So far (not long checked in) can’t fault the place. The room is lovely and big and David at reception who checked us in was very friendly, polite and helpful. Anywhere can be romantic if you are there with the right person — and I am.

Overall experience was amazing! Friendly and very helpful attentive staff, the suite was incredible, the spa itself was lovely and the spa experience was fantastic. Lastly,
the breakfast in the morning was brilliant! They also made the experience extra special as they organised a happy birthday desert for my friend’s birthday. Would definitely recommend!

A terrible stay, room was like a sauna as AC not working and only one window which opened, no sleep which spoilt Mother’s Day following day. Room Keys didn’t work, wrong parking info given, restaurant food very average and had to wait an hour for main course. Wrong breakfast delivered. No offer of refund just an upgrade on next visit. Which will not be happening as would not stay there again.

Everythjng about this place is wonderful. Friendly staff and the spa place was great. I enjoyed my back massage treatment and the lady who did it was lovely. We love the executive room we stayed, massive space and top class. My husband and I would love to comeback again. Would highly recommend. Thanks Crowne plaza hotel — Battersea.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza for 4 days, and had a magnificent, deeply fulfilling time together. The hotel is situated beautifully on the Thames, so that when you are pressed up against the window you have stunning views across London. The first thing you will notice after a long, hard day is how soft the sheets are. We were blown away by the comfort of the bed, under many different parameters, and spent the majority of our stay in there. I did need to pop downstairs a few times to sort some things out, but this was quickly taken care of before sloping back up for more traditional relaxation. The spa was equally relaxing. We were able to make full use of the tropical showers, hydrotherapy pool, and steam room. With no-one around, my girlfriend enjoyed my full package of services and treatments, highly sensual and deeply pampering stuff. She ended the week more relaxed and in love with me than she had ever been before, so a top tip, if you want to blow away your partner, this is the place to do it! Can't speak for the restaurant as I ate out, every night. A quick nod to Hannah and James who were very helpful in supplying some local knowledge, and recommending us things to do. We will definitely stay again.

Recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Battersea hotel, overall I was really happy with my stay. The staff are amazing and very friendly. The room was tidy and very spacious with a stunning bathroom. The spa was lovely the only thing was the swimming had too much chlorine in it and the breakfast selection let it down for me. But overall I would reccomend the hotel :)

Wow! What a VIEW! Getting to this hotel was like something out of an old cockney crime film… proper endsy, if you follow me. Getting in the lift and walking into the venue, the place felt like a lowly 2 star hotel. But upon entering the room in which the event I was attending was being held… wow! what a view — a superb vista of the Thames during sunset greeted us. The staff facilitating the event were superb. I must make special mention of the hand dryers in the men's toilets. Not Dyson, but superior… they approached what I'd imagine a sonic shower (sorry, that's a Star Trek reference) would feel like: check them out — it's the little things… Not sure what the rooms are like, but we had a good time… Oh, and did I mention the view?

The room was nice, decent size and clean. The hallway to the elevator though was like an OVEN in the summer! There's no AC in the hallway, so be prepared to walk from cold to HOT to cold again, not a pleasant experience. Breakfast was however nice, lots of variety to choose from.

Despite some negative reviews, my experience was great. The spa (which is included in the price! ) was wonderful. Beautiful view, overlooking the river. Really first class. The breakfast was amazing. The only thing that I wasn't happy about was having to pay for internet. Its not the most central hotel, so a bit of a hike. But if you want a great hotel and want to relax, this is the place to stay!

Amazing place for comfort, friendly staff and lovely location! My best stay within UK and we have stayed at so many places over the country and London! Can't wait to return. Thanks to fab reception staff for helpful and genuinely friendly people, in particular Neil who went to great lengths for us!

The hotel is not in the city center. If you're looking for a hotel next to the subway, this is not the one. But if you like to stay little far from noisy and crowded places, you got a very good option here. The room is amazing, with great view of the city and very clean. Bed is very big (king size) and comfortable. Shower is also great. Breakfast is something to tell your friends about. They have some options cooked upon request that are delicious. I suggest you try the Eggs Benedict and also the Eggs Florentine. Staff is very kind and will do everything to assist you. A guy at the front desk spent 20 minutes helping me understand the city and local attractions. Thank you, guys. Will certainly be back.

