Review of H10 London Waterloo 4*

I was for in February 2014 for 5 days with breakfast in the H10 Waterloo in London, here my (extensive) report. Positive: The location of the hotel is concerned both the underground and bus stops what the Fortbewegunsmöglichkeiten. Very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. Champagne reception, the breakfast buffet was varied and of good quality, and the service was ok free Wi-Fi rooms are not very large but are completely sufficient bath pleasant atmosphere design, feels immediately probably baggage before check-in no problem. Also luggage after the check-out is possible. (If the return flight only in the evening) Negative: Much noise from the nearby police station and a hospital in the vicinity. (To do this, I must say that I had a room on the 2nd floor! A few floors would later be better! ) The cleanliness of the rooms was poor for a 4 star hotel! The bright-painted walls were dirty easily and the door was conspicuously damaged amounting to the Castle. Also, the bathroom was not very clean (spots in the mirror, shower head with many lime back stood on the handle) the bar is pleasantly designed in principle, but the service is defective. (Wanted to give me a few Guiness, the bartender came pretty quickly for the first order, but disappeared after that, so I could order around 45 min later my 2nd Guinness. ) There, I noticed how he poured me the pint canned in glass, serve me the canned beer and again disappeared. I was allowed to pay then again after a good 45 min) the in-house restaurant 302 the price is ok, the service is good, the food tasted (Sirloin steak), down to the fact that it was only little more than lukewarm. Conclusion: In principle a beautifully designed hotel in a good location, but there is still need to catch up as far as service and cleanliness. I am nevertheless satisfied but not happy. Price/performance is therefore no more than satisfactory. All of my listed items are among other personal impressions and must not necessarily apply to other visitors. Nevertheless I want to submit here a honest and hopefully helpful report.
