Pretty crappy unfortunately — if you're on a budget, you're much better off finding a proper hostel and staying there; or move up a category and pay a bit more for a decent hotel. Rooms small and extremely tired, paint falling off, shower drain 90% clogged, unbearable hot until about 1 am despite keeping the window open and using the fan. Communication to Victoria wasn't bad, but certainly not good. Won't be coming back. Pro tip though: The bakery behind the hotel (a few blocks away from the main road) was pretty decent.

Most of the staff is quite helpful (at first I got a really bad room, but they did their best to change me to a better one), however the quality of the rooms leave to be desired. My coat rack just fell down, my sheets were dirty even after 4 days of asking them to change it (at some point they just inverted it). In the end you get what you paid for, as the neighborhood is amazing.

Just returned home from London room small tiny bathrooms with broken handles and broken bed lights. Pictures not equal to how the rooms really are. Beds glued to the bathroom door.

Small rooms but very cheap and clean hotel. Close to the metro station. Still in Zone 2. Recommended.

Cheap and very nice Hotel, if you want to spend a weekend in London. It Offers the possibility to make meals and a large open space where you can chat. The rooms are clean and offer any kind of service (towels, soap, heaters, television, fan, …). The only downside is the staff at the front desk who is not very friendly.

Fantastic location 5 mins from Clapham South Station. Good value for money. But I was expecting something more. I booked together with 2 my girlfriends a triple room which we would have only served to sleep in. We didn't have any big claims but the room was really small (we couldn't even move). The thing that bothered me the most was the absence of a closet (we stayed for 5 days with the clothes inside the suitcase) and there was not even room to rest the luggage.
Anyway, we didn't find it very bad. Friendly staff, good breakfast (surcharge) and nice property.
Whatever you ask (even an adaptor) is paid.

Welcoming, friendly and helpful staff, : helped me get my bike stored securely (and helping me sort out locking up the bike and then realising I'm left the key in Edinburgh! ). Good budget hotel: clean, warm, hot water and towels. B'fast not taken.

Granted I booked a cheap room as I was only in the hotel in evenings for a few days. But I did not appreciate the boiler cupboard they put me in! Litterally a small room with the sound of the boiler going ALL night so not a relaxing sleep to be had. Both days the swip key stopped working so after making my way to the top of the building I had to go back down again to have the key reprogrammed. Worse than the boiler noise all night was when I finally managed some sleep I woke up to worse than terrible water pressure (i. E. Old people dribble with more pressure), AND the water barely ran warm and only for about 3 minutes. Summing it up Small Bad sleep too much noise NO propped hot water Dribble of warm water Won't go back. Especially when you consider only £50/night isn't much for a few days but if they use this room all year round they are making over £18, 000/year to provide something they should be begging you to use.

Hotel not terrible overall, lack of soundproofing (we all hear, a lot of car passage) wallpaper that takes off, lack of cleanliness, much of a bad way, the parquet moves, the doors squeed, no elevator, the map turns off all the days.
Breakfast at 200 m, really not terrible. Only croissants and chocolate breads are suitable. Paid Wi-Fi.
The +: the comfortable mattress, close to small shops and the Metro, nice little park in front.

I am very satisfied from the location and the hotel. The prices are good for a night but you have to pay for the Wi-Fi or anything to drink or eat. As a room, it is very good with everyday clean service. I would totally visit again.

My room in specifc wasnt that great, heating was off and we couldnt turn it on, TV aerial cable was broken so no tv, the shower head couldnt be hold the proper place so we had to hold it in our hands, but the staff was very helpfull and did the best they could considering the time and day of the week we were there for.

It was clean and basic. Double room waa so small however. It was also cold in the room with no option of heat.

Great value for money as long as you don't get one of the smaller rooms! This part of Clapham is fun, lively and friendly — and across the road from the wonderful common.