This place is a little odd. It is pleasantly situated on the river, and therefore you can go for a pleasant walk along beside it. However, the breakfast was somewhat disorganised, with oft requested items failing to turn up, and the 'hot' items on offer were tepid at best. Odd smell in the lifts was also something that was memorable. Probably will not return.

I WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE IT ONE STAR! I visited the Crowne Plaza Battersea several months ago and I have still not recovered from how disappointing the service was. Although we had arrived at the hotel before our appointment, we were slightly delayed due to confusion about where the spa facilities were. We had little help being directed to this. Once we arrived at the spa facilities, we had a very cold reception as if were were causing an inconvenience. We had asked for the facial treatment but because we were running a little late, we could not have this but we accepted this. Despite this, we were shouted at for being late as if we were back in school. The members of staff made us feel as if they did not want us there and were incredibly rude. They also were mocking the fact that we have never been to the spa before even though this should have made them try to make us feel more at ease. We felt very small, out of of place and completely lost for words. Because of our treatment, we did not use the spa facilities despite paying for it. When we went to complain, the member of staff was initially still very rude and argumentative until she realised that she had reduced my sister to tears. We received gift vouchers but have not gone back. I don't think we would go back if someone had paid us to! I don't know why we were made to feel like this.

Ok comfortable with a good Breakfast… But BE WARNED! BUT… at check-in right away this asked for my credit card. Room was prepaid… but fine that is typical for other charges! Well on Checkout paid by extra charges directly cash … and now 3 weeks later NO credit to my card! What's worse Hotel tells me to deal with my Bank! This is unacceptable for a hotel of this type. This has never happened to me in Hotels in London before always getting a credit / reimbursement right away! And bartender a lady. Had no idea in preparing cocktails and presenting them… also seemed to have not the greatest attitude… overall bad experience!

Absolutely delighted with everything about this hotel! The staff were so friendly and helpful and they made us feel very welcome. We got an upgrade to a junior suite which was very spacious yet modern with excellent facilities of robes, slippers, fridge, kettle, espresso machine with a selection of pods, a very swanky lighting system and an amazing bathroom complete with 2 system walk-in shower, very good vanity area and a tub with a TV in the bath. The view of the Thames was rather fabulous with a helicopter landing pad too — we saw one land but the room was so excellently sound proofed we didn’t hear a thing! The Spa was absolutely amazing too. What a treat to get such great facilities — we were totally relaxed when we left! We love the Crowne Plaza in general but will definitely go back to this one — loved it!

Welcoming staff on reception who were helpful throughout our stay. Room was spacious and modern with a good supply of tea, coffee etc. Room door was somewhat stiff so required a shoulder barge to get in. Also the lighting control system could have done with an obvious explanation as a bit hit and miss. Ordered items for breakfast on the first day which were tasty and hot. Had breakfast buffet on the second day. Plates were cold and food was luke warm at best so a little disappointing. Overall lovely hotel, lovely staff.

This was my experience last Sunday. I spoke to Neal who was duty Manager however he did not get back to me regarding the matter. I hope when you visit you have a different experience. ‘Spoke to a wonderful person yesterday when I made a booking, who made it feel like I was going to have a genuinely good experience. He also mentioned that he will try and make our experience special as it is my sisters first mother’s day. My expectations were high after this conversation. Sadly he was not present today which was probably the reason for the terrible experience. It’s not reassuring that only one individual would have to be present to offer good service. Might want to check that! When we arrived we waited over 5 minutes before being greeted or even acknowledged. It would be fine in any occasion if there was no one there or short staffed. There were around 5 waiters around but still no acknowledgement. Greeted by a rude individual who looked stressed yet there was only 3 tables in the whole restaurant. I asked if it was possible to sit by the window which she mentioned that we are fully booked and can’t sit by the window. 10 minutes later another group of 4 arrived who sat in front of us, (on the couches) asked to be moved and they moved them to the windows. I think consistency with each guest would be great! Especially as they asked the same person. 20 minutes later a waiter gets to our table. Bare in mind now there are only 4 tables full in the restaurant.

