It was filthy! not expecting much but I did at least expect a clean room and basic clean toilet! shower is boiling felt unwell after taking a shower. Can’t control the water first few minutes the water are fine then after that it’s too hot! Very hot inside the room no fan and you can’t open the window because when I tried different insects are coming in. Everything they said online nothing there. We stayed in lots of B&B and hotel and this was the worst place I’ve ever stayed Noisy! Disaster! — score the only reason of 1 ⭐️ is to post this review!

On a booking website, pictures for the room that was booked had a clean double bed, and a clean single bed, which were just what was needed. In all of the pictures, the place looked classy and worth staying at. However, when we got there, it was like we booked a completely different place. The room had an unbelievably low ceiling that makes you feel like you’re 8ft. On the sheets were stains, and fleas! On one of the sheets, there was even a small spot of defecation, which alone is sickening. Add that to the stains, fleas, and pretty much non-existent pillows, and you have a bed that you wouldn’t even want your dogs sleeping on. There was a kettle on the floor, because. You know. Why not? No cups, tea bags, coffee, milk or anything. Just a kettle on the floor. Safe to say, we didn’t stay there. We were offered a £25 refund for a room we spent £125 on — and that offer came from the booking website. The inn itself would’ve been happy enough to keep all of the money. I do NOT recommend this place! Anyone that gave it anything more than one star were being generous. Anyone that gave it five stars clearly went there on a day that the people working there decided to do that job and actually clean the room.

Nice, comfy pub / hotel alongside the Canal. Relaxing setting with period features. Very friendly crowd. A lot of the folks were Sikhs from East Africa and they loved talking about old colonial East African days! Extremely friendly and talented bar staff and Manager. The owner is also a very nice chap buying everyone free drinks on a good day. The food is good as well with large portions. Indian tandoori sizzlers seemed to be very popular. They have live entertainment on Wednesday evenings at the saloon side of the pub which is well managed. The beers are proper (unlike weatherspoons) fresh and taste the way it should taste. Prices are very reasonable. I thoroughly recommend this Pub.

Don't go there. You can only laugh at the state of this pub. We were travelling through Southall on our boat looking for a nice pub to have dinner. It was listed in our canal guide as a nice canalside pub. On approach you already see it was run down. The curtains were out of place. It looked dirty. In an upstairs window was a very badly dressed transvestite draped aound the window. Needless to say we didn't go in. Our friends took their dog for a walk. The dag had a poo. He said it brought the area up. (He did pick it up)

Terrible service, unclean toilets, picturesque location though. Dirty glasses, really bad management. Would give a negative score if possible. How are people rating this place 5*?

The fact they said it's got SKY Sports for the boxing and its was a FAKE channel that didn't work and missed the fight room stank of fag smoke wouldn't recommend this place to RAT.

Bottom of the range accommodation which you would expect for the price, nice pub with sky sports TV but no ale. Larger or Guinness only.

Paid £180 for the triple room for two as it was the only one left, And an extra £42 for breakfast which was for three people even though only 2 of us were staying so all in £222. The room was dirty, stains on the pillows, my bed only had 3 of the 4 wheels so it lent. Went for a shower with the on suit we had only to find out that there was no hot water, but my main gripe is that we did not receive the breakfast we had paid for And in the morning there is no one around to even ask. Would not there again and would not recommend it.

Just a pub. No decent ales, well kept pint of Guinness. But that's not hard, is it?

Limited beer range, no food on a Saturday lunchtime but friendly staff.

The rooms are very basic, old and very cold unless you are on the radiator, clearly no building insulation anywhere. Staff are great and food is fine, but accommodation needs needs about £100, 000 spent on it. TVs are broken. Would not stay there again.

Price is cheap. Room is ok, worth the money but not more.

The room was filthy, you couldn't stand up in the room because the ceiling was too low, one flat pillow and spaghetti Bolognese was out of a tin.

Absolutely garbage, it's alright if you're a dwarf and you beer mats for a pillow.

Very friendly place, Accommodation for what you pay it’s good, would use again.

This place was a very great experience. The manager there is an awesome host, he goes all out to keep his guests satisfied and comfortable during their stay including his regulars at the pub. He does so much more than he is required to do. He also is a really badass cook. I will be recommending this place to people to going to England.

I haven't been ever in a so horrible and dangerous plac ein my whole life. If you manage to survive one night there you are ready for fighting a war (not a joke).

Worst place ever toilet was like a swimming pool, beer was expensive seats all ripped up staff was rude, wasn't sure if this was a pub, strip joint, or a hotel.

and now the coronation. It's £ 100 (125€), because I allegedly had a fight with my colleagues at work and the room got trashed. Anyone who has a shred of claim, you should steer clear of this place. Tear down the Barracks. Never again!

Sunday roast was really good only thing missing was the stuffing, about coming back definitely will be back.

Stay away from this "hotel".
Rooms totally over, blood spatter on the walls, door not lockable, drunken noisemakers the night before the window and even 100 pounds too much calculated. Never again!

You get what you pay for. The beer is good, the crack is great. It's all good.

The worst, if you can call it hotell. Its cold no heating. No service no nothing. You shouldnt have this place open. Needs alot of work an passioned people to turn this around. Paid 3 days in advance hehe bad misstake.

I stayed at the Old Tree Inn, and it was very pleasant. The manager Nigel and his wife Shikha were very nice people. The pub is dog friendly, the rooms were clean and I loved my stay there. I ordered my evening meals from the pub and it was presented very well and tasted awesome. I would recommend the Old Oak Tree to anyone. Thank you Nigel and Shikha for everything will be in touch.

Follow my experience with this Hotel/Pub I would advise any potential person looking to book a room to avoid this hotel. I booked two room through Late Rooms on arrival they did not have us booked in but had taken our money, as you have to pay up front through Late Rooms (avoid doing that) we were assured by the Hotel/pub management that we would get our money back, this has not happen and they do not intend to refund it either. avoid.

Good — cheap, Wi-Fi, parking, Bad — Wi-Fi signal very poor or non existent, parking un secure and used as a thoroughfare, room poorly furnished and bedding although washed, had grit on the sheet, bathroom was other side of building and well used. Fair to say I will only be using this as a last resort. 3/10.

Great little pub. Only in the area One night, found this had really nice food and really cheap. Staff were ok.