Trip of June 2017: We start from the good things (which are few) — convenient location a few blocks from the black line of the Metro — Nice view of the park if you happen the street side room.
— Relatively quiet room.
— Acceptable cost for one week.
Then there's the cons.
— The reception was not the best. They have another superior hotel alongside them and when, as for us, you are mistaken, you find yourself in a much uglier hotel. This is not immediately apparent from the reviews here on trip and especially I did not find it indicated anywhere.
— the receptionist with a blouse that showed the bra between the middle buttons gave the idea of sloppy.
— Internet access costs £4 per day. £1 from the station near the hall.
— no elevator, little stairs with carpet. Be careful not to slip.
— On the handrails and on the doors the paint was fresh (and in any case it was not properly given) and never reported.
— The room pass Smagnetizzava practically always in spite of the precautions.
— Room 8125 is a single with a double bed. You only climb to one side because the bed is as wide as the room.
-There are no cupboards but only one bracket with crutches.
' The high shelf definitely had a lot of dust.
— Tiny bathroom with a very small sink, even for British canons.
— Tilted bath shelf and suction unit not working.

Great location, nice and friendly staff, the woman at the front desk gave great recommendations on what to look for and how to get there, always clean towels only 4 pounds for the Wi-Fi is slightly overstated.
Overall for the price a great hotel.

Grubby room, the door to the room didn't work properly and there was nowhere secure to store valuables. Best avoided.

It's OK. It's low cost. Rooms are small and the decor leaves much to be desired but there clean and a good place to sleep. Room was always hot despite it being the first week of February so can't complain about that, actually had to use the fan provided. All in all not a bad place to stay for the cost.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4nights and we liked this hotel very much. It's a very pretty place, clean, near bus stop and tube and the staff is very professional and kind! Unfortunately something in the room was broken and the electric kettle didn't work very well. Anyway we hope to come back soon!

Good quality-price with toilets with tub per room, with Metro, supermarkets, cafes leisure nearby and front a huge park with people doing activities constantly.

A good hotel if you are looking for a bed. For this price don't expect to find much more. Shabby decor, currently in renovations, narrow hallways, very shabby decoration. But it has good metro connection and the cleanliness of the rooms is spotless.

Okay hotel, very noisy near the side of the road. Rooms were quite small for the price, but it's London prices so can't complain too much. You have to pay for Wi-Fi which can get expensive. Staff were nice though and if you are just looking for a roof over your head for one night then it's not too bad.

Good hotel, good location and great value for money
I have been several times, usually quiet but the last time I touched the room next to the staff area and did not stop making noise at night and early in the morning, arriving to have to call them attention.

We start from the assumption that the stars correspond to a quality/price assessment. I stayed 2 times for the price of 42 pounds per night (per couple! ), with en-suite room. Anyone who knows London knows what it is for those prices, and the bathroom in the room is a utopia. So, yes the rooms are small, basic. The cleanliness honestly average of facilities at par. The bathroom is obviously small, but with a comfortable and nice shower. Therefore deserves these stars, I have not given 5 because the breakfast unfortunately does not deserve much (as quantity and quality in relation to the price). To those who give negative ratings, I wish to stay in London at 21 pounds apiece at the Hilton! Another advantage: it is at 200 m from the Metro — the Northern Line which is a night tube with very long hours-, and very close there are some small markets open until late for every need.

The hotel has been renovated and looks beautiful again, it is quite quiet but winded. The rooms are quite small, but are enough to sleep. The road to Brixton is not far, which made us very happy.

Location: easy to access underground from hotel, shops nearby for amenities and food. Rooms were small, simple but clean and fresh, housekeeping were efficient and helpful, although 1 star off because the mattress in our room was very uncomfortable, however the price of the room we were happy with and made for a good base to explore London from which is all we really needed. Our overall experience was positive with staff and everyone else in the hotel.

Short walk from Clapham South tube station and easy to find. Clean room looked newly refurbished, a bit small for a triple room (had to squeeze past the bed to get into the en suite) but with everything you need for a tourist trip to London: bed, toilet, shower. Wi-Fi available at extra cost and as is breakfast which is available at their sister hotel a short walk away. Staff were friendly and man the reception desk 24/7.

Economical and ideal for families.