Found this place on Groupon. The photo looked very nice. Big mistake.
We arrived 20 minutes early but was seated. We however were kept seated and waiting for at least 30 minutes until we could place our order for tea. The menu looked very simple with not very much choice of tea. When the waitress finally attended our table she advised us that we can order what ever tea we wanted from the menu. We placed our order of tea choices. When the teas arrived I first noticed how dirty and stained the tea pots were. Photograph has been added to this review. My tea cup was also stained as well.
After the tea arrived the waitress did not provide us with any milk which I had to walk up to her to ask! Not very professional staff!
The quality of tea was very cheap where tea bags were used and not tea leaves. The quality of tea was very similar to the basic range from a supermarket. Was very disappointed with the tea.
The food came out which was different as the other tray had less items than our one.
A couple of sandwiches the bread was stale.
Whilst we were eating the sandwiches the waiter came to our table and removed our menu placing it on the table next to ours!
We had not finished ordering! This was terrible! We also found some of the deserts soggy as if they had not defrosted properly!

We had a great experience here. It started rough as the heater was turned on and wouldn't shut off. The manager helped us to move rooms and even offered an upgrade for the inconvenience. Breakfast was good daily although you could tell when the Chef who cared was working. We enjoyed the bar and restaurant upstairs with their decent Sticky Toffee pudding. This hotel is not close to all the Lodon sights but their are plenty of bus stops and access to the Tube via bus. Just have an Oracle card and getting around is easy.

It's a really nice hotel and a very big gorgeous room with massive balcony. However cobwebs above the television brown spots on the bed sheets and a non-working hydrotherapy machine in the pool Made the experience less than perfect. Also the small portions sizes for food wasn't ideal. However I give the Crowne Plaza Battersea 8 Out of 10. I will definitely return in the future.

Went for an afternoon tea using a voucher. The restaurant overlooks the Thames river which was very nice and relaxing with the occasional helicopter passing by, landing or leaving the helipad next door. Helicopters didn't bother us. Had a large pot of our selected tea each. The saviouries were good but sweets were excellent. Took our time to enjoy the afternoon tea. Staff were polite and didn't rush or other us. Satisfied and would visit again.

Came here to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. Had a lovely stay and were very well accommodated. Upon arrival, we were treated to a room upgrade and complimentary usage of the spa facilities. It would have been nice if we'd known about this before hand so we could have brought swimming attire, but it was a lovely gesture regardless. Great breakfast too.

Spa at Battersea ok — not great. The spa day was a 3 hour experience plus a nice afternoon tea. The spa area is small and treatments were in a shared area which I've not experienced before.

We had an absolutley fantastic stay, one of our best at this hotel. It's definitely one of the best hotels in the IHG brand. As IHG Gold members, we were upgraded to a river view (next to heliport) and offered a free drink at the bar. The room was lovely, clean and throughout the stay we were looked after with the room turned down and towels/complimentaries refilled each day. The hotel is next to the heliport and during our stay a number of her powered (loud) helicopters landed there, two of these I slept straight through and the last I saw but didn't hear due to the special glass — no noise at all — don't be put off by this. Bed was comfy and the air conditioning a must as it's a warm hotel. TV had a great selection of channels. Access is a two minute taxi or 10 minute walk from Clapham Junction station or of course car — or helicopter if the mood and budget takes you. All round a great stay at a fantastic hotel, where nothing was too much trouble.

Nice hotel and friendly staff. Air con not working during our stay and therefore room was unbearably hot and no way to open a window. However they did compensate us in the morning.

I visited Crown Plaza for a Spa day as it was my birthday. My son researched and booked the day as a present for my birthday. I had an enjoyable day and would recommend it.

Very bad, the service very bad, food with hairs inside, the staff could have been more enthusiastic though if the rooms clean and comfortable.

