My wife and I love small romantic Städtetripps, which may cost more then even. Unfortunately, our Weihnachtstripp to London was a flop at this hotel. Two things are our negative attention: 1 the hotel is (particularly in the lobby and in the bar) run over like an airport terminal. The noise of children playing here to do so. A silent cocktail evening in the bar is not to think. Especially because the hotel pushes the bar also outwardly and obviously very many foreign hotel guests to celebrate there (are) coming out. Can you find OK, isn't that what we had promised us is but. 2. What was particularly bad, is the State of the Spa. It worked only a sauna, the pool area was very dirty "thanks to" the patterned floor tiles, as I would not even guess at Ballermann hotel rooms. There were only 6 chairs for about 30 people, for it but no slipper (had fortunately own) and a bathrobe. And then also the noise of the children (again) playing. Had the charm of a fun pool but not a spa – rather the opposite. But the Spa is very important for us because we like to add 1-2 hours rest after our day excursions before dinner. Unfortunately, that was a complete bust. The French restaurant is excellent, but (strangely) only a small selection of wines. Here we felt well taken (thankfully). The entire staff was usually professionally friendly, up on the poor "Devil" at the lobby desk which, mentioned, in fact always was run over as above. The hotel is very centrally located. Our room was good (Tip: book disabled, then there's more space). I can confirm that the hotel really makes impression of dark and sometimes cramped in the hallways what personally but I don't mind. The hotel has over a thousand rooms, many of the rooms also go inside in a courtyard, which unfortunately diminishes the prospect. Our room was as quiet and not too thin. Conclusion: too expensive only for overnight and almost unusable for romantic trips. The first and last time in this hotel and never a hotel with 1000 + rooms, you learn.