Not only is this an affordable place to stay, you get a tidy room, great service and as a bonus it is very close to transport links.

A right hotel to spend some night in London. It is a reformed house from which they have taken out small rooms, like so many other hotels in London. It is in a quiet area, next to a park and very well connected to central London through the Metro. It has a stop at 200 meters from the hotel. If you're looking for something special, of course this is not your place. A zero service level: They charge you for the Wi-Fi, for leaving your suitcases if you arrive before check in, and the friendliness of the staff, the just. You don't expect a large room or a very comfortable bed. Yes, cleanliness is fine. A cheap option your plan to go to London and not spend time at the hotel.

Good hotel and with a service and rooms, in good condition and recently refurbished, so we could observe.
In a well-communicated place, with Metro stops, bus nearby and in front of a large park. Close to shopping area and restaurants the only detail against it was that for the price paid, it should be included breakfast as other hotels in the area or nearby, for that price they include.

Great hotel, rooms are comfortable and clean in a quiet part of London a stone's throw from the black Metro.

Average hotel, great for visiting London, 7 stops from central London on the tube. Hotel offers breakfast off-site at a sister lodge. Rooms are basic. And hotel charges £3 to store a bag in the luggage room under the stairs.

Its near subway and shops. Good for local stay. Reasonable prices. Room was small and cleanliness could be alot better.

Very friendly staff and amazing location.

After being eaten alive by bed bugs in a room with no air con or window (temperature of 29 degrees) and a shower that didn't work, we complained to the manager in the morning who said she'd come back to us in 48 hours. It's now been over 3 days and nothing. The place is an absolute state. You have been warned.

Fro. 2 star hotel but only deserves 0, 5… The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Positive points: close to a Metro and bus station, and pretty exterior façade.

Very dirty. It's like they don't vacuum. The beds are not comfortable, springs are felt.

Sick! They stuck us in a basement room where everything was damp—the bedding, the towels, and even the toilet paper! And bugs in the bed! When we brought it to their attention they said they could not give us a refund! UNBELIEVABLE We are leaving now. They will give us a refund for this sick, wet room. And we are DEFINITELY reporting this place to the Health and Saftey Executive.

Wet gloss paint on walls without sign to say so. Rooms are small and really hot despite windows being open. The noise and lights from the street are so bad it's difficult to sleep. I literally woke up every 45mins because of the noise of speeding cars and traffic outside. Heavy streams of traffic even at midnight. Plus for some unknown reason they think it's a a great idea to use floodlights to light up the building at night… except the lights shine directly into your room making it impossible to sleep properly. The room, bedding, and towels are clean. Would not recommend. In fact, I would go as far as to say this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I could have forgiven the shower that doesn't drain properly, broken kettle lid etc. If I could sleep fine. All I want from a hotel is a decent nights sleep, but the noisy road outside, lack of air circulation inside and flood lights coming into my room stopped that from happening. Avoid like the plague.

Nice Hotel and close to the Metro. Unfortunately the Wi-Fi is only for a fee.

The room was really comfortable and clean, we had an amazing welcome when arrived, really good size room. Location is great, close to the Clapham south tube station and is full of shops for every need.

It's okay. They describe it as cheap with views of the common. That's what it is. It's well situated too. I stayed here because my boiler broke and you could have cut glass on my anyway it was convenient. Clean? Mostly. Staff? On the ball.

Complete bed bug infestation. Hotel manager is vile and lying. Noisy and dirty. Basically, I got eaten up by bed bugs (the hotel manager claimed it was cockroaches, despite pictures of the creatures). After a long discussion she agreed to rectify the situation by 'professionally cleaning our clothes'. Next morning, we find our clothes, all our clothes, stacked on the floor and on dirty chairs, still dripping wet. Needless to say, we had to get out of that hell hole immediately. Thank's to Euro Clapham, I have to foot a dry cleaners bill of 170 pounds. I have to live for weeks with itching and red spots in my face and all over my body, and, potentially, a massive bug infestation at home. There are tons of hotels in London. Do yourself a massive favour, and go somewhere else. I wish I had.