Worst places ever! We booked for 3 adults and 1 kid for 4 nights. When checkin they tell us we have to book another room for our child… not recommended! Very bad! After an hour of waiting. The manager came down and tell one of us we need to book a room elsewhere because they don't have room left… I'd took my family elsewhere. My elderly mother-in-law and my son who just turn 8 year old. "Crowne Plaza, you can keep my money's" and thanks for nothing!

Clean and somewhat luxurious room. Service was very good. Enjoyed the spa. Location is a bit removed from the action. Was overcharged 500 pounds upon check-in and 10 pounds at the bar so check your statement when checking out.

Good views. Room could be kept up to date. Electric curtains not working. Nor blind in bathroom. TV was difficult to navigate and limited choice of channels.

Grabdmas bday. Excellent, good food, professional service, bartebder was extremely friendly and patient with even children. The meeting/ conference room size was quite big.

I stayed there for 11 nights… They gave me a big nice room… the bathroom is big and nice… I love the smell of the complimentary soap. The bed is so comfy… I can have my rest very well after strolling around in this beautiful city.

Pretty quiet most night, good food, good cocktails. The service isn't great but for a relaxed dinner or drinks when you have time it's perfect.

I have been here as a part of the business event. Place keep the look of the high standart, service was smart, fast with attention to detail. The place have a good access by water, air or road. But the most comfortable is by the helicopter thanks to the heliport on the site. Looking forward to be here again.

Absolutely World Class Customer Service. Fabulous guys Lucas and Concierge Gentleman were just outstanding from start to finish. I would certainly revisit again. It makes me thrilled and overwhelmed to find such friendly, welcoming and helpful staff.

A very good 5 stars. The staff is really friendly and attentive. If you take the room overlooking the River Thames enjoy see how land the helicopter at the helipad of the impressive hotel. And there is worry about the noise because the soundproofing of the rooms is perfect. The room had TV in the bath, coffee maker nespresso, etc…

Just an average modern hotel. AC is very difficult to control it sets its self. TV turns on automaticlly. Lots of blue and white lights in the room during the dark. Breakfast eggs sat for a long time, not fresh. Nice views. Friendly staff.

Location not very centric, very quiet quiet and nice though. Very good facilities. Excellent spa, but a bit small, so could be not too good if more than 8 people, but when I was there we were maximum 6, so it was perfect.

Great position to watch the helicopters fly in and out of the London Heliport. I had champagne here with friends and although the service charge was a bit excessive it was a great place to spend a few hours. Slightly random position if you aren't going to the heliport, but a nice lounge area.

It might not be as central but does offer some nice views of the Thames as well as being able to watch the frequent landings and takeoffs of the executive helicopters from the heliport literally next door. Glazed windows keep the noise to a minimum, but is certainly dramatic when these large bus sized things zoom past your table at high speed. They do special deals now and then for afternoon tea which can be a bargain when you can get a booking. It's an oriental themed hotel, so they also have a wide selection of really nice loose leaf teas.

As for the location, comment since London is huge, there take the metro to go to the typical tourist attractions. However, it is in a very quiet area but with all services (bars, shops, etc) around.
Without a doubt, we will come back.

Rooms are great. Location is a bit off the beaten path, not much around the hotel. Do not order the Club sandwich in the hotel restaurant, absolutely terrible.

The hotel manager was very unpleasant and rude. The service is appalling. If you make a complaint, they would shout at you. I will neither never stay there ever again myself nor recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates good service.

This hotel is basically trying a bit hard-the opulent dark interiors reminded me of an episode of Towie. It markets itself as 5 star, but really it doesn't compare to the likes of a Hilton. breakfast is your standard buffet affair but the restaurant doesn't lend itself to being family friendly. The Spa is extensive but loses points by combining the jacuzzi effects with the swimming pool meaning you can't do laps. We were staying here to do some site seeing over a weekend and did find ourselves hampered by the distance of the hotel to the nearest tube station-its a small cab journey away although the hotel doors provide a shuttle service to sloan Square but this is drop off only. Overall a decent 3.5/5 for us.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. From the time I arrived to the time I left, I was treated like royalty. The staff really do go the extra mile to make you feel at home. The room was great with a view over the Thames and loads of modern gadgets! They also have a free shuttle service which will drop you off on the King's Rd.
