotel was close to Romford centre. Would definitely use again.

Admin error meant we were given the wrong key on arrival, and entered a room that can only be described as not fit for use — exactly the reason why we were supposed to have been given a different key. We were instead placed in another room across the road, which only had a shower instead of a bath, although the water would not drain and instead made a bath of its own, which was quite slippery if not taken with care. The wardrobe door also wouldn't close when we hung up our coats, leading us to hang them on the rather spindly chair (which fell over a couple of times) instead. The lighting was awkward and would only work if certain switches were in certain positions (it almost felt like a riddle! ) However, the staff were friendly and polite, the room was clean and contained everything needed and the cooked breakfast can't be faulted! All in all, probably bad luck and some wonky plumbing, but a comfortable night sleep with a decent breakfast.

Good place to rest for the night breakfast in the morning is amazing Romford town centre 2min drive room prices reasonable also can request early check in which is needed if early arrival.

Staff were very nice and helpful, no controllable heat in the rooms that we could see and the hallways were extremely hot due I guess to the cold weather outside. Food in the restaurant was okay, if expensive. Overall it was okay, but I'd probably choose premier inn nearby if I was staying in romford again.

Breakfast very good. Free parking a bonus. Room clean and tidy but very small.

Staff very helpful and friendly. A very enjoyable buffet breakfast, would definitely recommend staying here.

Good wholesome tasty food. Brilliant service from reception guy Saad. Lovely barmaid, she was very attentive. Relaxing and surprisingly quiet. Wish there was room service though, but thats was a minor thing. Rooms very clean and cosy. I was very well looked after by all the staff.

Room are of an adequate size. The main building has some interesting history, a beautiful place to stay. You forget you are in the middle of a very busy area. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is rather average but of good quality. Enjoyed the stay and the shower is very relaxing.

Placed in the second building across a busy main road from the main hotel. Not the end f he world. The trouser press almost fell off the wall when I walked past, and the mattress wasn't very comfy at all. However the breakfast was good, the atmosphere pleasant and the room was clean.

I stayed here recently on business and found the staff to be friendly and the room very comfortable. The hotel had everything I needed and was in a good location. Nearer the entrance doors were banging but I had room 309 which was towards the end of the corridor and therefore quieter.

Needs air con. Staff in the bar were not interested in chatting to us as Guests. Very hard work.

Lovely place to stay, really friendly staff and nice clean rooms, breakfast was good with plenty of choice and nothing seemed to much trouble for them when asked to do eggs different to what was out, our room was really nice and had 4 beds in and there was only myself and my son so this was ideal as he felt like he had his own part of the room. Would definitely stop here again if coming to this area.

Nice clean hotel. Not much parking and boiling hot in summer (no airco or fans). Good English breakfast.

Nice place and convenient, the rooms don't have AC so was quite hot at night but other than that it was a comfortable and easy stay. The staff are really pleasant and helpful.

Great people and friendly service. Good window glazing as traffic outside. Clean comfortable and all the amenities you would expect. Good breakfast for price too!

Beautiful, the hotel consists of several small apartments dispatched over a hundred meters.

Basic hotel with paper thin walls. Don't stay here without earplugs! Rooms are OK. Double bed is small. Decoration and furnishings are tired. Moved from first room cos the guests next door were talking very loudly and playing music. New room seemed quieter until we were woken at 1am by guests in the room next door shouting and playing dance music. In the end I had to go and knock on their door and ask them to turn it down. The music went off but the drunken talking continued. Don't stay here — book a Premier Inn with a Goodnight Guarantee instead.

Great price, friendly staff and nice rooms.

Absolutely disgusting place, rooms dirty and rubbish on the floor! Telephone in room not working so no chance of speaking to 'reception'… and no remote for the TV so that not working either! Staff very rude… give this place a miss… you would never enjoy your stay here!

The mould and condensation was inexcusable, the room was filthy with unsafe electrical appliances, as regular visitors to Romford I would not recommend this hotel. On complaint the reception staff were rude and unapologetic.

Room was nice and clean, but I was up in the attic so I could hear the rain and traffic most of the night. Staff were friendly enough but it took 15 minutes to check out.

Lovely old building with good clean rooms, comfy beds, and very good breakfast. Similar to Premier Inns, but much more reasonably priced.

The man that served me was so rude and spoke to me like I was s**t, I never want to go back here because of him I felt so disapponted because of this as I was looking forward to my stay. I never got he's name, but I'm so disapponted I didn't.

EXCELLENCE ALL THE WAY! Valentines Meal-Arrived at the Harefield manor and was greeted very warmly and was taken to our table. Staff were very friendly and professional, Tables were laid to perfection with a rose on the table, Meal was of excellent standard and couldnt rate any better than pure excellence, Will defiantly be visting the Harefield again A++++ Sharryn Brown David Hinchcliffe.

Good surroundings and facilities Can't wait for lunch to review that too.

We piad for a suit £200 for one night but we got a excecative room waiting to here from hotel we was refuced breky in the room our main course was only just warm waited an hour for 3 rude waiters to tell us what was the last course never got it so we went back to the room after being charged for a three course and only getting to never again spoiled what was ment to be a lovley night.
